Katie, I understand you food dilemma. I think I have the balance figured out for me...I just have to abide by it.
Thanks for asking about my mom's. It went well. I had a small slice of pizza w/ veggies on it. And a small piece of cake. I brought an apple along to eat. Earlier in the day I told my mom I was going to bring a salad and she got really wierd. She pretty much told me not to bring it. Isn't it funny how people who don't eat healthy almost get *mad* when YOU do? Sheesh!
She did make up for it though by getting me some great birthday gifts - cool knee socks from JCrew ( I am almost addicted to knee socks - I have SO MANY pairs), funky colored tights, a gift card to Hobby Lobby (I'm a HUGE scrapper) AND a mini food processor. I couldn't believe it. Even when we were kids if she spent $30 on us she'd make a huge deal out of it and we'd feel guilty she'd spent any at all, even tho I KNOW $$ is no problem for them. Oh, well. I think the main thing your parents teach you is how to NOT parent your own kids! LOL.
I did shoulders, calves, and core from LIS. I wanted to do the cardio too but my legs are really needing the rest. Tomorrow is supposed to be total rest day, but maybe I can sneak that in.
Hope everyone finished well today. Looking forward to an AWESOME day tomorrow!
