So who is ready for clean and tidy Monday?
 
I'm up early again. I really don't sleep well when its TTOM.

This a.m. I did Lower Bod Pyramid. This is the first time that I did the whole workout with 2 15# DBs, then 35# BB, then 2 20# DBs. That is why my butt is hurting now. Those two 20# Db was a bit too much.

I'm here, and I'm alive!! (For those of you who missed my post yesterday evening, I have food poisoning) I have not been able to keep any food in my system since Saturday afternoon. No workout for me this am -- I am so weak I can barely walk around my house!

I am going to try to go to work today, we will see how that goes. Our Director has been out for 5 weeks after having emergency surgery, and she is coming back today, so I feel like I should be there when she comes back. If I don't feel well, I may come home at lunch time.

Today is day four of no workouts and I am getting pretty discouraged. It really irks me to have to take UNplanned rests -- especially right before the road trip!

Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer on a Monday. Hope everyone has a great day!

Katie, Sorry for the sickness!! Any clue on what it was? I hope work goes okay for you.

I never made it back y'day. Such a busy day then I had work/payroll stuff to do from 7-11PM. Eats were good and no WO since I haven't taken one in a week and a half.

Today WILL be a good day!

d - out with the fam. I think DDs want PF Chang's (reward for Isabel going to the dentist for the first time. She's petrified!) I did well last time - today will be the same.)

WO - UB weights of some kind this AM. Hopefully water aerobics tonight.
 
Robin and Kate, you are both doing so well with eating and workouts lately - I'm really jealous!

I realized that I have court this afternoon, so I better get to feeling better and fast! I am taking a cereal bar and fruit to work, I am *slightly* hungry now but afraid to eat, especially my standard cereal and milk (not sure about dairy right now).

I am itching to get moving. Maybe I will go for a nice walk when I get home if I feel up to it. And if the weather cooperates - it's very foggy now.

I posted late yesterday, this weekend got away from me. I find i get a bit depressed with what's going on..need to get over that.

Robin, very nice workout, no wonder your butt hurts! You've got BD-butt drama :)

Katie, sorry you're feeling crappy (i didnt mean that)..you can often figure out what it was by thinking about what you had and never wanting to eat it again! A walk sounds great!

Kate, is the dentist appointment today? How adorable. Do you have a good dentist that will make all the difference. I was telling my mom about you on the weekend, and she was so cute, like Mike worried about you on the RT. I said we'd keep an eye on you!

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been doing well with my eating most of the time. I still allow a daily non-clean treat. (It helps me from over eating) My workouts have been going very well! :) I'm loving the Boot Camp class I'm teaching; it's quite fun! Wish you all could join us. :)

Angie, Welcome to the group. I check in the least and I think eat the least clean. I always joke and say I shouldn't check in here. ;)I eat a variety of food in moderation, most of the time. My vice is baked goods. I do not like greasy food. My meals are typically clean always tidy. After dinner is when I seem to want a not so good for you snack. It's more of a habit rather than actually being hungry. Oh, I'm working on portion control too. I've been working out to Cathe since 2000. I only recently started posting semi regularly. I lurked off and on for many years. I enjoy a variety of instructors and am also a personal trainer and like my own workouts too.

Steph, (((HUGS))) I'm here for you if you need to talk. Did you ever get my pm?

Katie, I hope you don't have food poisoning. Don't over do it at work.

Kate, Please post more pictures of your growing belly. It sounds like you're doing so well. I'm so proud of you! :)

Thanks, Katie, but I feel HUGE! I know its my pg belly and its normal but I see such a loss of definition in my arms and I am really bummed because they've always been pretty defined. STS post-baby though, right? Good luck at court!! Hope you get your walk in.

Steph, Not going so good with Christian huh? (((big hugs))) That's sweet of your mom to worry about me! Now I've got people worried about me from other countries! LOL! Mike was talking last night about RT and worried that I'll be doing too much - I reassured him that you gals will be keeping a close eye on me! Great WO for you! Hope the day goes well for you.

Kate, good luck with the dentist. My mom told me I wouldn't open my mouth when I went to the dentist for the first time. My parents have all kinds of tooth problems so I probably overhead something.
Steph, sorry the weekend wasn't better {{{HUGS}}}. I bet the RT will be a nice minivaction from everything.
Robin, good job with PLB. Hope the DOMS aren't too bad.

This week's rotation will be 4DS with longer cardio if I get on time. I slept in this morning, but hopefully I can get up earlier the rest of the week. I have training most of the day and I hope it isn't too boring.

Colleen, Your rotation sounds wonderful.How can you stop at half a larabar??? amazing willpower! I've never had succotash before.... LOL at your dentist-drama! Gina does great, it's wily little Bella who's the wild card! Hopefully the PF Chang's bribery works!!

I've been getting tons of work stuff done. DDs are playing so nicely in here, but I'm sure it won't last long so I'd better go!

Good afternoon ladies,

Kate, I think I've decided to pre-order STS. Want to do it with me starting Jan 1? That gives you time to recover! I am sure there will be a lot of people starting Jan 1!

Today has not been so great. Seems like when I get frustrated with my kids, I overeat. They wouldn't eat their lunches and I just got stressed out and the phone/doorbell kept ringing. I made my 3 year old (Annabel) take a nap and she's sleeping longer than my 2 year old (Ellie) did. So, anyway, all that to say, I had a few too many chocolate covered almonds but not horrible. I'm finishing up some frozen "healthy" meals because I feel bad about throwing them away and wasting money so I had one for lunch.

Yesterday's WO was 4DS Boot camp/Bi&Tri - I also completed the challenge with my 25 pushups and situps. I have been doing WOs in the morning but DH and I are going to start trying to do them at night. We'll see how it goes. It might help me to not eat so much for dinner since it will be so late!

So, tonight will be LIS/shoulders/calves/core. I'll be thankful when I have some other options to choose from. :)

KD (kid drama) will do it to ya all the time. Angie I have two kids and sometimes they drive me to eat chocolate and drink rum ;-)
LIS will burn off those extra calories.

Katie I hope your tummy feels better soon. Just think you are resting your muscles and then you'll bounce back in no time.

Hey ladies, quick check in, my best friend is upstairs giving Collin a bath so I have a small break.

Angie, it's great to have you joining the check in! I am Katie -- 26 years old, mother to a 3 year old son (Collin) and married for about 6 weeks to my wonderful DH, Chris. I am a case manager for an alcohol and drug program, live in Harrisonburg, VA. I do the best I can with clean eating -- for me, I love lots of things that are unclean, so I may not eat "clean" in the minds of some, but it is a major adjustment for me.

Shirl, great to see you again! Come back whenever you can! I agree with Kate, I wish I could join you for BC class!

GREAT NEWS -- I ate dinner and kept it down/in!!! (sorry if that was TMI) The last meal I ate, and stayed with me, was lunch on Saturday. Dinner was very very clean, but my bf brought me a piece of apple pie and vanilla ice cream and I did eat that. The pie was made from scratch -- that makes it sorta clean, right?:9

I don't feel guilty, I need those calories to support my workouts, which I WILL get back to tomorrow!

Only 20 minutes until the finale of the Bachelorette -- I can't wait! I'm hooked on this show!!

My day has been pretty good.
I'm going to try and get up early and get my workout in. I'm doing a different job this week so I have to be in earlier. I have my lunch and snacks packed for tomorrow.

Angie, Jan 1 it is! I love your DDs names, btw! Very pretty! Hey, the almonds have protien!;-) Do you and DH workout together? I'm usually an evening exerciser (8-9PM) but since DDs are on summer vaca I've been able to fit some in the daytime latley which is really nice! Great WO's for you! I really like the 4DS series.

Robin, Isabel is a fake-shy kid and was pretending to be scared (she is the ultimate stinker) but she did fantastic and said she was proud of herself! She is such a nut and exactly like me - it's scary. Hope your pizza was good!

Katie, Nice to miss out on bathmax!!! I always have hated bathing my girls! So glad they can do most of it on their own now. Glad you're feeling better - and fruit pies are def. on the cleaner side of desertland! Have a fun Bachelorette time! Watching it with bf while DH outs Ds to sleep!?

Jenn, ^5 on prepping for tomorrow's food! I thought of you tonight - our PO is now closed from 11:30 to 1230!!!! I couldn't believe it! That is when TONS of people GO to the post office! Does yours do this?

Eats were great today - did well out to dinner. All of us split one slice of choc. cake for desert so damage from that was minimal. Then I went on an hour walk with my sisters after I got DDs to bed. So PUB & a walk today - feelin' good!

can't wait for RT!!!!!!!!!
 
Whew! Got LIS/Shoulders/Calves/Core in. Sometimes that one goes on forever and the shoulder work with the bands just kills me!

Kate, you went to PF Chang's right? I love that place. What did you get there that was good? DH and I don't workout together (like he'd ever do Cathe... he wouldn't even try P90X!) He goes to the gym but is talking of a bowflex.

Katie, I wish I could have joined in for the apple pie!

Jenn, someday I imagine I'll be organized enough to prepare food in advance. :)
