Well, I hope the weekend didn't do you all in. If it did, it's never too late to get back on track. I did pretty well. Managed to avoid apple dumplings by sending leftovers home with my DD's boyfriend. Had a delish concoction of 7 grain pilaf, onions, tomatos and kidney beans for dinner last night while everyone else ate pizza.
Today:
B - steel cut oats w/ brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon and soy milk and banana
L - 7 grain pilaf and bean concoction, carrots, yogurt
D - spaghetti, salad, ONE slice bread (I mean ONE)
S - grapes, small piece chocolate
64-80 0z water
HSTA on the schedule for today's workout.
Have a lovely, clean day

Welcome Lynn. The ranks here have seemed to slimmed. This challenge has really helped keep me honest with my food choices.

Diana I would really like to know how you get the weight tracker on your reply. I was able to get it on my first post after reading the directions on another posting but I don't know how to get it on future postings.

Thanks,
Lynn

Whatever you copied and pasted into your post that you managed to get it on, you have to copy and paste that information into your signature block in your profile.:)

Robin thanks for the welcome. What challenge are you involved in and why do you think that the ranks have slimmed down?

I look forward to future postings. I knew that I would eventually jump in and hook up with someone or someones.......

Shelley I must tell you (and I am sure that you have heard it before), your Limecat is the funniest thing that I have ever seen. Every time I see him I crack up.........hummmmmmmmmm tells me alot about your personality :7 !!! He is also someone that I could have too......

I think she means THIS challenge, the clean eating challenge. And we started off with WAY more people posting, but they're dropping like flies:)

Glad you like Limecat. He does make people smile!

Shelley's right, Lynn. This challenge seemed to start out with alot more posters. Maybe they all get up later in the day than Shelley and I. Or maybe they gave up after having a "bad day." I find having to post my food choices to people living in Canada, TX, OH, and where ever else helps keep me honest. I just may continue it for the rest of my life...

Hi Ladies! Just dropping in to say I haven't had time to post lately but I have been eating clean every day. I even went to the book store this week-end and bought a new "healthy eating" cookbook! I made a yummy asparagus stir fry with ginger last night and Saturday I baked portabella mushrooms with fresh tomato and garlic and olive oil drizzled over and served that with baked chicken. My husband is even beginning to enjoy eating clean! This is what I'm eating today:

B-turkey w/tomato and broccoli (I know! for breakfast? Yuck!)
S-Laughing Cow light cheese in celery, grapes, almonds
L-Spinach salad with tuna, peas, tomato and ff mozz cheese
S-cottage cheese, apple, hard-boiled egg
D-Chicken breast with aspiration (broccolini)
S-yogurt

I'm going to Whole Foods Market tomorrow to look for some new food!

Have a great day! Pennie

Happy Monday -

I didn't post over the weekend - but here I am again. :) I did have a cheat Saturday for sure. Between the awesome meal and some adult beverages. But overall I have been eating very well.

Today is:

B - Egg Beaters, WW English Muffin, Simply Fruit Jam
S - Banana & Nut Oatmeal, Protein Shake
L - Salad of some sort - thinking Subway
S - PB & J on WW (like Shelly - I am on a total PB kick right now)
D - Chicken and veggies.

I need to hit the store and get some other things to mix up the diet. It helps to see what other are eating to come up with something new.

Happy Eating!

Well, after a weekend full of carbs, i am back on track. I only had ONE brownie and 1 1/2 cookies all weekend, even though i was surrounded by junk, so i am not feeling too guilty. My biggest sin was a super-duper giganto pumpkin spice latte(my first ever!) that was so devine!! i thik i burned it off dancing though:)

so today:

b-egg whites and turkey bacon
l-turkey sandwhich on ww bread with hummus
s-green apple and protein bar
d-chicken breast with sweet potato and greens

Much better!

Hey Jes, I checkout your pictures and must say that your pups are adorable. I have a Lapsa Apso and he is so spoiled that it ain't funny. Figure that I can't or shouldn't spoil the two legged children but I can certainly spoil the four legged ones.........

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh on the challenge. It reminds me of the internet group that I was a part of from Feb. to just recently, a support group thingy and like most things it started with a huge boom but as time went it faded to the point where there isn't one email from anyone. Sad but that is the way it is.

Oh well I do hope that most come back and stick with it. I know that it helps me to be part of a group with the same goals. I will confess that doing this during the upcoming holiday season isn't the easiest but it can be done.

Lynn

After very bad food choices for a week on vacation, today is day #2 back to clean eating. Amazing how much better I feel!

I'm guilty of not posting because...well...I haven't been eating too well lately x( . The evenings are my weak spot. Today was a lot better:

B: 1 egg/2egg white omelet w/brocolli, ham, salsa
S: small bowl of GoLean, 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
L: sandwich (whole wheat bread), carrots
S: yogurt, apple
D: Healthy Choice soup, peas, Kashi granola bar
S: Kiwi

Hope I'm starting on getting back on track for good (or at least until I see a bowl of "Puppy Chow" over the holidays :) )

Lisa

Thanks Lynn! Those are my babies:D

i stuck with me planned eating today without deviation:)) feels much better than being stuffed full of junk;-)
