Clean Eating Challenge Check-In - November 2, 2005

This is my big calorie day on zigzagging....


Br - oatmeal with blueberries, Egg Beaters and 1 pc WW toast, coffee

Sn - Chocolate PB banana protein smoothie

Ln - Southwestern chicken tortilla, Lg apple and 1 T PB

Sn - 1/2 cup lf cottage cheese and small apple

Dn - Italian Turkey sausage and penne pasta, Lg salad with light dressing
 
Here's what my day is looking like:

b-Brown Rice Grits with ground flaxseed, flaxseed oil and chocolate protein powder.
s-crackers and hummus
l-salmon salad,almonds, pear
s-elev8me bar(fruits and whey protein)
d-some kind of protein and a big salad
s-yogurt, applesauce

Good morning Ladies .Becky You sound like me at the moment . That darn candy corn !!! LOL Ok I ate some two days in a row and in the Eve ..I almost got thru the day LOL . I have my food journal going though ,and to look at it I so have trouble the Week/few days before .TTOM.I feel relief now that I started today .But bummed cuz I'm so irritable .Oh The food journal really 'Snaps " me out of it .Fast !!!! LOLToday clean eating all day .I will report back if I have a tuff time ... Thanks ladies .:) :) :) :) :) :)
 
I just had a tastey snack...

low fat cottage cheese,applesauce, a little splenda to taste and some kashi go lean cereal for the crunch-factor all mixed up together in a bowl and eaten with a spoon...YUM! :9

For those of you who are not fond of cottage cheese...I love it but let me tell you, I did not even taste it!!!

snack-applesause, protein bar and 1/2 bag of popcorn(unfortunately i grabbed the healthy kind by accident and it wasn't very good):p

dinner: ground turkey meatballs with mushroom gravy, brownrice and cabbage:9 that chili is gonna end up wasted i fear;-)

Doing okay again today!!! I like this check-in alot!!!

B - egg white omelet with green tomatoes and broccoli
multigrain toast
S - banana
L - Yogurt with raisin bran
D - Planned - 6 oz. Tilapia (is this too much???)
Sweet Potato
Broccoli - 2 cups

Hopefully, nothing else. We can only hope!!
 
Hi everybody. I don't have a lot of time to type everything I ate, but it was pretty clean in general. I do have to find a way to drink some water though. I'll try my best tomorrow.
 
I have found I have to post later in the day because what I say I am going to eat isn't what always happens.


B-Kashi Go lean crunch

L-ham sandwich
s-tablespoon of chocolate chips(I know)
d-chicken breasts with brocolli and steamed rice
s-yet to be determined

I did pretty well, for me!!

B--toast with a little PB and a tiny bit of OJ
L--potato soup with a few crackers
S--power bar (South Beach, I think)
D--out with the kids to Big Boy and I had 2 pieces of cheese/chicken quesadilla, not the best, but also not a burger and fries!!

dessert was 2 bites of the hot fudge ice cream cake that the kids split (I only had 2 bites!!...that is really good for me!)

I am about to have another piece of toast, since I have to eat something before I can take the antibiotic that I am on (sinus infection :( )
