oh, I slept good last night! Not long enough, but good! Julia slept from 10p-5a. Nursed and back to sleep. Gotta get Gina ready for school now..

I am way discouraged. I am feeling like I'm leaning out and when I got up this morning I thought I looked noticeably thinner. Well, I weighed myself.:mad: I WEIGH THE EXACT SAME THING AS A WEEK AGO!:mad: I am not pleased!:eek: Guess I keep "cleanin' it up"!:confused:

ugh - Mike bought 2% milk. I cannot drink that stuff!

I had a ww eng. muffin instead w/ a little pb and some apple slices on top.
It was okay, but I miss my cereal!!!!!

oh, and WO won't be til later.
My best friend, who lives in Iowa, is coming to town this morning and stopping by! I'm so excited! She had a baby a month before Julia so we get to play baby-show-and-tell!
 
2% milk -- GAG me!! I couldn't do it either, Kate! And PS, on the looking-thinner-but-scale-is-not-moving thing, YOU KNOW that it is because you are lifting. C'mon, Kate, you know that. Your weight workouts are pretty serious lately, and that's going to change your shape but not necessarily your weight. PUT THE SCALE AWAY for awhile!!

Ran out of time to start the check in before my wo -- sorry! But I did my first cardio since The Crud -- BM2 combos and power circuits (minus the lb weights). I was a complete sweaty mess afterwards. Only had to stop once to blow my nose, haha!

I did do the KB workout last night (about 45 minutes) and I am on the fence. I like the concept a lot, but the instructor in the dvd is very annoying and boring. The workout moved pretty slow, too.

Menu was totally clean yesterday, today will be the same!

I hope you can find a good Kb workout. Good job on the cardio! That one is so much fun! ^5 on the eats too! We're all doing so good lately!
Did your work get another case worker yet? or is your work load still crazy?

Kate just keep doing whatyou are doing and the # will drop off. I agree with Katie weight work will cause you to retain a little water.

Katie I usually jog in place between sets for the Go-Fit DVDs. I guess we are use to Cathe nonstop circiuts but on the new STS she takes similar breaks. Lime Green bell :D how do your shoulders feel today?

My w/o k-bell vol 2 and maybe a walk around the park.

robin, the kb queen!, i think you're the only responsible one here doing your 1rm's! and, i agree, cathe spoils us! tx for the encouragement too!

yahooooooooo!!!!! i got (most of) my wo dne! got gina on the bus, made isabel some popcorn to keep her busy and got my leg work done!!! just as i was finishing, julia woke up! nursemax now to continue the calorie burn! i hope i have time to shower before compny comes!:eek:

So, I'm in a total funk. Didn't work out yesterday and ate nothing but a bunch of junk. The stress of the holidays combined with the crummy weather is totally getting to me. I don't feel like getting out of my pajamas, much less working out. Sigh. Sorry to dump on you guys, I just needed to vent. I need to take Nevena to her class in a few and hit the grocery store this afternoon. Hopefully I can motivate myself to do something later-S&H Legs and abs.

Kate, have a great day with your GF! My BF lives outside of Toronto. We talk everyday though-she has Vonage:) And she comes home every few months to visit. Don't worry about what the scale says. Go by how you look and feel-which I know is great:)

Katie, can you find a KB instructor in your area? I want to get some dvds, too. But I thought I'd try a class first before I buy all the equipment and then decide it's not for me. Good job on working out through the crud:)

Ladies I'm debating on how and when I'm going to start up again 1rm. I don't even remember where I left off. I may just guest-a-mate at which weights to use based upon what I've done so far.

I finished my w/o and now I'm very hungry. I only ate aZone bar for b-fast. I'm going to eat a good lucnh or I'll be in trouble later on.

Slump two

Klaudia - you REALLY made my day just now reading your post! Those were my feelings exactly and I think it's because of all the holidays/weather conundrum! Also because like Kate - I worked out alot this month and gained. Even though I had thanksgiving and behaved pretty good, I have been doing more weights to get ready for STS. So, I'll chalk it up to gaining muscle because I really do feel much stronger.

So, I ban the scale! I only weigh in first of the month usually for my Cathe calendar check-in (sometimes 12/31 because I know 1/1 is not going to be good! :p)

I just told my hubby this morning I was in the dumps and I said it was because I haven't worked out this week as much. I always feel better once I do so I did do some legs this a.m. for 1/2 hr.

So, girls, let's help support each other - get the serotonin and the endorphins moving again!!:D

Remember, if we ordered STS - it'll be here before you know it then we'll have no excuses!!

got to have a short but sweet visit w/ my gf. they drove 10 hours w/ a 2-yo and a 3-mon. old!! crazy!!!!

I had that tree for 11 years...oh well. I guess it's time for a new one.

kate, i am with everyone else. ditch the scale!! are you clothes fitting better and better? check! you are taking care of yourself. the numbers wreck havoc with our minds. you are strong and doing great! (now remind me i said that later:))

well, i got up and did 60 min on the elliptical and abs. had to tend to babe twice, but i still got done. work is going well, other than mega family drama on e mail. makes me feel ill. i have had really good eats other than 3 extra handfuls of nuts and 2 mini bite sized 3 muskateers at lunch while reading family e ail drama. anyways, hope dh is home tonight. good news is, foot feels fine despite being on it all day. oh i wish i could ignore dr's orders and go for a super long run. that is what helps me with family drama!

morris, sorry about the fam drama. is it your folks? you did good not over-eating. i was kind of stressed tonight and ate *some* peanut butter... that stuff is so addicting!

katie, good for you! and lol at collin! thats a nightly occurence over here! i can hardly wait til julias in on it!

Busy day. I had an early meeting downtown with my client and then back to work (about 45 minutes away), catch up, and get things done b4 my week out of the office. I am off tomorrow and then in training next Mon through Thurs.
