Clean and Tidy Sat July 28

Welcom back Lori! Glad you had a great time. I'm tempted to go super clean with you, but I know I couldn't do it :( It just doesn't fit into my lifestyle. My heart says yes, but reality says no. Sigh!

Stephanie - how is your back?

Here's yesterday's menu:

B - oatmeal w/choc soy milk
S - pear
L - salad w/grilled salmon;plain yogurt w/a mix of crushed almonds,cinnamin, and pumpkin spice (it was really good)
S - apple
D - DH and I went out - grilled chicken salad w/balsamic vinegar;small piece of bread(couldn't resist)
S - the bad part :eek: - the whole fam went to the movies to see the Simpson's and I had to have popcorn - alittle too much I'm afraid!

Good morning all!
Phyllis-we also went to see the Simpson's movie and I ate more popcorn than I planned for sure. it was fun though!
Todays workout will be MIS and 300 lunges
B-coffee so far, probably some yogurt
L-salad with lime cilantro vinagrette
D-we are going out.YIKES

I have decided to pull out Tosca's book again, I need some redirection.
Phyllis-that yogurt mixture for lunch yesterday looks great!
 
Good morning Clean Eaters!! I did Drill Max this morning, love that workout! It's just plain fun!!

Liquids ~ 40 oz water, cup of hazelnut coffee (my fav!)

Breakfast ~ Usual oatmeal + berries

Snack ~ Yogurt + berries

And not sure on the rest of the day yet. Meeting my Mom w/ the girls at the zoo and then to a minor league baseball game tonight. And then we'll just head on & stay at my Mom's for a couple days. I've already packed my oatmeal and Kashi in bags and she usually has some healthy choices at her house. (she knows my clean eating habits! LOL) Although we always seem to eat out more- going to visit relatives, my Dad usually takes us to breakfast, etc. So... I'll be as clean as I can!! ;-) Have a great weekend!!
 
Phyllis - I will have to try that yogurt recipe. It sounds delicious.
Lori - I live outside of DC and I think I have only had crabs once this year, but they were good. Hopefully, we'll have crabs a couple more times this year :)

Here's the plan for today:

W/O: PLB up and 2nd half of Step Sweatfest (and I was sweating)

B: oatmeal w/ almonds
S: banana
L: BLT w/ salad, apple
S: Phyllis' yogurt recipe
D: Shrimp Jambalaya

Thanks so much for asking about my troubled back!! I think its hamstring pulling into back. I wish i could just rest, but like so many of us, i push it. our physio told me to stretch it, and stretch out the hamstrings, so i've been doing that.

The Simpsons movie looks great, can you believe they have been on the air for 18 seasons!

Well, so far, only breakfast and recovery bar eaten. I'm gonna hope for a tidy day!
workout, Jari, S&L, Criss cross cardio, and Kim Spreen Abs.
I will check back later, i'll miss you all if i dont :)

Good Afternoon All

I had to go grocery shopping after my w/o and breakfast. Today I did Low max and core max.

Yesterday I fell all the way off the wagon; I didn't even drink water:-( .You see I took my kids to work with me, plus that unhealthy cake-sale...I did complain that they did not have anything healthy.

Today I'm back on my clean eating plan, already drank 30 oz of water.:)

B- Egg whites and Canadian bacon
S- light yogurt and wheat germ
L- turkey sandwish on whole wheat
S- light popcorn
D- chicken tacos with lettice and tomatoes

I brought some Golean Waffles, but what do I put on top of them. Syrup has too many calories.
 
Good morning, ladies!
Hope you're all having a good weekend. I've been eating fairly clean this week, but my plantar fasciitis has flared up again in a mean way. On Monday, I did Imax 2, and my foot was in pain the rest of the day. Didn't try cardio again until Thursday, and I suffered through Cardio Fusion. The foot has been on fire since Thursday due to the stepping. I guess I'll have to find another cardio method for a while. I think walking outdoors wouldn't hurt my pf, but I get bored with it and am spoiled by Cathe's workouts! If anyone has any suggestions about exercising with pf, I'd love to hear them. I've already bought shoes with major support, and I stretch my foot constantly. It's so frustrating to not be able to work out like I want to. I'll just have to really clean up my eating while I'm taking it easy! Thanks for listening to me pout!! Enjoy your weekend.

Valerie - Oh, you poor thing, I hope that gets better soon!

Stephanie - As hard as it is you might want to take it easy for a bit to let that hammy settle down. You wouldn't want to be sidelined for the RT ;(.

Yesterday started great and finished abysmally. My SO surprised me at work and we went to get ice cream. I only had the "small" cone but it was still gigantic. I was good though and forced myself to do LowMax (with A-Jock's 8lb DB suggestion) even though I was dog tired after work. I sat down and had a great dinner and then binged horribly after that on stuff that I am embarrassed to even type...angel food cake, whipped cream, PB, my SO's leftover calzone x( x( x(! I can't stand when I do that! I have a great week, been seeing results and then I go and throw it all away. I've got to get a handle on this :-(.

So I started fresh today. Imax 2 on an 8" step and super clean and portion controlled...

B - spinach and mushroom omelette
S - steel cut oats and blueberries
L - salad with shrimp, celery with 1 tablespoon nat PB, cherries
S - tomatoes with basil and balsamic, banana
D - last of the jerk chicken, steamed broccoli, mashed plantains, plain yogurt with blueberries

And I'm not eating anything else tonight!

Sorry for the rant. I just get extremely frustrated with myself when I do s#!t like that. Thanks for listening..
