Sorry, I know this isn't fitness related, unless Clay makes your heart beat faster!!! Ha! Clay Aiken & Gwyneth Paltrow will be on Primetime Thursday (ABC) w/Diane Sawyer tonight. It will be televised at 10:00 PM EST. I'm curious to see what he is up to. I know his first album is to be released within the next week or so. Just thought some of you hear would like to watch!

I saw the commercial for this interview and he mentions his sister's suicide. Looked sad. I'm sure Diane Sawyer talks about his new album too, but that was all they showed advertising the show.

I KNOW !!!!!!! I don't care what anyone thinks of me saying this ... :D but this almost 46 year old mom thinks Clay is TOO adorable!! LOL!! I have to work tonight, but I'm going to tape the segment of Primetime!!

I didn't know his sister committed suicide! Poor thing. That's really sad. I knew that his father was abusive and that he's petrified of water. Wonder what kind of torture his father may have inflicted on him that may have involved water . . . .

I'm from Clay's hometown (RALEIGH!!!), and he actually lives not too far away from us! He worked at the Y that my brothers went to. Quite exciting for little 'ol Raleigh! :7

He does seem to be a very sweet person ......

How sad! I never heard anything about that happening to his sis. Carol, this gal is almost 51 and I think he is absolutley adorable! I love his singing too. Some of my students think I am nuts. He is just cute in his own way. They did a great make-over on him since he first appeared and I really like his new look, blonde hair and all. Okay, I'll quit, for you NON-Clay fans! Thanks Kathryn, I thought we could post about things on our mind. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

LOL! Thanks Debbie!! I'm glad I'm not the only "approaching menopause" babe who thinks this kid is a hottie!! LOL!! I just got home from work, and will have to wait until tomorrow to watch the taped segment. That is very sad about his sister. I didn't know that until I read the posts here. When does his album come out??? Anyone ????

Hi Carol!

His album comes out next Tuesday the 14th. (According to Diane Sawyer) Wow, I was totally in shock all that he has been thru as a kid. He sure has come out shining with a smile on his face.

Psst, don't tell my husband but I think Clay is just addddorrrabllee!!!! He also seems like such a sweet guy. I knew about the father but with his sister also, wow he has had some really tough times in his young life. I think he is very talented and I hope he has a great long career in whatever he chooses. It seems like his heart was really into teaching. I also think its sweet how much he adores his mom and is so devoted to her. He seems very grounded.

I agree, tooo adorable! He works with autistic (sp.?) children. That takes a VERY special person. He does seem very grounded and I am just so happy to see how far he's come this past year after a lifetime of so much chaos. Great to "see" you here. How are you feeling? How soon is that lil' angel due???

I missed this too which normally I have the VCRs all ready to tape good Tv like this but idiid not know any of this When did his sister die? I saw on friday night Barabara Walters was interviewing Courtney Cox and David Arquette I have that on tape to watch when i come home from work sat afternoon

Hi Debbie,

Yes, he does work with autistic children. IN fact it was one of the mothers of the kids he works with who submitted him or talked him into auditioning for american idol. He has such a great voice also. My DH thinks he is very dorky looking but ahhh, what does he know.

My baby Emily is going to come on 12/1. I know the birthdate because my first 2 labors were VERY fast so my Dr. induced my 3rd child and he will induce me this time also. Its really great for me knowing the end is in very close sight. This is my 4th baby (and will be my last!) in 6 years and I'm just tired of being pregnant.

So I only have 7 weeks left until I meet my little girl :) I can't wait. Then after a 4-6 week break I'll be back to this side of the forums. I have been banned from workouts due to some complications I've had but I come over here to lurk sometimes. I am expecting my new Cathe DVDs and step topper hopefully this week and I am just going to be drooling over them and watching from the couch until I can use them again.

Our hubby's opinion of Clay sound the same but my hubby knows I think he's cute anyway!

Awww, only 7 weeks to go? Easy for me to say, right? What a blessing to have 4 lil' ones. Turst me, in no time will they be little any more. It goes by in a flash. Sorry to hear you had to give up your workouts for the time being. It is worth it all now to have a healthy lil' angel and a healthy YOU! Keep us posted. Can't wait to hear your story in 7 more weeks!
