I just watched the trailer for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I can't wait to see the movie! I just blew the dust off my old book and I'm going to read it today just to refresh my memory. Anyone else plan to see the movie?

Michele:)

I'm SO excited to see this. It looks absolutely amazing. Sophie and I have watched the trailer about 200 times:p The effects are being done by the same people who did the effects for LOTR, so they should be incredible. Aslan looks beautiful, just as he should. And the White Witch is being played by Tilda Swinton, an amazing British actress. It should be fantastic!

You're right, Shelley. It does look AMAZING!! I loved LOTR, too. Tolkein and C. S. Lewis--it doesn't get much better than that! They've done an excellent job of translating these great books onto the silver screen.

I just love that they are making this into a movie! I read the series to my daughter a long time ago (back when she was young enough to read to). We really enjoyed them. I'm so excited to see this movie, too!

Yes, I plan on seeing this movie. DS and DD are both excited. I never read the books, but remember seeing the PBS series years ago. I still have to get to the new Harry Potter movie too.

Ooooooh yes!!! I've seen the trailor about 100 times also, lol and it looks spectacular!! I've never read the book so I must now head over to my nearest Borders to get my hands on a copy!!

I plan to see this movie as well (in addition to Harry Potter). I loved reading this entire series as a child. Just gotta see this film as it looks AMAZING!!!

It is a classic! I am going to take the kids to see it after I read them my book. I saw the trailer when I saw Pride and Prejudice on Sunday and the graphics look awesome!

OMG, I loved it!!! I laughed and cried and at times I wanted to yell. I thought Kiera Knightly did a great job! And although I love Colin Firth from the A&E P&P, I thought this guy did something a little better, I can't figure it out; I think maybe the chemistry was better between the two leads. I loved Judy Dench (but then again, when don't I?) and Mrs. Bennett was great! The actor that played Mr. Cooper deserves an award, I thought he captured him perfectly! I was happy that all my favorite scenes in the book were in the movie, though I would have loved to have seen Lady Katherine scold Mr. Cooper. There was something about the ending that did disappoint me, though. I wish they would have created a scene were Mr. Darcy was asking for Lizzy's hand from Mr. Bennett. But overall, I loved it! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up from me and I have been recommending it to everyone. I am trying to make time to read the book again sometime this week, it has been far too long since I read it last... like three years or something. What did you think???
