......continues talking to self.......

Hey, I have to share this you because I know you all will appreciate it. I went yard saleing on Saturday and got 90# of weight plates for $30. I am set now!:D

This morning I did LIC Cardio Premix and ab work with included bench crunches and an attempt at Rocky abs. Even the attempt fired my core. Workout was 58 minutes and I burned 400 calories. Right shoulder is still bugging me from Monday's Kettlebells, I wanted to do Kickbox today but didn't think it was worth the risk.

Hey Linda...I'm here so you're no longer talking to yourself;) Woo Hoo on finding those weights!! Speaking of steals, I went to my Grandma's senior building last night for National Night Out. They were have a big rummage sale and I picked up a 2 seated glider for $15, and patio table with 4 chairs for $25. This was high quality stuff that was recently replaced with new. I had to make 3 trips back and forth to get everything home. Now, if I can only figure out how I'm going to get it all up to the cabin:confused:

I went on my 22 miler with my bike this morning and shaved 2 minutes off my time!! I even had to stop more often for cars and a phone call from DD:) Burned 627 calories in 1 hour 43 minutes.

Catherine- Whatcha up to today? Have you recovered from the RT? I heard on gal broke her ankle during a step w/o. Was she part of your group?

I had planned to do CCV8 last night but got home and had no power :( It finally came back on at 11. Today I have some sort of stomach bug and won't be working out either

Linda, very nice find at the yard sale!!

Judi, what's on for you today?

Judi - Way to go on the bike ride!!! Also sweet deal on the pation furniture. Sure could use that at my house. Had a cookout on Memorial Day and half way through set up I looked at DH and said "so where are we gonna eat?" We have no outdoor furniture!:p

Catherine- How you feeling today? Hope your better.

Okay, I am trying not to push myself hard all week long so that I can feel somewhat rested to start STS next week, so this morning I did Amy's 10 Minute Solution Tone Trouble Zones Band Workout. But I only got through the first 3 sections (Upper body, Lower body & Total Body) before I was completely bored. So I did Intervals 6-10 of IMAX2.

I am mad today, because I feel like I have been eating well and my weight has not budge. I am trying desperately not to let it send me into some stupid binge.

Linda, you are doing so good with your rest week :p I know how hard it's been :)

I am better today. My tummy was still a bit wonky this morning but ok this evening. I did CCV8 when I got home and it almost killed me. My eating has not been sufficient the last couple of days and I didn't have my afternoon snack. So I almost hit the wall LOL

Judi, do you feel safe biking on the streets? I have thought about taking it up but I am just way to afraid to ride on the road around here :(

Boy, I just realized that I've hit over 2,000 posts. I know, I know, I am still just a babe in the woods compared to you Catherine.!:p

Catherine, glad to hear you are feeling better. Nice job on CC8 with no fuel.

Yesterday, I finished up Meso 1 for the second time. I don't know if I want to go onto Meso 2 or do something else. I've been feeling wiped out the last few days so next week I'm going to try to keep it light with yoga & easier cardio.

Catherine- I bike on the Gateway trail which runs through the whole state. I only encounter cars when I have to cross a street that the trail runs through. Majority of the trail runs through wooded areas and is beautiful. I don't like riding on streets either.

Linda- Are you taking a recovery week before you start Meso 2? I did my chin ups yesterday without the band so I could work on negatives. I had to give myself a boost up, then came down slowly. My lats are crying today!

I'm going to the race track tonight. DH is throwing a big party for his customers and bunch of us are going. My FIL is minority owner of Canterbury Park and has 2 horses running tonight so that should be fun. Unfortunately, it is raining but at least we will be in a sheltered area.

Judi, have fun at the track this evening. I know what you mean about STS. I keep thinking I'm gonna restart and can not bring myself to do it LOL!!

I need to workout today sometime,........

Judi - I am doing an active rest week. I restart STS on Monday.

What ya doing Catherine?

Just a quick check in due to the hour. Spent the day at the beach with family and niece & nephew. Did CC2 revised outside this morning. Boy, I suck at running. Workout was 45 minutes and I burned 400 calories (well, actually 399 but I refuse to write that!:p)

Morning.

Wanted to do something this morning, but did not want to be in my workout room, so that when I return there on Monday to start Meso 2 I will feel like I had a break, so I headed back outside this morning and did CC4. I have a serious love/hate relationship going with Coach Sean.:p Workout was 50 minutes and I burned 466 calories. Gonna go check the miles in a few minutes.

I don't know if I am still recovering from my tummy bug on Wed or what. Yesterday I could not motivate to do anything. This morning I did C&W in it's entirety and it kicked my butt. Isn't that supposed to be an easy w/o?? My foot seemed to do ok and I am still modifying but I was soaked in sweat and exhausted by the end:( I really wanted to do a KB workout and some chinups. Can you imagine what that would've done-DH probably would have to call 911.

Linda, I didn't know you ran  I hear ya on the love/hate relationship with Sean;)

Catherine, sorry to hear you are still not quite feeling like yourself. I have those days where something easy seems really challenging and not only after I have been sick.

I don't run. I hate running and only do it every once in a while, so I suck at it. I love Sean because he a least makes it more bearable. And I hate Sean because he pushes me so hard at something I suck at. I love Sean because he makes feel accomplished by the end. I hate Sean because he leaves me feeling completely wiped out and feeling like I want to puke!:p
I will have to admit that I am currently considering keeping the running in my rotation at least once a week.

LOL, this sounds exacty how I feel with the stationary bike :p

Catherine, sorry to hear you are still not quite feeling like yourself. I have those days where something easy seems really challenging and not only after I have been sick.

Come to think of it, I got little sleep last weekend on the RT. We'd be up till around midnight and I'd toss and turn then get up finally at 5. That, combined with the long days and multiple workouts, (even though I was modifying) I am sure adds to my energy level. I have to have some excuse, right :p

Went for a very fast walk with my kids. DS on bike and pushing DD in stroller. Walk was 1:10 minutes about 4.5 miles and I burned 506 calories. Oh also mowed some lawn earlier too.;)

I'm taking the weekend off from working out since I was feeling wiped out after finishing Meso1. I plan to keep things light this week while I figure out if I want to continue with STS or move onto something else. My lats are still a little sore from the chins & pulls on Thursday:confused: I worked negatives so that switch really made an impact.

I forgot to tell you I won $17 on the last race on Friday. My FIL's horse was the longshot pick so I put $5 to show and he came in 3rd! I didn't do so well on the earlier races so I probably broke even.

Judi, I remember being exhausted with Meso 1 and things got better with Meso 2. You'll have to let us know what you decide to do. Congrats on the win!! It's so fun to win at the races!!!

I did CCPP on the stationary this morning. Now I am ready for a nap :p I need to do some chinups :( I am thinking of doing a 4DS rotation for the next month. I will probably have to modify some of the cardio, but we'll see. Foot seems better, but I don't want to push it. So I will be sticking with the bike and low impact moves :)

Hope you all have had a nice weekend!!

Just returned from a another walk. This time I took Coach Sean with me, CC5. I walked the whole thing except the last 4 30 second sprints. I was amazed at how high I was able to get my HR with just walking. Walk was 55 minutes and I burned 520 calories.
