I'm not sure if I did 7 or 8 10-ct negs because they're so hard I lost count! I'll put down 7 so if I do 9 next time, I'll be amazed at my speedy progress.
As far as regular chin-ups from a dead hang, I just pulled myself up to where I had a 90 degree angle in my arms, which is much better than usual. Funny, because I can pull myself all the way up when I start at a 90 degree angle, but I couldn't pull myself any farther when I got to that angle from a dead hang. Oh well, it's still progress. I think the 2-day rest is helping.
