Hi Ladies!
Let me first say how much I've enjoyed reading your posts!
Wanna hear something ironic? About 10 years ago, I was a double-D cup. I'd had large breasts since I was about 11 years-old (I think I was about that age -- I just know I hit puberty before all the other girls at my public school). Anyhow,I'd always hated having large breasts -- they were so cumbersome, uncomfortable and the bras left dents in my shoulders. I casually mentioned this to my sister who worked at a hospital, and she had a plastic surgeon set up an appointment for me for breast reduction. I asked for a B-cup size and got it. The happiest day in my life!
(Let me add that the operation was at no financial cost to me or I probably wouldn't have done it. At that time, breast reduction surgery was covered by health insurance (OHIP), so I thought, why the heck not go through with it?).
Four years after the operation I lost 42 lbs with Weight Watchers (I am now a Lifetime Member). Well, guess what? My boobs shrunk! I am now a smallish size A-cup. And you know what else? I still do not miss them! I love the fact that I can wear regular, non-support, comfortable cloth bras as gym tops and not have to have my breasts flying up into my face during my workouts. I also love going bra-less.
The fact that anyone would wish for larger breasts has always astounded me. But then again, those who have straight hair want curly, those who are short want to be tall (I'm only 5-ft, so I can identify with that!), etc.
Enough outta me -- glad to have that taken off my chest (heehee)! Have an AB-FAB day ladies! Once again, I've enjoyed reading all your posts.
