CHEETAHS ::: work it wednesday

Good evening Cheetahs!

The last two days have been dreadfully long. I can only muster up enough energy to say "HI!" and tell you guys that I've missed my Cheetah fix these past two days. I hope to catch up with everyone in the morning. I had to take a rest day this morning because I over slept a tiny bit and knew that it would be a good opportunity to get cracking on my cards, which I did get in the mail today so I guess that is something accomplished lol.

I did want to say thank you to Cathy for the warm welcome included in the card she sent me. It *SOOOOOOOOOO* brightened my evening!!!

Have a great night everyone and I'll "see" you all in the morning.

Hi Cheetahs!!

Cathy – You guys are truly making me want to take the clothes that I have hanging on my EXT off and using it! I may do that in the morning! I always do mine backwards the last 5 minutes or so of the workout, or off and on throughout the workout for a little while. It feels good to get the pressure off of certain muscles! Great workout! Thanks for the card!  Yes the premixes are great!

Sunny – Oooo! That sounds like a good premix! Haven’t tried that one yet! I love this series!

Lorie – Great workout yesterday, as well as today!! LOL…I have been wanting to ask who Linus was….but I wasn’t quite sure! He is sooo cute! He looks so sweet!

Lori – Why does your MIL keep tabs on how much you eat?? Grrr! My goodness, it sounds like you are tiny! Enjoy your workout!

Judy – I love to be outside in the snow! Especially at night! I agree, it is magical and sooo peaceful! I don’t blame you on bagging iTread for the snow and moonlight!

Wendy – Good job on the workouts! LOL…I remember the DOMS on that one all too well! ;)

Carole – That sounds like a great workout plan! That is good that your leg didn’t hurt on the EXT! I wonder what is doing it?

Kristi – I hope your DS is doing better and I hope that you don’t come down hard with something! I know how scary asthma can be with the little ones! It is horrible for adults, but doubly scary for little ones!

Susan – Did the Bickerson’s leave? ;) Glad your oldest is doing better! Sounds like a great workout that you have planned!

Shelly – Can you believe I haven’t even tried 4DS’s kickboxing cardio yet? But I am going to give it a try soon! It looks so fun! Enjoy the EXT!

Jackie – Looks like 2 cheetahs did iTread 13 sprints today! I love that one! Good job on the workout!

Thomasina – LOL….me thinks you do like your garage !!  Glad you got your Bosu! Enjoy it! Hmm….yes, let the elves give the Bosu to DH to hold! Enjoy your workout tonight!!

This morning I did 4DS's premix of All Upper Body and ran 3 miles. I loved doing the upper body all at one time! It was an upper body fryer!

Have a great night everyone!

Linda

Cathy,
Thank you for the wonderful card. I just love getting xmas cards!

Thomasina, I bet you cannot wait until your garage is all set up. It is so nice to have a place of your own to workout. I can't wait to see pics:)

Lorie, your little pup is SO cute! I just showed my girls of the one in the swing. They were oohing and ahhing:)

Lori, I also want to know why your MIL watches what you are eating. That woud drive me NUTS!!!

Linda, Yes, the bickersons all went to school and the house was nice and quiet.

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then did most of PUB and then abs. I will do biceps tomorrow.

See ya in the morning ladies!

Susan

Lorie!!! OMGOODNESS!! I LOVE LINUS!!! I think I posted once that the dog in your avatar is a real cutie, I didn't know that was Linus! I must have missed that. Seriously, he really is soooooo cute...I will dog babysit him ANY DAY!! Don't worry Christine, Jimmy is still on the adorable list and I'd dog babysit him as well..lol...shhhh..don't tell my Violet (the golden in my avatar) or she may get jealous....

Just had to comment on that VERY CUTE dog! I just wanna sshhhhqeeeeze that lil' guy....awe I want him!

Crud, crud, CRUD!

I accidentally dozed off after work and *just* woke up (8 pm-ish). So, I will take care of personals now and skip an AM post, so I can make it up in the morning.

Sunny :: ooh, that sounds like a great, sweaty premix! Hope you enjoyed it...I did laugh at the falling on a pillow comment yesterday. I guess it's true that moms fret more over the firstborn?

Lorie :: yeah, I think you're right -- the pace will be frenetic until winter break. I would imagine you see a lot of need in the kids at this time of year. I have some "cases" developing, too. I had also asked about Linus working with the kids. Very intersting. Would love to hear more. Adorable pics.

Lori :: I remember your recent posts about MIL's comments. Don't know why folks think it's their place to comment about what other people eat...Here you go, losing weight during the holidays! :) Wish it were me. *ha ha* Nice job!!

Judy :: shoveling is a great workout...any DOMS from it today? IA about snow being magical, esp. at night.

Wendy :: will go with the negative pullup tip this Sunday when I attempt them again...great workouts...thanks for sharing the info about the EXT. Looks like my solution to winter running issues...hope you get to try Chang's. I think you'll really enjoy it. I've tried a wide variety of items from the menu and have never been disappointed.

Carole :: you sure have convinced me Chi is the way to do that...hope you can get that pain under control...glad you're not getting sick! Hard to resist when you're in close quarters with those who are...Yesterday it dawned on me why I keep flirting with this bug. The heat doesn't work in my classroom, and the vent (which is right behind my desk) has been blowing cold air full blast at the back of my head. Explains the on/off earache and sore throat that's been going on; usually happens to me if I'm in a draft. I have been putting work orders in since Sept. and put in a complaint to the principal y'day, so they are working on it now. Finally!

Kristi :: great deal on your BOSU! I would never have thought to look in a Linen n' Things for something like that. Good for you...Hope you feel better and enjoyed the party.

Susan :: I like S&H, though it's one I don't manage to fit in all that often...Yup, I'm with you on the pathetic pullup count. I managed two, assisted.

Shelly :: thanks for the tip on the 4DS premixes...will give it a go...would be hard to choose from the pics...they ALL look good!

Jackie :: I am working on getting over that TM aversion as it seems like a winter necessity, but I have to say, I do feel like I get a better workout with my outdoor runs. Perhaps Grace will change that. Thanks for the feedback! iTread #13 sounds good. Was it an iYoga you did?

Thomasina :: YAY! You're getting a BOSU!!! Having DH hide it is probably a good idea. I would have a hard time resisting to try it out already if it were there in plain sight...Glad to hear your fitness room is coming along.

Wendi :: hope you get a good night's rest today. You work your tail off every day! I'm amazed at the workouts you do on top of it all.

Linda :: I have to say, unlike our Fluidity bar :), this is one device that I'm putting to good use...how long is that u/b premix? I think that sounds like a good option for me to get caught up.

I think that's everyone. Now I need to prepare some paperwork for a pre-observation meeting that's scheduled with my principal tomorrow. This is one of those weeks w/ 12+ hour workdays. I won't be too hard on myself about dozing off.

Have a great night!
