RE: ::: CHEETAHS ::: Wednesday (really this time!) *lol...
LOL...love the thread title!
last night i downloaded cc1 revised, cc2 revised, and cc8. i am going to attempt cc8 on the ext but have to admit i am a leetle skeered since everyone has said it's really hard and has a lot of hills. i can sprint until the cows come home, but hills can sometimes get me, especially on the tm. at least i will be on the ext! i have to admit to being a totaal grace fan (she just doesn't bother me like she does most people) and i think iTreads are easier to do than cc's on the tm. i really like the cc's for the ext.
christine-of course i am biased and think they are the two most beautiful children in the world. kinda makes me think i don't even want to try because i could never have such a beautiful child. also, i love asian-mixed children. i just think they are so gorgeous! have mercy on you for doing that workout! ;-) your marinade sounds yummy!
wendy-my thoughts EXACTLY!!! calories and fat consumed on vacay is part of an
activity, thus the calories don't count. ;-) you are SOOOOOO right about the OWNERS of pit bulls and NOT the breed. in the 1950's, they were the most popular breed in america because of their loyalty and goodness. spanky from "the little rascals" was a pit bull! i love the breed and think they are beautiful with their permanent smiles!
gloria-i am biased, most definitely!!! i am a brown rice lover as well. i prefer it over white rice and always have. i just think it tastes so much better and has a much better texture.
wt-lol about the "right" day! we didn't choose an all-inclusive because we didn't want to be tied to one place. we are staying at the westin aruba. it's supposed to be pretty close to everything and the beach is RIGHT THERE! also, they are supposed to have a good gym and part of relaxing for me is working out, so i plan on doing a lot of working out, playing on the beach, and, of course, shopping! wtf about having eye surgery??? i didn't know you had a double vision (can't help but think of foreigner) thing going on. did they say why?
posh-dean loved bonaire for the diving (he has dove in over 40 countries) but we promised we would go somewhere neither of us had been. i have heard aruba can get pretty windy because of the desert atmosphere but that the beaches are beautiful. since you've been (and you are posh), is there any good shopping to do there? i was also told to do the jeep tour of the island because it is a lot of fun.
wendi-did you have a good birthday? i didn't realize i was running that fast but i was also REALLY pushing myself (probably too hard) and didn't take the ONE walk break she suggested and my hr stayed pretty darn high. i think i just wanted to see if i could do it after not working our for so long. i doubt i will do those speeds again. i am not really into being fast, just git er done!
jackie-thanks for the compliemnts. he IS a big boy. i hope (for his parents' sake) he evens out at some point or he will be wearing 5 year old clothes at 1 year old and be very heavy!!! we went walking and i carried him for about a mile, and, let me tell you, i didn't need to do any upper body that day!!! ;-)
shelly-i love your little spanky! he is so cute. i still can not get over how much land you have. how wonderful it will be to run and know it is ALL YOURS! IMO, the owner of your house should NOT own a dog if that's how he treats it! dogs are pack animals and want to be with their "pack" (humans). i have an aussie and i can't imagine leaving her (or ANY of my babies) in a little pen!!! that makes me so sad...
carole-yes, the red "dust" is a pain, no doubt! it also stinks when you want to plant anything because you have to dig up the red clay and replace it with soil. sorry the fires are kicking up. i can't even IMAGINE what 116 feels like! i think i would be permanently inside with the a/c!
okay, gotta motivate to do this cc. planning on going to the pool and swimming some laps after if there is time. i love swimming!
