RE: ::: CHEETAHS ::: Wednesday (really this time!) *lol...
Afternoon, cheetahs—
I just woke up from a deep nap and still need to work out, but I’m working on shakin’ off a bit of grogginess here first.
Carole :: Lucky Number Slevin is also with Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Ben Kingsley, Stanely Tucci, and Lucy Liu. It did capture my interest, but it's pretty violent…No, I have searched high and low, and no KM in sight. Problem is, I cannot remember if I loaned it…I am thinking rather than replace it, I might wait and see what’s up with the Workout Blender…I’m not sure when the surgery will be, but my consult appointment isn’t until mid-September. Earliest I could get. I will even have to take a personal day for it; this doc didn’t have much availability…I’m glad that the fires aren’t moving closer to you, but it’s not good to hear things have kicked up some…You made me smile not noticing the day was wrong yesterday. I keep having to knock out of my head the idea that it’s Thursday.
Lorie :: Interesting thoughts comparing iTrains to the CCs. Why do you think that is? I am new to CC and have only done two Grace workouts. Most of the ones I have done are with Keith… Oh, that’s right about the AIC. An old friend and her SO are in Aruba now (they’ve gone probably half a dozen times now), and I must have had the two of you mixed up. (Par for the course these days! :7)…I started having double vision in 2002. Never really learned why. I guess it’s not as common in adults. Luckily for me, it is not obvious to others. Sometimes when people lose control of an eyeball, it starts to look unattractive. I'm also fortunate in that it's not like I see double 100% of the time, but with certain activities--like driving--the increase of it happening is cause for concern…*lol* about your Brazilian attempt.
Jackie :: I do geek out over stamps also…Ha ha, I’m glad others didn’t realize my gaffe…I’m surprised the USPS didn’t have dental or vision before. Honestly, I was a little scared about the LASIK, too. I know several people who had it and were fine and they had me convinced, but I definitely was apprehensive. I don’t really want to be conscious for something like that. I know in LASIK they cut the cornea and flip it, so you can’t see anything, but something about the whole procedure of foolin’ with the eyeball using lasers or scalpels screams FREAKOUT to me…I once had a tiny metal fragment embedded in my eye, and the doc had to retrieve it with what looked like miniature tweezers. So there I was, with my eyeball open wide and he’s comin’ straight at me with a tool. WHA? That's not natural!!…I thought I might slide right outta that seat!! *lol* I am generally good with needles and other procedures, but the eye…uh, yeah, I’m a squeamish, little wussy bear…Even when he inserts contact lenses at the annual exam, I get jumpy. Just don’t want others near my eye. Apparently, most people are awake for this type of surgery, too. But GA is an option if I want it. I think I do…If you can resist a $3 running top, I bow down to you. Now that’s restraint! How did today go with your appetite?
Christine :: yes, the surgery will be covered by the insurance. I might have a small co-pay…Did you enjoy some pool time?...I have missed the bells, too, during my little break from them. Might have discovered the happy medium by doing them once a week…That sounds like a great trip for DD15. Is this the first time she’ll have been away from home for that long?
