Hi lovely Cheetahs!!!
How is everyone! I’m done with HSTA, and the KM leg sculpting drills, and I got a wild hair and added the first five blasts from KM. I’m feeling pretty tired about right now, but very accomplished! My abs are feeling it though – amazing to me as there was no official ab work – but those sculpting drills do work the obliques! So how is everyone?
Wendy – I’m always willing to go back to bed for an hour. :+ Good job on your run. Funny – I remember you saying that you will never be able to run five miles. You’ve really come far! Why am I not running as much? I get bored with things after a while and need a shake up. So spinning took over. Now, I’m doing more of a mix again. But my main steady-state is still spinning. I do run occasionally. Where are you going?
Cathy – yeah – he’s an interesting guy. As you live near him and are single, I wanted you to watch out (he’s married, but that never seemed to make a difference). Enjoy KM! I’ve heard good things about “You on a Diet”. I’ve also heard it’s more basic stuff (but sometimes basic is good!). I picked up the “Eat Clean diet” and was not impressed, although some of the people here are. The recipes are good, but she talks about using Hoodia, etc. And I found that while she does eat clean – the information is not new – just same old. But hey – whatever works.
Marcia – How long is the convention? Those are usually fun! Enjoy!
Shelly – HSTA IS fun, isn’t it? By the time the sit and stands come around, my legs are shaking. I think this one has the best lower body work of any of the circuits. Enjoy the BBC Treadmill workout! I’m in awe of anyone who can do those!
Sunny – enjoy your Garmin! Your difficulties disconnecting from the bike was probably due to the newness of your cleats. It will get easier over time. It’s a quick twist with your heel pulling outward. But, YES, they make a difference. You can spin faster – and you can do one legged drills to enhance your spin. It really help because you learn to use the entire pedal stroke which leads to faster spins and higher heart rates.

Enjoy!
Carole - Oh, enjoy your workout! I did a week of P90X and was so tired I could hardly see straight! I cannot believe I thought I could do that AND train for a half. No wonder my first half turned into a 10k! glad your DH had a good day. Hopefully it’ll cool down – it’s less sultry here. Feels more like California again instead of Hawaii!
Jackie – Never stopped with the workouts. Just busy at work, so I don’t always have time to check in. I cannot imagine not working out! Does iStrength 14 use the gym machines or is it free-weights?
Jessie – Hannah is sick? So sorry! Too funny about the many uses for the club step! From hardcore step workouts to fashion show runway! Absolutely understand about “The Eat Clean Diet”.
Gayle - 47 pounds with leg presses? I’m hurting just thinking about it! Wow! I’m with you on the Eat Clean Diet. Wasn’t really impressed. Did enjoy some of the recipes, though!
I’m going to go crawl under my desk and nap now! *wishes she could actually do that!* Enjoy everyone!!!
