Okay, I know it's very late but the computer chair is actually empty (for a change;-) ) and I want to get back to checking in daily. I've been busier than I like to be at work but it'll quiet down soon enough.
I'm 4 days away from my half and am on day 2 of a yukky coldx( . The inside of my right ankle is slightly swollen and tender. I've been icing a few times a day and having chiro adjustments. All of my long runs are done (ran 10k yesterday), I rest Thursday, Friday, run 3k Saturday and then it's the BIG EVENT!! I'm disappointed that I feel so crappy am praying that the cold doesn't settle into my chest. Come Hell or high water I AM RUNNING THE HALF, it might not be pretty but I've worked so hard this summer and will earn my 'bragger's rights;-) As much as I have enjoyed this training and am pleased with myself for being committed to the plan I am ready to get this DONE and get back to my previous routines with the addition of running 2-3 times/week. I have come to love runs around 8 to 10k but am missing my Kickboxing and other Cathe stuff.

I've read today's thread and have missed a lot around here!! I'd better go check out yesterday and see what the heck Christine did to her poor finger.
