Cathlete
Morning, cheetahs :)

Supervised track last night and then met a friend for dinner…didn’t get in til 8 pm but guess what was waiting for me?? SQUEEZE! I didn’t have time to preview it but will do that today. C&B + ARX is on the schedule for later.

Saw on the news last night a 29-year-old man dropped dead after running Philly’s Broad Street Run (10-miler) on Sunday. How terrible.

Sunny :: hope you had a good UB workout & a chance to relax after a busy day.

Marcia :: it’s good to see you back…we were a little worried about you…what was the diagnosis, if you don’t mind sharing?

Wendy :: Hey, I don’t think you’re weird. I usually keep my iPod on shuffle, so that I’m “surprised,” but if I’m not in the mood to hear a particular song, I skip it. If I’m feeling like I’ve got lead in the legs, then it’s gotta have a good beat. Otherwise, it’s based on what I feel like hearing…The videotaped exercises sound time-consuming…I'm sure you're doing great!...Looking forward to your thoughts on SSE.

Judy :: welcome back! Sounds like a great time—not boring at all…I didn’t care for the Podrunner Podcasts, either…You do have eclectic taste in music – me too.

Shelly :: soooo, what’dja think of Rod?…I have to confess, I still don’t really think of most of the yoga that I do as a “real” workout, either…which is probably silly as some make you work incredibly hard…but even so, I think of it more as a supplement to other things...but now that I am practicing again regularly, I remember why it is so critical to include it in any workout program…I feel SO much better when yoga is a part of my routine!

Jess :: sounds like a great w/end…well done, DH! :)…I never used to run with music, either, but now I prefer to…No worries, if you can turn on a computer, you can download music. :)

Carole :: well, it is safer to run outside without the music…but I keep the volume low so I’m still aware of my surroundings. Glad the ham’s doing better…My sister has done Pergo flooring. It turned out really nice.

Jackie :: I usually score my swimsuits at Macy’s, but this year the selection IMO was a bust. I need a new one but do not look forward to trying more on. Maybe I’ll wait another month.

Gayle :: very generous of you to volunteer at the school every single day…you sure are spoiling those teachers. But trust me, any little gesture is MUCH appreciated!!

Susan :: LOVED the photos…Allyson looked so beautiful in her dress…And there was one shot – it’s like the requisite b-day party shot everybody must have in a photo album somewhere – where all the girls are at the table with varying amounts of chocolate smeared on their faces and one girl is giving the big cheese smile – I cracked up. Thanks for sharing ‘em.

Christine :: when I previewed some of the BBCs, I thought they were crankin’ the TMs up pretty high…but my TM is an older model and I think it might not have comparable speed levels…on my TM, the speed controls are not digital – it’s like a slide that I don’t believe even goes up to 10. If you're at that point, you're goin' through the wall. *LOL*

Heather :: good luck on the continued spring cleaning project.

Oh, and in answer to my own question about music...a few that come to mind: "Rain in the Summertime" by the Alarm, "You Better You Bet" - The Who, "Are You Gonna Go My Way" - Jet (which was my skydiving theme song & that's why it gets me so pumped!), "Hot in the City" - Billy Idol, "How Soon is Now?" - The Smiths, "Hypnotize" - Biggie, "Mama Said Knock You Out" - LL Cool J.

~Cathy :)

Good morning all:

Cathy - No, I don't mind at all just wasn't sure if it would be TMI or not ;-) My tests all came back normal and fine. So, they are a little baffled why I have had my period for 3 months straight. So, they put me on an oral med for 10 days that will 'clean me out' and hopefully that will solve the problem. If not, I will go back to the doctor and they might have to do a DNC or something more extensive. The pills seem to be working because I was retaining water (a lot) and that is gone so I'm feeling much better and the scale is reflecting that, too.;-) ;-)

Today we have a funeral visitation to go to for DH's cousin. Workout today will be P90X Legs and maybe a run if I can fit it in.

Marcia.

Good morning cheetahfriends! Well, yesterday I didn't even end up doing a "sort of" rest day. I slept like a log for 7+ hrs!!! Very unusual for me to do during the day between work nights. So I had an honest to god true total rest day.... didn't do nuttin honey:)

I have a few off now and will be getting off work in a couple of hours
so it's back to business:D I'll be doing my speed ladder run with progressively increasing 2 minute intervals and will probably go for about 6 miles or so. Later I'll dust off my old Karen Voight GWW tape and give it a whirl.... Carole inspired me on this one :7

Cathy- Who does the "squeeze" workout anyway? Well, I didn't get a
chance to try out Rodney yet and I'm just not in the yoga mood today!
Have a great time with the pull ups and push ups today!!

Marcia- That must be frustrating for you that your doc couldn't really pin down what your problem was but that's great that your medication is providing relief. I think that is awesome you are thinking seriously about doing an HM!! It is absolutely doable for you!!! It will provide a wonderful feeling of accomplishment also
I do hope you go for it!!!

Jess- Great job on your run yesterday!!! How is the calf today?
It does sound like your Az friend did the Whiskey Row HM... that's what this killer race is called. She has my sympathy!!!

Carole- Glad you didn't suffer any long term effects from your trip!! I've been unsuccessfully trying to convince my DH to replace our carpets with laminate wood flooring. I think it looks great!
I'm a big time DIY girl and from what I read and researched about it with today's materials it isn't that hard.

Jackie- Great iTread workout yesterday!! I'm sure you are more than ready for your upcoming 10k. I would definitely bring your Zen to the race. Even if headphones are "not allowed" I've never actually seen this enforced.

Susan- I'm so glad to hear that Allyson's party was a success. I can't view any photos here at work but I'll be sure to check them out when I get home.

Christine- I love your comments about BBC:7 I've only done the TM segment of these once and they are really challenging. I actually did take it up to 10 mph for a little while..... I didn't know these old legs could move that fast!!! Couldn't keep it up very long though;-)

Judy- Have a great golfing day!!!!! You are so amazingly versatile in your sports and abilities!

Wendy- woooohooooo Awesome job with those hill repeats!!! Keep it up!

Time to get back to work here! I'll be checkin back later:)

ShellyC

Good Morning Cheetah-Babes!:)

I have spin on tap for this morning for sure and I think I will do a few sets of chin ups at nap time as well. I don't have abs on tap until later in the week but I think I might do ARX today anyway. I must be outta my cotton-pickin' mind! LOL

Y'day's hill repeats were tough. We had a choice of anywhere between 5 and 10 repeats. We could go to the cool down run at any point after 5 repeats if we wanted to. Wouldn't you know that NO ONE in the class wanted to be the FIRST to "quit" so EVERYONE did all 10 repeats! LOL I think we surprised the coach. }( :p ;) I felt VERY worked out after that. I am thinking of trying to re-create them on the TM one day by running up an incline and then jogging "back down" at 0% incline. }(

I'll be back a bit later for personals!

Have a good morning!:)

Good morning ladies,

today i went to the gym and did legs. i plan on a run, most likely using an itread this afternoon.

cathy- you got your squeeze???!! i ordered before you and haven't seen an email saying it's been sent yet. i will have to give her an email. i read somewhere there has been some mistakes when sending the video out.

marcia- so glad to see you back and that all is well:)

shelly- 7 hrs of sleep...good for you! your body definitely needed it.

wendy- awesome job with those repeats!! i am planning on joining a running group at fleet feet this saturday.

have a great day to all in cheetah land.

ttyl....:)

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...that is always awful to read of a runner dropping dead during a run. It always makes me wonder about their background. I am sure listening to music running is a safety issue to me. Probably a big part of that was going to one of our local trails one morning to run. It was overcome with Cops. A girl was found dead about 1.5 miles up the trail. This was way before iPods, etc became popular and I am sure for me it is a strong part of the reason for wanting to hear...Have fun with C&B and ARX.

Shelly...thanks. When I first mentioned the flooring DH was all for it. Of course now it seems like it'll get done but he will make this tough. It'll definitely be DIY, if we survive...he is a procrastinator by trade I think...:)...let me know how you liked GWW, and have fun with your ladder run.

Marcia...glad you are feeling better. I hope the meds do their stuff.

Wendy...good job with DM upper. Sounds like you have worked out a good rotation. Wow...a few hill repeats!! Shoulders are my favorite part to work so I always look forward to a shoulder workout. Have fun spinning and maybe ARX??...you are bringing it!!

Sunny...good job with legs and enjoy your iTread later...

Heather...I understand all to well your clutter problem. I am trying to dig out myself. Good luck, and I will also check out Peter's Book.

Today is B&G standing, abs and either and iClimb or iTread on my EXT.

Have a great day...:)

Good morning ladies!

Wendy - Those hill repeat sounds like it was good workout. I haven't previewed Core Cardio yet but I plan on doing the workout Friday to see what it's all about. I will let you know. Enjoy your spin class today.

Heather - Glad you're making progress with your decluttering. Hope you enjoy your time with your mom.

Cathy - Glad your Sqeeze made it. I'm not listening to any previews - NO, NOPE! That's awful about the man dropping dead. Did they say what caused it? Thank you for all of the new songs to add to my playlist. I need to write all of these down before I forget. I like "She's Like the Wind" too but I can't remember the artist. I'm not good with the artists. I have to be looking at the playlist.

Marcia - Glad you're feeling better and the meds seem to be helping.

Shelly - Good for you getting in a complete rest day! Hope you enjoyed it to the hilt! I think I will use my Zen and an iTread outdoor workout. This might keep me from shooting out the gate too fast and pace myself better. I just want to enjoy the race.

Sunny - Have a good run!

Carole - I try not to have my music blasting when I'm running because I want to hear things around me too. Bet giving that hamstring a break from running today will do it good. I've been omitting deadlifts a lot lately.

I did PUB/PLB combo, the abs and stretch from PUB and about 10 minutes of iStretch 12. I walked on my treadmill on an 8% incline instead of doing the deadlifts. The stretch wasn't bad. Think I might be able to follow Grace once I look at the illustrations.

Got a lot on my plate today. Enjoy your day!

Jackie

Hey cheetahs,
I am feeling good after my rest day. I am going to do BBC chest and abs and 35 minutes on the elliptical. I am going to lunch with my girlfriends to a vietamiese restaurant. It should be interesting. I will let you know how I like it.

Mariah is making her musical debut tonight in her first little musical called the 3 piggy opera. She is so excited. I will probably cry the whole time. I am such a sap:)

I am off to take kids to school and then workout. I have been terrible with personals lately. My mind has been kind of all over the place lately.

Have a good day ladies!

Susan

Hello ladies!

I’m back from vacationing and ready to get started on eating better and exercising more.
Today is a gorgeous day, sunny with highs near the 80s. I’m thinking about running a short 3 miler outside during my lunch. This would be my first run since my HM on April 28th. Actually I haven’t exercised at all since then. I’m still trying to decide what I want my rotation to be for the next 1 ½ months before my race on July 4th. Next week I will be officially running more and weight training. I don’t think my body is up for the challenge of P90X yet because I have slacked so much with my strength training. I guess I should make a list of what I would like to accomplish by July 4th and that might lead me in the right direction. What do you all think?

Cathy – My favorite songs to run to are “Let’s Get it Started” by Black Eye Peas and “My Band” by D12. How’s P90X going? Are you following the Classic Rotation?

Wendy – Great job on the hill repeats! How is the personal training test going? Are you a PT yet?

SunnyD – How are the boys doing? You are one busy cheetah!

Christine – How is Jimmy doing?

Jess – Happy Belated Birthday!

Shelly – Your speed ladder run sounds like a great workout. I need to start working on speed if I ever want to run faster. Do you have any advice you would like to share on speed workouts? I’m new to them. Should I only do them once a week? Also, where I live is relatively flat, how should I go about working on hills?

Hi to Susan, Carole, Judy, Linda, Jackie, Marcia, Gayle and all the other cheetahs! I’m still trying really hard to get in more personals. Some days are much better than others. Work has been too chaotic to do them every day.

Hi ladies. It's me....miss MIA. lol

I've been so busy at the school, coming and going, that I think they need to give me a pass key of my own for the week! LOL. But it's such a wonderful thing to do, so I feel good about the time I put in. The teachers are actually thanking ME for all the work. When it's really THE TEACHERS who do it all!

ANYWAY....Zach (DS) and I are at my parents' house right now. Mom and Dad just got home from a trip to N Carolina to visit my younger sis. Mom started her new round of chemo today, so she wanted to get that trip in before that.

I've been having some MAJOR problems with motivation since last weekend's HM! I pick my workout at night, before bed. I've got all the intentions of getting up early to do it, and making it Day 1 for good clean eating. Then I smack off that alarm and cuddle under the blankets for an extra hour of sleep, then breakfast starts the day's worth of bad eating. I need to stop. I need to find that motivation. I need to STOP COMPLAINING and JUST DO IT!

Sorry to rant on myself. Just needed to vent. Onward and upward, right???

Gayle

Hey everyone!

Cathy - I can't wait to hear what you think of Squeeze! I love it! The first time I used it, I used my Fluidity bar, but after that, I didn't even bother setting it up, cause I really didn't need it. My mind is bland regarding music I like to run to! My goodness! That poor guy;( That is so sad about him dying! I wonder if he had an underlying heart condition?

Christine - I could not believe that those people were running at 10 and 11 mph with the incline that high! I am glad I am not the only one that thought that was super tough! No way could I keep up. I think the fastest I got was 8.5 and that was for a very, very few seconds.

Marcia - Glad the tests came back okay and hope you get to feeling better!

Shelly - I am glad you got some true rest and sleep! I am sure you needed it, whether you realized it beforehand, or not! ;-)

Wendy - Enjoy the spin and great job on the hill repeats! That sounds great to use on the TM, the way you are thinking of doing them!

Sunny - I hope you get your Squeeze soon and that there was no problem!

Carole - Enjoy your EXT workout and B&G! That is sad about the girl on the trail run. It always bothers me when I hear something like that.

Jackie - That sounds like a good workout! I haven't done the PUB/PLB for a long time. I miss that one!

Susan - Enjoy your workout and lunch! The pictures were beautiful! I totally understand about your mind being "all over the place" lately! Take care of yourself and know that you are in my prayers! It takes a lot of time.

Kristi - Welcome back from vacation! Enjoy your 3 mile run! It is really pretty here, too! I imagine we are sharing the same weather again! You needed to recoup after your HM!!

GAyle - I think it is pretty normal after a HM or marathon to be a little "unmotivated" for a short while. Guess it's your mind and body's way of saying...."Hey! I need to repair a little, here! " You did great!

Well, ladies.....I think I give up! I am not doing P90X anymore for a while! I am just tired. I am thinking of not running as much for a while, either. I don't know if this is a mood, or what. I ran 5 miles outside Sunday and I had a really good run....but I am going to switch things around for awhile with some step, walking, kickboxing, etc.

This morning I did Imax 3 and Gin Miller's Simply Endurance. I was supposed to be running the 15k this weekend....but I just don't feel like my heart is into it. Man....sorry...don't mean to sound like a whiner.

Hi to everyone!

ladies,

just popped in to say, i got the call from the YWCA and i got the job!!! woohooo....actually i got two jobs. being that i will be a contract employee (personal training) they do not want you to also be a regular employee. however the mgr. fought for me and i will be able to personal train and instruct classes (which at the gym i work at now i can not do). i am soooooooooooo excited. the $ per hour is more than double what i am making now. I will be on cloud nine all day:) :D :7

off, for my second workout.

linda- you are not whining. i don't think that rotation is for everybody. i felt the same as you. so what i decided to do (because they are such excellent workouts) is to use them as i see fit.

ttyl...

Sunny - That is great! Congratulations! I am sooo happy for you! Yes, they are excellent workouts! And I usually enjoy doing them, but...I guess the time is just not right. I will do like you said and do them as I see fit! :7 Again...I am SOOO happy for you! :7

Hey All –

Phew what a morning! The electricity went out last night at 7:30 PM (heard a loud POP like a gun shot and everything went black). They finally came back on at 11:00 PM, but I could not sleep before that because it was too bloody hot and I was worried that I had forgotten to unplug something that would explode when the lights came back on so I kind of dozed with one eye open. I woke up a bit late this morning because I set my alarm clock wrong, but still managed to get in BBC Shoulders and Back (I know Joey is adorable, but he’s chatty too), followed by Step Boxing. I get my Spinervals today so I’m hoping to get up early and do “Have Mercy” which is 90 minutes of pain. :D… DD18 decided to sleep in today (severe case of senioritis) so I had to find 15 minutes in my morning to drop off DD14 at school. AND I had to clean up the house as the maids are coming. I’m ready to drop right now. LOL.

Cathy – That’s horrible about the 29 yo! Poor guy! Did they say why? I just laughed at the TM portions – but hey… they’re a lot easier on a bike. :p Enjoy your P90X workout!

Marcia – they cannot find anything? Amazing! I swear women are still mysteries to medical science. They’ve got men figured out (probably easier – not much to them!) but we are mysteries. Glad to hear you’re water retention has ended! Hope you’re feeling better. And YES – if I can do a HM you can!! Go for it!!

Shelly – you must have been BEAT! You slept 7 hours? Wow! Well, you must have needed it. I’m impressed with you being able to run 10 mph. On a good day I can get to 8 briefly. 10 is a dream that I will never achieve.

Wendy – wow! Tough workout! I need to start doing hill repeats. I’m lousy at hills. Enjoy your spin class!

Sunny – I’ll bet you feel good after your leg workout! Enjoy your run this afternoon!

Carole – I’m with you on the iPods and running. I only run with an iPod when I have a dog with me or I’m running in broad daylight on fairly busy streets. When I’m on trails, I never use an iPod – too many things out there – like bad people, mountain lions, coyotes… I want to hear what’s around me. Plus a lot of my running trails are also biking trails and those bikes come up fast. How horrible for that girl that was found. Enjoy B&G!

Jackie – sounds like a great workout! I love dead lifts – I like that I get to work my back and my hamstrings, but I’m lucky that it’s one place on me that is not really stiff. Of course, now that I said something, I’ll pull my hammie or something. :p Enjoy your busy day.

Susan – tell Mariah I said to “Break a leg!” How cute! I would cry the whole time too! So I guess we’re both saps! Enjoy BBC Chest and abs and the elliptical!

Kristi – how was Raleigh? Enjoy your run! Jimmy is right as rain – doing everything a puppy should, which means he’s a little handful, but he’s so sweet and loving that it’s all good. :+

Hey Gayle! Didn’t you have some motivation issues after your marathon, too? I get the feeling that you love training for and meeting a goal, and then when it’s over, it’s kind of a let down. Give yourself a break. As soon as you start concentrating on what’s next you’ll do fine. Enjoy your boys and your DF and your time at the school. You’re an inspiration to us all!

Linda – so glad to hear I’m not as big a wuss as I thought I was! Ya know, I really don’t blame you on P90X – it’s very very tough, and if it makes you that tired and messes with your running, it may not be for you. You need to do what’s right for you. And, seriously – it’s a great series of workouts – there’s nothing that says you HAVE to do the entire rotation – use the workouts as you need. And go run the 15k – if you don’t, you’ll be kicking yourself. Remember – you can always walk it if you need to…

SUNNY!!! YEAH!!! *Does happy dance around the forum with Sunny* Congratulations!!! *Does another round of happy dances with Sunny* I’m soooo excited for you! WAY TO GO GIRL!!!

Christine - Glad your electric came back on! Hope you like your new Spinnervals! It sounds tough! Ahhh! Senioritis! I remember that, all too well! ;-) Thanks for the pep talk! I think I will play things by ear for a few days. I don't remember the other P090X rotations I have done making me feel like this. But...I was a couple of years younger then, too :+

Good Afternoon Cheetah-Babes!:)

Well, my work out is done. Spin class this morning was TOUGH as usual. A slightly different work out as tuesday's instructor is different then Thursday's. Change is good though!}( After procrastinating for quite some time and ALMOST taking a nap first :7 I got off my arse and did the rest of my work out. I was not feeling ARX today though so I gave SS Express 6 min abs a try instead. I really like it. She hits all areas nicely and I could definately feel it! So I did the ab work one time through, did 15 chin ups and then did the ab work AGAIN!}( I guess I was feeling guilty for nixxing ARX for the 2nd or 3rd time as of late so I figured this would make up for it! LOL

I am brewing some java. When I have coffee in hand I will be back for personals...C everyone in just a few! :+

Hello ladies,
I just finished BBC chest and abs and the elliptical. I really do not like that chest and ab workout. I love all of them, but that one. I find it boring and I am not a huge push-up fan. I think the ab work is too easy in that one. Oh well, maybe it will grow on me:)

I am off to lunch with friends. I will be back.

Susan

SunnyD - Congrats on the new job! WAY TO GO!!!!!! When do you start?

Christine - Raleigh was nice. The weather was cloudy, a little rainy, and cool (60's). We spent a couple days shopping and visiting so the weather didn't bother us. On Saturday we headed to the beach in Wilmington. It was beautiful, still cloudy and too cool for swimsuits. However, we laid on a blanket on the beach and talked some more. It was a nice trip and I ate WAY TOO MUCH. However, I'm glad to be home with DH and kids.

Okay, I'm back! My coffee cup is actually almost empty already but that's okay! LOL

SunnyD: OMG you are da bomb girl! Congrats on your new jobs!!!! What class(es) will you be teaching?? I know you got your Turbo Kick cert a while back. You had mentioned studying for your group fitness cert but I don't recall you saying you had taken the exam. I guess it's safe to say that you passed!? :7 You are just kickin' arse girl! I hope I can do HALF as well as you are doing once I am certified! I think you were born a natural at this stuff!:)

Cathy: My mom tells me on occassion that she has that fear in the back of her mind with all of the exercising/running I do that one day I will die of a heart attack or something. It's so sad when things like this happen but as Carole said...you don't know what his background is. He could have been pushing WAAAY too hard, could have had a condition that he didn't know about or had a condition that he KNEW about but chose to ignore. :-(

Carole: So did you feel with burn with B&G today? How can you NOT, right? :7 }( :7 I *TRIED* to bring today even though I wussed out of ARX. I think I did an okay job of it!;)

Jackie: I did the new SS Express ab work out for the first time today and really liked it. Have you done it yet? I thought it was thorough and pretty tough for such a short routine!

Susan: Enjoy your lunch!:9 I have a love/hate relationship with push ups! I LOVE to HATE 'em! LOLOL Actually, I like them. I think they are a great upper body exercise. It's just that when I have endless amounts of them to do and my upper body is ready to fall off it can start to drudge up those feeling of HATE in me!:p :7

Kristi: I am glad you enjoyed your vacation. I think you are smart to put an X rotation on hold until you've concentrated a bit more on weight training. I think you should do a pre-X rotation that involves a good bit of weight training along with your running next!}( I am not a PT yet but it's coming down to the wire on my exam. I am working on the last part of it. Hopefully I will be done soon but then they say you have to wait 4-6 weeks for the results!

Gayle: I hope you find your motivation soon!

Linda: Sorry you have to give up the X for now. No worries though. Get back to it when you are ready. Your body must be telling you something. Why not take a recovery/rest week and then try again perhaps?

Christine: Joey is MORE then adorable honey!}( :p :+ He can chat all he wants when I'm around!:7

Tomorrow I have yoga on tap. I am looking forward to it!:)

Hola, cheetahs~

Marcia :: I’m glad to hear the meds seem to be working – and that you’re getting some benefits at the scale, too!! I need me some of those pills. :)

Shelly :: LOL about doin’ “nuttin’, honey.” Maybe it was the race catchin’ up to you? (I could not believe how hard you worked out the next day after such a *tough-as-hell* course!! Is that typical for you not to rest the day after a race?)…Tracey Effinger does the Squeeze workout…I never heard of her before now…I have it running in the background as I type this…it is just her by herself…she seems pleasant and straightforward…though she is saying the word “squeeze” a lot. This workout looks GOOD, though…I want to scrap C&B for it tonight!

Wendy :: sounds like a great workout last night – that is definitely a benefit of taking a class – I think you work harder to try to hang in w/ everybody…Yeah, re: the runner…I imagine they will find some hidden, underlying condition – just a shame to see someone so young pass.

Sunny :: CONGRATS!!!!! Woo-hoo!! Sweet deal!! :) :) :) I paid a couple of bucks extra for the expedited shipping ($4.95 instead of $2.95) and I paid via PayPal, so the funds came out immediately. Maybe that helped it go quickly.

Carole :: I agree – it’s jarring to see someone who appears to otherwise be healthy & in his/her prime just go like that right in the middle of a game or race. The cause of death was not released in today’s paper. He collapsed after finishing in 1:20. Was about to celebrate his 1-year anniversary…Very eerie about the runner found dead…I don’t think I would use headphones if I ran on trails or in secluded areas. I run on really busy streets in the daytime and keep the volume low, so I can hear everything around me and remain totally aware of my surroundings.

Jackie :: “She’s Like the Wind” – you mean from Dirty Dancing? Patrick Swayze recorded that, but I know there’s a more current remake out. *LOL* about no more previews…So far, no cause on the runner’s death…such a shame.

Susan :: how was the Vietnamese restaurant? Don’t think I’ve ever tried it or even know of a place near me, come to think of it…Absolutely do not worry about personals…we certainly understand that you are going through difficult times right now.

Kristi :: welcome back! Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself…Personally, I think you are OK to start the X…yes, I am doing the Classic and am in Phase Three. I think I have two more weeks after this one.

Gayle :: considering how frickin’ hard you trained for all those months (getting up in the wee hours of the morning to pound out mile after mile on the TM!), I think a recovery week is in order. It’s probably what your body needs.

Linda :: hey, I’m glad you checked in…as I’m previewing Squeeze, I’m reminded a little bit of the instructor from Fluidity. Once in a while, Tracey’s count starts to sound almost as panicky as the Fluidity chick, who always seems to me like she’s doing a frenzied countdown to blastoff. Makes me chuckle…The more I watch, the more I think I have to do this tonight instead of C&B, even though it is not in any way comparable…You don’t sound at all like a whiner – I think you gotta do what you feel you’re up for. It may make more sense to commit to a traditional X rotation later – or, as Sunny said, you just make them work for you.

Christine :: you’ve had quite the adventures in 24 hours, eh?…What’s this about the maids? :) Is this like me giving myself a pedi before going to get the professional pedi so that I’m presentable to the nail technician, or are you just being facetious?

OK, I am feeling guilty for wanting to ditch on Tony again (I usually sub for Plyo, Kenpo, and YogaX but have been faithful with the weight workouts. That is, until last week when I subbed for ARX and even one or two of the weight workouts)...I think I am burning out of the same thing and am craving more VARIETY!! Decisions, decisions...

~Cathy :)
