Christine...John continues to do well. Today he is a bit under the weather. But those days will come. Had a good run, I stopped at my sister's house and took 2 of her dogs for a mile on this 1/2 mile loop on their property, they were so happy...:)

Katie...so glad your back is better!! Don't worry, there will be other 5K's when you are up and running.

Adri..I did sweat hard on my run. Then even more with rakemax in my yard!! I think Tomasina is the one that started saying CHEETAH!!!

Tomasina!!! Smoky down there?...we had some residual smoke from the fire in Weaverville. Good job with the massages and Chiro visits!! That has helped me for years. Well my Elliptical folds up and takes less room so that is good. I love the Garmin....especially the auto pause feature, so if you stop for any reason along your run the Garmin stops too, until you start running again! Yes, I am very happy about John.

Susan, I usually do PLB once a week. I do some of my own exercises (leg extensions and leg curls) in place of some of Cathes, but doing the same pyramid style. Glad you had a good 6.2 mile run...:)

Had a good run and will do PLB this afternoon. Off to get some housework done...
 
Thomasina - We'll have to see how I'm doing to see if I'm ready for the 1/2 in Jan. I was looking forward to having a long training period so I could progress slowly, but we'll see how long it takes me to get back in the groove.

Thanks ladies for all your kind words and support. It is so frustrating to be at a stand still right now. I'm itching to get moving again like I used to.

THOMASINA!!! How's the Meatless Inca? }(Sorry to hear about the fires - never even heard of them until now! I swear from the east coast point of view, the US ends in Pittsburgh (I'm a former PA girl, and this is an old complaint... :)). Hush puppies have been stepped away from until November. I'm back to eating clean. Good to hear from you!!

Susan - DEAL!!! I decided I'd better track my calories again. I do so much better when I do that.

Carole - Oh, that sounds like fun and I'm sure the doggies were so happy! Tucker danced and grinned around me for a good 20 minutes last night when I got home. I have to say that one of the best days to fly is 9/11 - the flight was almost empty!

Well, ended up doing the Spinervals Hillacious ride (60 minutes of hills - it's FUN!!), then P90X Chest and Back with All Steps Abs. I did the weight work with the band - MAN!!! I can really tell I worked my back. I love it! In between workouts I've been doing Clean Max and now it's off for ShopMax and CookMax. Amazing that the family even survives when I'm gone. I think they lived on take out! There's NOTHING in the house!

I was after school alittle longer today w/ Indoor Track info ect. They have to give us papers for our parents to sign so they're aware of what happens if we get injuyed, ect. All the basics. Ok, some personals:

Wendy-Great W/O girl! Your doin great;-) How do you like RTTC? I hear everyone talks about it. What does the W/O consist of? Sorry for all the questions just wondering. The W/O is pretty popular on the forums. Take care!

Susan- Glad you feel good after your W/O! Thats really important to the whole exercise field, feeling good. Keep it up!

Carol- Have fun w/ housework...If thats possible:p LOL. Glad you had a good W/O too:)

Katie- Trust me, you'll be up and movin in no time. Just be sure not to kick it up too much now cuz that could cause you to having to wait longer before you can be back to normal. Keep us posted!!

Hi cheetahs-
Am reading your posts with interest but can't do personals. I brought home a mountain of work tonight, so I can't fool around. :( These first two weeks are breakneck, but it should settle down from there (I hope!)

Just wanted to report in that I ran 4.5 miles...realized halfway through that I'd only eaten a yogurt for b-fast and PBJ for lunch - my practicum student arrived during lunch and I didn't have a chance to finish. DOH! Still ran fairly strong considering (it's also day one of TTOM) but came home to find my DVD player is BUSTED! Ack! I will have to deal with this ASAP b/c I gotta have my Cathe.
