Hi Cheetahs,
The day is going ok so far – I ran 3.5 miles outside and then got sick of dealing with the cold and dark (Christine—I imagined Kimo giving me a look that said: “you’ve got to be kidding lady? Just go inside….) and finished inside on the TM for another 1.5 miles. I hope to do some standing legs & abs later today .
More bad weather for us here, so I’m hoping to dash to the grocery store after work and get ready for hibernation if the kids have no school tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a great day and fun workouts.
Jess--sorry your w.o. planned got cancelled, but your dds will be happy to have a snow day. Imitrex works well when the headaches hit. There's only so much you can prevent with diet, then migraines are what they are....once they are there, you are sunk. Runs in my family, too.
Wendy—I’m drawing a blank on what cardio to do, maybe SJP premix? Or what about that CircuitMax mishmash Laurie posted a few weeks ago? The bodyblast series is “happy time” for me.
Carole--glad the massage felt good. Thanks for the additional info on the race and that creek. I was thinking about that this a.m. Why did you stop using 1-# weights with step? I do this only occasionally but am I heading for trouble?
Christine--So glad you are feeling better. 3000% is a lot!:+ Have fun with PH. That tape kills me.
Cathy--glad that info last night was helpful. I felt like the student intern on call answering that one.
Sunny—Have a good run today!
Marcia---the board meeting ended early????What’s going on. Have a fun workout today. Our snow is predicted for tonight. Sometimes I wonder if the TV weather folks hype it up a bit?
Gayle – have fun swimming. I bet it will help your legs & hips.
Linda--thanks for the detail on Barry's -- it sounds like it would be a sure 911 call for me. Backwards on the TM + me = America's Funniest Home Video clip...
Tomasina--you are really sweet to rescue a dog. I didn't realize you were training for a marathon either. Wow! That's fabulous. I think all of us have those 8-10 pounds that get lost and then find their way back home. I have a high school informational Team Beating for Parents. It's for my older DS who starts high school in the fall.
Susan--so I am like you, if I exercise less, I eat better. But if I exercise more, I'm happier. But then when I eat too "perfectly" when I exercise more, I eventually get fatigued and crabby. Which then leads me to eat a little more, which if you give a Moose a Muffin, leads to me eating too much more.....and then I scale back one or the other.... Although I'm vegan, I need to work on eating more veggies, fruits & legumes. I tend to gravitate toward complex carbs for too many of my meal choices....
Elaine-I did use the weighted gloves for LIC and I liked the tape much better that way. I find a lot of the moves are somewhat kickbox-y especially when I have the gloves on, and/or I modify to make it more that way. It seems on this new series, Cathe does a few more core type moves on the step. I hope Judy likes the book. I've been enjoying it.
Judy-- Hi!! Hope you're having a happy day!
DING--I must go to work.
Hi to everyone else checking in later. Sorry if I missed anyone!
