No time for personals ACK! But I survived the entire work out and I am still breathing!:p It was tough but much more doable than I remember! YEAH!!!}( }( }(

Even blast 10 wasn't as bad as it was just a couple of weeks ago cause I was ready for it and I paced myself this time!:D

Off to shower and to get DS ready for the ride up to MIL's for dinner tonight!:9

Hiya cheetahs…

My yoga class isn’t until 7:30, so I’m really just poppin’ in to say hi & get caught up. I’m opting for no cardio—just yoga.

Judy :: I do think a sticky mat is a good investment.

Shelly :: enjoy your workout today and these next few nights off!

Carole :: whoa, workouts before and after a massage?! Wow! I know I’m a piece of rubber when I get out of the spa…I wouldn’t be able to muster up the energy! :)

Jess :: hope you had fun w/ Step Blast.

Laurie :: what?! All those non-Cathe purchases? You’re drifting to the dark side! ;-)

Sunny :: hope your little one feels better soon!

LD :: Hope you have a good workout and the pain subsides. I really do think you ought to give a massage a try. You might have a different experience at the hands of trained professional. I love them but don’t get them as often as I’d like to. It’s heaven!!

Susan :: I tried the elliptical once on one-day pass @ Cathe’s gym…it is an odd feeling to get used to, but I can see how folks would get into it.

Christine :: The sleepiness must be contagious…I’m starting to feel a nap coming on myself.
Glad you had a good workout and are feeling the circuits differently. Must be effective.

Wendy :: Glad you did well w/ Imax 3. I was dying during BC last night…those cycles are tough!
 
Laurie...thanks...I loved the massage as I always do. She did tell me this time that my hips were a bit tight so I know my body does need some stretching, yoga and pilates!!! Good job on the new workouts you ordered. I even ordered 2 more Jari Love...:)

Sunny...thanks, I am glad I'm not alone on C&W!!! So sorry about your DS...hope he feels better soon.

LD...I am trying for a massage every 6 weeks. I just love the feeling after. If you get a good massage therapist she or he will give you any type of massage you like. I prefer deep muscle and it does hurt sometimes, but in a good day. I have had other massages where it was not deep muscle and it didn't feel like it did any good.

Susan...Sounds like you enjoyed the Elliptical. I am glad you are seeing a Chiro. Let us know how it goes. I have to say, I forgot how tough Imax 3 was!!

Christine...I can see why you slept like a log!! You are doing some tough stuff! Yes, you did tell us about your DH having 2 B-Days..I'm glad he enjoyed you nice gift..:)...my sister has a friend that believes in "Half" B-Days. So she will sometimes call you 6 months after your B-Day and wish you "Happy Half B-Day". Enjoy your shadowing...

Wendy..Imax3 about kiled me today and I only did 8 intervals plus the blasts!! Way to go on doing the whole thing...:)

Jess...that is great you caught on to Stepblast so easily! I bet the flooring looks awesome...:)

The massage was just what I needed. Now some cleanmax and then TLT, BBBB's....:)
 
Cathy...enjoy yoga! Yes I will do a not so tough workout later....:)...I might be trying to make up for the workouts I missed being sick last week...
 
Hello again lovely cheetahs! It's a wonderful rainy day here. In Arizona we cherish every wet day we get! I did a 6 mile TM run today and was able to pick up the speed a little more :) After a meal break I was in a circuit mood and took on the Gauntlet...feeling nice and drained now:eek: This afternoon DH and I are heading out to pick up a new car....that's always fun! Were actually just getting the 06 version of what we already have..the Honda CRV (love it!)

Christine- I rarely do Lomax also just because it seems so LOOONG!
However, I frequently do the blasts only premix....its a great leg pumper! Thanks for the inquiry re: my ongoing battle with the groin pull rehab. Mostly what is hard is patience and not overdoing it too soon! It's coming along slow but steady.

Carole- You will definitely be ready for a massage after IMAX3....my all time favorite Cathe cardio!!!

Jess- The DIY queen....you really are multitalented:7 We had our house custom built and to save money I took on the task of all the indoor painting myself....what a job!!! This is all the walls and ceilings from bare drywall. 2 primer coats and 3 regular coats...
so I empathize with you now! No DOMS from GS CT? I am impressed!

Laurie- Wow , you'll have a real smorgasbord of workouts to choose from! Glad to hear your PT is going well for you.

SunnyD- So sorry to hear your DS is sick!!:( Hope you can squeeze in a little run....I don't know how you moms with little ones manage!!! Y'all have my true admiration!

LD- Hey, your talk about Gauntlet inspired me! Good job on your run!

Susan- I think you'll like working out on the Elliptical. Works up a great sweat without pounding on the joints!

Wendy- Congrats on your IMAX 3 completion!!

Time to get my act together and go car shopping... looks like we'll have to wait a few more days for the new workouts.....sigh!!!

Okay, I'm back from MIL's for a bit now and have DS well settled for the night. Now I can do some personals!:)

Christine: I like LowMax but don't do it often for whatever reason. I hope you can start to really dig in at work so that you don't want to fall asleep in your tea cup anymore!:p As for you thinking you are BUGGING us by hangin' out cause work is lame right now, you are so wrong! You know we love to hear from you! In fact, I for one will miss your frequent posts once they actually put you to work!:+

Carole: Sorry IM3 was so tough on you today. You must have had an off day while I had a very good one! LOL I am surprised I got through it with as much energy as I did and didn't feel completely wiped out when it was over! Any updates on John??

Jess: Sounds like you are getting **double** work outs from renovations AND your regular work outs!}(

Laurie: I see somebody was spending some cash today! ENJOY!}( }(

Sunny: You should be able to just download an Itrain work out into your computer (Itunes) like anything else and then upload into your Ipod from there. Hope your son is feeling better.

LD: Take it easy on the running, girl! I know it's hard to do but if it's what your body needs then LISTEN!:)

Susan: Great elliptical work out! So I take it you will be using the elliptical again? :)

OH yes! Before I forget! I was poking around online and found a 5 mile race taking place on Black Friday that is pretty local to me! I called my friend and left her a message! I am hoping she can run it with me! I am on the schedule for work that day but should be able to switch or have someone cover for me. So much for no more races until the weather warms up, ey? }( :p

Hey all – still kicking! Thank heavens I plan my meals and make some ahead on Sunday or I’d be beat! Work is still good, but still slow. That will change SOON, though, so I should enjoy what I have now!

Susan – MY workout is long? I just did 90minutes – you did 95! Good for us – eh?

Sunny – STREP? Oh, I’m sorry – that hurts! I hope he feels better soon!!!

Jess – Thanks! Working out in the AM is tough, but it keeps me sane! I just need to figure out food to keep the workouts from helping me gain weight! I am hungrier. I really do love Step Blast- it’s a fun one. I love the straddle taps. Sounds like your house is coming together!

Cathy – I had to have COFFEE to wake up today. It worked, but I was fine with tea for the past few days, so I think I’m just tired. How was yoga?

Carole – I think Half Birthdays are a great idea. Any excuse to celebrate I’m all for! Glad you enjoyed your massage! Hope CleanMax and BBBB’s was good!

Shelly – that’s a great idea – the blast only premix of Low Max – I like the blasts, but you’re right it seems long!! I’m glad to groin pull is coming along steadily. Yeah, the slowly sucks, but at least it’s progressing! I can’t believe you ran 6 miles AND did the Gauntlet! I’m totally in awe of you…

Wendy – I think I just need more sleep – but the ole body has to get used to not having it – I was spoiled for a while! And {{{HUGS}}}!!! That was so sweet! I really enjoy hanging out here!!!
