Well, I just wanted to come back and report quickly. I wound up running 4 miles - slow ones - felt like I had legs made of lead today. Followed that up with GS CT. Worked hard. It's a good exhaustion I feel right now. And now I'm off to write this blasted paper...have I mentioned I cannot WAIT until I finish school?

Hey Cheetahs!!
Its late here (9:55) and I better get ready for bed but just wanted to check in one more time. I felt sooo crapy today at the gym. My upper stomach was sooooo cramped during almost my whole entire workout. Its funny cuz I didn't feel this way when I jogged 4.5 miles (nothin too fancy) this afternoon (which the weather accually let me do:+) But when I went to the gym i was all cramped. And this was like 4 or so hours after my jog. I was doin a quick warm-up on tread an my stomach cramped all up. I felt this way for the majoriety of my w/o but didn't stop. I did biceps, triceps, and alittle bit of abs. I don't have any time for personals cuz I better get to bed, but just wanted to talk. I skimmed through some of the above and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the kind words about me. You guys always make me feel better:) I'll do a quick check in tomorrow morning and will be back around 3 or 3:30 to talk more. Hope you all have a great night! Your guys are awsome;-)

Hi Laurie, by the time I can check in all good Cheetahs have gone to bed! 9:25 here. My 9 year old is still mad at school bed times. He's upstairs so I have time to use the computer..
I did my 6 miles today. I'm so proud of myself. I started running again at the end of April for the 1st time ( nd without injuries) since my pregnacy 10 years ago. I'd start out too fast and get hurt and then quit. When I ran 10 years ago, 3 miles was my max.
I wonder Laurie if you are getting enough water. The few "uber" women runners I've talked to tell me to make sure I'm well hydrated durning the day as well as for my run. Just a thought.
I'm going to make a list of all the Cheetah names and post them by my computer so I can make a proper hello.

You ladies are so sweet for checking up on me :). I did fine on the elliptical! In fact, I even tried to run a little, since when I first got to the gym, all the ellipticals were taken. I got a little winded with the running, but I probably could have managed fine, except one of the ellipticals opened up and I decided to jump on board :).

Saturday's the true test, since I'll be running my last run before the half! *gulp*
