Okay, I am back to finish my personals:)

Linda, great workout! I like the gym style series, but I find the weight workouts to be a little long. I have been thinking about doing a gs style rotation and cutting out some of my cardio sessions to get it all in. I have never been good at cutting down on cardio, because that would mean I would have to cut back on my food as well}(

Shelly, that is so sweet what your mom did as the tooth fairy. My hubby picks up silver dollars at the post office and that is what we give our girls. Ally had to have a special little box that we saw at this kids boutique. It is just for the tooth fairy. My other girls put their teeth under their pillows. Sounds like you had a great run!


Jackie, That is funny about fooling the tooth fairy. One time my hubby and I did not think the other one put money under my 8year olds pillow and we both did and she ended up with quite a bit of money;-) I think she is starting to question the whole thing. Kids are way too smart these days. I hope you find a 10k. If not do the 5k and just be the best}(

Today, after I pick up my girls, I am registering my little one for Kindergarten. I cannot believe my little Mariah is growing up. I like her just the way she is. I love spending my afternoons with her. She makes me laugh and smile all day. She shows me what the important things in life are. Sorry, I got a little sentimental there.

Well, I am off to guzzle some more green tea and put some laundry away. I did end up doing Cardio and weights and it was just okay. The workout kind of bored me and I usually really like it. I find that ever since I got my heart rate monitor I am more competitive with my workouts. Am I ever not going to be obsessive;-)

Just a quick pop-in to say I just came in from a 4-mile run...Slow & sluggish but I feel good having gotten everything in today.

Gotta hop in the shower - chills are settin' in. I read through all the posts and will do personals in the AM, I promise.

I’m back. Rode the Virtual Reality bike at the gym today – that was fun. Got in a great sweat. Very needed. Again – you ladies are wonderful.

Judy – {{{HUGS}}} back at ya. You’ve been going through some really rough times. Your friend sounds like a man who will be sorely missed.

Carole – you’re making me want BBC more – I love fun workouts with hot men! :p Got my spin in. I’ve been saying that Tucker’s in heaven keeping my mom company. I’m sure he’s playing with your dogs too.

Jackie – that must have felt wonderful at P90X L&B. Sounds like a great workout. Thanks for the hugs.

Linda – thanks. I’m happy to share his memory with as many people as I can. I know it’s kind of an odd thing to have a screen name after your dog, but it started as a yahoo account for my Search Dog emails and realized that it was unusual enough that I can usually get it to work for any other log in.

Shelly – Yes, you and the rest of the Cheetahs have been wonderful. No worries, I’ll never change my screen name. I like thinking of him every time I see it. Hope your run was wonderful! (You need to get an Aussie to run with you! :+)

Susan – you’re making me cry again! You’re just soo sweet. Thank you! It’s really been helping to know that I was lucky to have the time I did with him. Not everyone gets the chance to be such good friends with another species. And I had to smile at the image of him up there wiggling that furry tush of his. I’m sure he’s very popular up there. Thanks sweetie.

Cathy – great job on the run!! Hope you’re feeling much better soon!!

Hugs to all. I actually have an interview on Monday with a different company – one 1.5 miles from my house. The job sounds perfect for me, too. I’m tired of spending 1.5 to 2 hours on the road. I want something closer. Wish me luck! If I get it, we’re thinking about getting an Aussie puppy in a little while (two to three months), so hopefully I’ll have the flexibility to run home a time or two a day to spend time with him.
 
Hi chickies.

Sorry I haven't been around much today. I've actually been more in lurking mode. I've been reading but wasn't much in the posting mood.

I ended up taking a rest day today. My head was uber clogged so cardio was going to be quite difficult to accomplish and I was NOT feeling like lifting weights...not even light ones!x( I thought about yoga but then remembered that you are supposed to breathe through your nose...uh, yeah right! LOL So that didn't happen!:p

So instead I made 2 trips to the store and cleaned. I also intermittently was lazy and tried to nap and/or relax but it didn't work too well...LOL

I still feel yucky but I'm scheduled to work tomorrow and I'm going. I could have called for coverage but it's only a few hours and I don't want to sit in the house all day tmrw.

Hopefully I'll feel a bit better tomorrow so I can work out and I will catch up on personals too!

Everyone ready to jump on thier PC's at noon and sign up for the RT tomorrow? I'll be home from work in time and I'm soooooooo excited!!!!:7 :7 :7
