Happy Friday, cheetahs
Last night, I fought myself to do Core Syn – not because I don’t like that w/out – I was just feeling kinda beat. Would you believe that about 30 minutes into it I started to get blurred vision? Yep, a migraine came on. I tried to work through it for a bit but had to stop & call it a night. Grrr! Today after school will be some yoga with Rodney. Fingers crossed there are no snafus this time.
Marcia :: sounds like giving up one class will work better for you at this point in your life. Yeah, I guess I have been a little tired this week – sounds odd since I had an extra day off on Monday and am just coming off a long break, but I guess the combo of hectic days at school and slightly whacked sleeping patterns have thrown me off.
Judy :: interesting approach on the legs ~ I may try that. But I do still have a month on the X. How’s the new glass top?
Gayle :: have fun w/ the walking competition. Sounds like DS is gonna give you a run for your money!
Christine :: yeah, I noticed the low # of posts the other day, too…hope you enjoyed lunch w/ your team…4 years of college in San Fran sounds like it would be an incredible experience…and it’s not too far from you, right?… A KPC/B&G premix does sound good…can you post what you wound up doing?…I think you are probably right that the video is getting too much coverage…unfortunately, I think it does give other unstable individuals the idea that they will be glorified…Bouncing Jimmy! I love it.
Carole :: I know the media saturates us with the info over and over again, but I am watching this with great interest for reasons that I guess are obvious. We’ve had some good conversations in my classes and have talked about how we all need to pay attention to one another and not brush it off when it looks like someone is hurting or could need help. The kids said they would try to befriend or at least be nice to those who seemed to keep to themselves. But I wonder the same thing about what makes these kids blow…And why do the parents not see that something's terribly wrong?...The manifesto and images are so creepy…I’m really glad to hear about John’s progress…having feeling in his quads sounds like a good sign.
Susan :: (((HUGS))) Oh, man…I’m sorry about Mary’s news, but I’m hoping that an aggressive treatment plus a positive attitude and her incredible support team will beat the mess out of this thing. Here you are, being a rock again for somebody else…I hope you have someone to lean on, too.
Jackie :: Sounds like you had another great workout…I peek at the Bosus whenever I’m at Target, but I noticed that thing never goes on sale. I better just keep looking for now. But it sounds like you get great w/outs with it.
Wendy :: spin followed by yoga sounds like a good plan…I see DH’s point about the guns…but still feel as you do that we ought to tighten up the process some more. I heard that it only took ½ hour for Cho to obtain the gun…maybe mental health records should be part of the background check…I completely agree w/ you on the parent responsibility when it comes to guns.
