Good morning & happy Friday, cheetahs
First, some personals...
Marcia :: hope you enjoyed your first night’s rest on the Sleep Number bed!
Shelly :: rock on with your 6:40 pace!!! That's fantastic.
Gayle :: enjoy a break from running today after those three monster training sessions you whipped up for yourself!!
Kristi :: Don’t know if you’ll get to read this today, but I agree – some self-doubt is perfectly normal…when I ran my half, my longest training run was a 10-miler, and I kind of feared how those last three miles would go. Enjoy your day off!
Heather :: wow, you’ve been extremely disciplined! Good job! I am in a sort of unintentional recovery week, and I hate it, too. I’m not letting myself be TOO bummed, though, b/c I’m hoping my doc can help me here. I’ll see him today – fingers crossed!
Carole :: Ya know, I'm past the age where I really look forward to birthdays, but b/c of the anticipation of BBC, I can't wait for this one!...Re: the Accutane, I think it *will* be effective for me in the long run (it's worked GREAT so far!)...I just have to find a way to beat the tiredness. I will *not* be happy if this is how it's going to be for the next 4 months!!!
Emily :: Great job on your TM run!…yes, I’m on Claravis, a generic of Accutane. This is month two. The first month went well – it started working right away and the only real side effect was chapped lips. In the second month, he kicked up my dosage and since then, I’ve been dealing with muscle & bone aches (particularly after hard workouts), dry lips, and the worst, as far as I’m concerned – extreme fatigue.
Jackie :: How does Ripped 1000 compare with RTTC?
Jess :: have fun in St. Louis! You guys sure have been on-the-go.
Susan :: hope today’s adjustment leaves you feeling good.
Wendy :: I’m surprised they would call you out of class to change Joey’s diaper…don’t they do that in daycare?…How horrible for your friend…You said “had” considered suicide, so I hope, too, those thoughts are past tense!…As far as kicking butt…uh, no…I flopped on the couch and slept from 5:30 pm on. Again—seriously. UGH! …Congrats on your new step!
Karen :: welcome back! Great job upping your miles.
Yesterday I didn’t work out – I zonked out at 5:30 and slept right through the night. I do feel rested today, so I’m going to do RTTC in a few minutes. Then tonight it’s off to who-knows-where (probably somewhere in VT) for my surprise ski weekend. There could be some rain showers on Sunday, so it’s up in the air how much skiing we’ll be able to get in, but at least I’ll be burning lots of calories on Saturday to make up for this rest/recovery week.
Have a great day, ladies! I hope Christine is OK.
