Carole :: Oh, I'd say that was a disappointing surprise for you this morning, but you seem cool with not doing the relay, so I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! Have fun watchin' the games!

I just finished lesson plans for the rest of the month and am now going to settle in with the movie Searching for Bobby Fischer. (I have to write a paper about it for one of my grad classes.) I am making good progress on the workload. Then, I still need to get to my workout.

Re the t-shirts...I would also prefer a wicking fabric...Just didn't know if the price would impact anyone's decision. The $20 quote was for a one-color, one-sided process, and that did not include shipping. I will do some more comparison-shopping, but I'd guess that we are looking at $25 per shirt with a one-color process, more if there are more colors. I'm waiting on a price estimate from one of the more reasonable printing companies I found and will let you guys know of the findings.

Cathy :)

Carole - sorry you didn't get to run! But, you seem okay with it. At least you get to see the exciting playoff game between Seattle and Chicago! Wow!!

Cathy - I voted. I have no issues with $20.00 for the t-shirt plus shipping, but I absolutely understand if that's pricey for some. No worries. Thank you so much for doing this for us! You're the best!

Wendy - good job on cleaning - not one of my favorites, either. By the way, after hearing you talk about it, I ended up doing YogaX. I liked it better than I remember. Just some of those pretzle moves get me!

Well - better get back to the game as Chicago just won, and now it's time for the Pats to play. Oh yeah, those Charger guys too... :+

Elaine - (((HUGS))) I'm so sorry for what you are going through, depression is a very hard thing to deal with. I can only try to understand what you are going through because everyone deals with things differently. I will offer only one thing, and please take it or leave it, but this helped me when I lost my dad three years ago.

I made sure to FEEL whatever came over me at the time. Some days would be fine and I'd make it through. Other times it would be his favorite song on the radio and I'd lose it. I tried never to cover my feelings or try to hide them because I knew that they would just be buried to only come out later in life and much harder to deal with. So, please let yourself FEEL whatever emotions come across and deal with them at the moment, I personnaly have found that I can move on quicker now if I just accept that some days will be better than others. Some days are just plain nasty and I want to be left alone to cry, but then the next day I'm fine and move on to a great happy day!

OK - I'm sorry if I'm rambling on and remember this is just what works for me and I thought you might find some use in it as well. :)

TAKE CARE and we are here for you!
Marcia.

Cheetahs,
I did some more hunting and found a place to do the wicking shirts for $19.79 each (that was based on an estimated order of 10 shirts). Now, shirts are light, so I can't imagine it'd be more than $3 apiece extra for shipping. So we'd be looking at no more than $25. I say we do it!! Here is some info on the shirts. They are available in white, gray, black, and navy.

Welcome back Marcia!!!:)

Well it's probably a good thing I canned doing chest and back a day early because my back is DOMS'ing big time today! Yeowzers!}(

I am very excited to do the work out tomorrow now that I have the chin up bar and the push up bars. I tested out the push up bars and it seems that they will make all of those push ups alot easier on my wrist...I wonder if you can do upward dogs with your hands on a push up bar??? LOL My wrist bugs me then too. ACK, I'm fallin' apart! x(

I never did get to the grocery store today. I didn't go in the morning...that's where I made my mistake. If I don't get out before DS' nap time to run errands then I usually don't run them. :-( I guess I'll go tmrw...I thought about going after DH gets home tonight but I sooo do not feel like it.

I cooked dinner for us all tonight. Joey and I ate already and DH will eat when he gets home. I made chicken and I created my own marinade for it and stuck it in the oven. It came out very tastey!:9 I mixed together lite italian salad dressing and some grated parmesan cheese for the marinade. I let it sit in the fridge for maybe 30 minutes before cooking it and threw some parsley on top right before to make it prettier looking. Oh and I served it over noodles. Since it was mainly for DH I put butter in regular egg noodles(the horror!-LOL)and put the chicken over the noodles for him.I ate just the chicken for dinner w/some of the broccoli I made and wow was it tastey! :)

Time to go make me some coffee...YUMMO! I'll be back!

Well, it's after 11 and I'm just about to get off to bed now. ACK! I hate when I stay up this late cause I undoubtedly do not make up the missed sleep time in the AM so I just end up dragging all day. :-( I can't even nap tmrw...too much to do!

Sleep tight Cheeaths!:)
