::CHEETAHS::Saturday 9/23::

Christine: yes I am in SJ too :). And woohoo, hope to see you at the RnR Half! I'll let you know what my bib number is as soon as I find out.

Katrina: my next half is in two weeks! *gulp* And then I have another one two weeks after that. I may have gone off the deep end this time ;). But I couldn't resist--San Jose is having its inaugural Rock N' Roll Half, and I gotta show some hometown pride, you know?

And I skipped the stability ball abs for KPC. Was too pooped after the actual kickboxing workout!

Jennifer

>Jennifer, Wow, you are doing half in two weeks. That is my
>next race as well. I think I am going to wait until February
>to do it. I am not sure yet though. I may decide to do one
>November. We will see.

Woohoo, go Susan!! You can do it! It's really scary thinking about it, but once you do one, you'll want to keep doing them over and over (well, maybe not during the actual event, but definitely soon after--kind of like childbirth, from what I've been told LOL).

Jennifer

Thanks everyone! :)

Karen, did you race yet? How did it go?

I'm thinkin' of our Jess and knowing she'll be kickin' some serious bootie tomorrow!!!:+ }( :D

Cathy, I haven't looked into HOW to get there either yet. Maybe I should do that BEFORE I decide to do this, huh? LOL Why don't you do a little search for a race for us as well and see what you can come up with as well? Maybe you'll find something more preferable..ya know never know! Two sets of eyes are better than one, I always say! Let me know! :)

Okay, well I gotta start gettin' ready for the faboo dinner that awaits me! We are using a GC that we have for a fancy italian place down the road from us! :9 :9 :9

great photos, Wendy!!
Seems like just a few minutes ago you were just venturing out for your first outdoor run and now look at you go!!!!!

OK, I just finished KPC & SS. Am gonna hit the showers momentarily.

Jennifer :: ME is a good punishment. }( :) I love the GS series as well…it still ranks as my favorite, but now that I’ve added more titles to my home library, I really like having the variety.

Colleen :: hope you had a good 4-miler.

Adri :: lol…hey, remember not to lump all of us teachers together, will ya?

Katrina :: I am still strugglin’ with those darn pikes!

Christine :: the site did give me an error message yesterday, but after a few tries, it finally loaded. Sorry to hear about the achilles pain! Handling it wisely as you are probably means you won’t *have* to walk the half. Happy healing vibes comin’ atcha. Just curious…where do you get the FitTV versions? I’ve never seen them anywhere and it is not one of the channels we get here. Very exciting that you may have two job offers to choose from!!

Susan :: I do like ME but decided to try SS for the first time. Life got in the way of my workouts a little bit this week, too. I’m hoping things settle down now that I’m entering the third full week of school.

Barb :: I have only tackled ME & BC once each since they arrived a few weeks ago. Both are seriously tough, in my opinion. I usually do most of the workouts straight through…I’m going to have to give the mix & match option a try sometime.

Wendy :: Sure…I’ll look into a few options as well, and we can decide from there. Enjoy your dinner/night out w/ hubby tonight!

Cathy--I like mix & match because on some days I want to work some muscles in a certain order because of DOMS or DOMS-lite -- so it's nice to mix it up. Or sometimes I like to do all legs on ME & then go back and do all upper body....

Great job on the KPC & SS! hard workouts.
