Cathlete
Hey Girls!

Hopefully Cathy is sleeping in a bit since she has the day off today. :)

Just wanted to get us started. I'll be back with personals.

Good morning Cheetah babes!

Please accept my apologiy for the little tirade yesterday. Could ya tell I was just a wee bit torqued? I am embarrassed to say that that little bit of work did me in last night...was asleep by 7:00. Can't wait to see what today's full day is gonna do to me:rolleyes:.

Wendy - So what kind of workout do you have planned for today? I hope you're still gonna go easy on that knee.

Cathy - I'm with Wendy and hope you're still in bed getting some great zzzzzzs. I'm glad you got out for a nice little run last night...it was a lovely evening. Yay that all the body parts have finally stopped protesting and have accepted that you ARE gonna do this! Ugggh, I'm so sorry you got held up at work, too, yesterday...what is with everybody lately:rolleyes: lol? Crackin' up about the bumble bee reference...at least I'll know how to spot ya:p.

Jackie - Maybe the problem doesn't lie with UML...maybe it's just gotten too easy for ya, babe:D!

Dallas - Hey, great to hear from ya! So sorry that your schedule has been jam-packed. I hope you're able to visit with the Chitown Cheetahs! Hope the soccer tournament goes well.

Posh - Wow, congrats on the two post record girl:cool:!!! It looks like you've got quite the to-do list going on. I hope you have a fantastic time in Chitown!!!!

Gonna go refill the java and chill for a couple of minutes. BBIAM!

Morning, cheetah dears!

Nope, ladies, didn’t sleep in. I turned my alarm off last night so I could sleep to whenever, but oddly, it went off, anyway, this morning. Checked it, and it did indeed say, “off.” *lol* But that’s OK. I don’t mind being up early.

Dallas—it will be great to meet you if your schedule allows!

Posh—know you’ll be busy runnin’ today, but I hope you can peek in here. I still have weight to lose, too. I’m tellin’ you, I think we’re gonna be sole sisters out there. J I am so, so appreciative of you running this with me and Carole and Christine coming out for support. You guys have no idea what it means, and I will be sure to do the same for each of you someday—if not in Napa, then for sure some future race GTGs!!...Busted a gut ‘bout surviving the day to chow on some pizza. Oh yes, we are absolutely on the same wavelength. The McDonald’s locations are actually runner update centers—they’ll be set up with laptops to help spectators track the runners. But you might have to hold me back from runnin’ in for a quick cheeseburger. J

Wendi—hey, you had every reason to be torqued. Just goes to show you better stay outside of a two-mile radius of that place on your days off!...Yeah, although it was short, it was actually a good, hard run yesterday—fast, for me. J It was one of those days, I just wanted to get out there and pound pavement. You know how that is, I am sure!…Thanks, the body parts have been feeling really good since I took the more aggressive approach.

For the **CHICAGO CREW**
I was unable to make online reservations for the dinner at Tuscany on Saturday. According to opentable.com, they are booked solid. I will call the restaurant directly to confirm whether or not that’s the case. If so, then I will book us an alternative (Italian seemed to work for all), and we can always cancel if it’s not to someone’s liking.

The ongoing weather updates now suggest it is going to be warmer than initially anticipated. From the marathon website:

According to the advance local weather forecast, the weather on race day is projected to be partly cloudy, with low temperatures in the low 60's (degrees F) and high temperatures in the mid 70's (degrees F).

Based on this forecast, the Event Alert Level is Yellow/Moderate, which suggests less-than-ideal conditions for marathon running. Please be aware that conditions may change prior to race day.
Today will involve schoolwork, packing, map studying, a run, and a chiro appointment.

Have a great day, all! :)

ARRRGGHHH! I was happily typing away and had just clicked on the tab to open a new IE window to start personals when IE decided to shut down. I couldn't get it back open. Had to restart my computer and that seems to take FOREVER! I'm back though....FINALLY! Dang re-start cut into my posting time though. The nerve! LOL

So what I was "saying" was I'm not sure what I'll be doing today as far as a work out goes because my biceps are still on fire. I'm thinking of doing an upper body work out omitting biceps. Hmmm.....

Tomorrow is my scheduled rest day and then saturday I will do some EXT time and the Centergy class again. Sounds like a good plan pre-race, no? :)

Wendi: Sorry about your crappy day at work y'day. Hope today is better for you. No worries girl, I'm keeping the knee safe until race day! :) I can't gaurantee you won't still find Jari annoying and infact, she COULD talk about carbohydrates during the leg work. I don't know though as I didn't do it!

Karen: Hope the calf is feeling good today. Go get that foam roller girl!;) Sorry to hear your mom is still in pain with the stones. I feel for her. DH had stones once. Not fun. He was in tears from the pain.

Jackie: I didn't hear Jari talk about carbs BUT I didn't do lower body. Perhaps she mentions it there. I'll let you know after my race! :D Enjoy your day!

Cathy: Glad you had a great run last night. Extra glad that your achilles and hamstring are behaving. Excited to leave tmrw? What time is your flight? So will anyone be bringing a lap top in hopes of an opportunity to post updates for us not lucky enough to be there with you? :)

Dallas: Thanks for the good wishes for race day. You are sweet. :) Enjoy your time with the Cheetahs. You are gonna LOVE them even more in person! :D

Okay girls....I'm outta time over here! I'll finish up when I get home later!

Buh-bye!:D

Good Morning Cheetahs!

Wendy – Oh good! I might be able to handle Ripped and Chiseled. Did she keep talking about how many calories she was burning? Don’t you simply HATE computer malfunctions? Seems to me that by now they should work better!

Wendi – I’m glad to hear the kitties are home and happy! Sorry you had to work like you did! That’s nuts! You are one tough girl with all the work you do, then all of the workouts! Holy cow! I think we should have a Chili Cookoff! All of the Cheetahs when we have a GTG should bring a recipe and we can try them all. :D Fun times! I love kitties like that. I miss my Bootsie – he was a riot.

Jackie – Jimmy has a very expressive face. He often makes me laugh. Yeah, with all those darned push ups, I guess you wouldn’t need any equipment. Any pull ups?

Cathy – Two more days for me, but… I’m so excited to go! I’m now kicking myself for not coming in on Friday. Bummer about the restaurant! I'm happy to take over the chore of finding a place for dinner if you want me to. Just let me know how many. It could be that if we're willing to break up the group, they can seat us - but I'm not thinking that would be fun. Those temps sound good to me – but that’s what I run in in the early AM all summer. How are you doing? Nervous? Excited? Ready to puke? I know exactly what you mean about loving your coworkers and wanted to chat, but needing to get things done. Nothing like hoping to leave early, and leaving 3 hours late! I liked that phrase, too – it’s so apt in so many cases. :p

Dallas – you have a busy life!! Wow! Maybe you can join us for dinner Saturday! That would be fun! We want to at least meet you!!! We’re so close!

Posh – I am so looking forward to meeting you! We are going to have a riot of a time. I tell ya! I liked that phrase, too – a friend of mine said it me (about me, too!) and I had to laugh. Jimmy doesn’t exactly roll his eyes – he lays down on the floor with his head on his paws and just watches me with this “Oh brother! Whatever is she up to now?” look on his face.

Karen – Sure, six weeks in major pain (I understand Kidney stones are the only thing more painful than giving birth). I would go back and tell them that another 2 weeks is not acceptable and let’s get it done now! Amazing the way doctors treat patients sometimes.

Today I think I’ll do Mental Toughness. It’s a little more steady state and it’s a fun workout. I’m getting excited to leave! I’m going grocery shopping tonight to get it out of the way. Fun, fun. Hey – are any of you ladies bringing dressy clothes for dinner or anything? I’ve been out to good restaurants in Chicago in jeans, so that’s not necessary, but I was curious. As I forgot to add the recipe yesterday, here it is today (it’s very easy – one of those quick weekday meals):

Eggplant Stew

Yield
4 servings (serving size: 1 cup stew, 3/4 cup couscous, and 2 tablespoons cheese)
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cubed peeled eggplant
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 1/2 cups (1-inch) bell pepper strips
1 cup chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium zucchini, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 (14.5-ounce) can no salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (6-ounce) can tomato sauce
3 cups cooked couscous
1/2 cup (2 ounces) grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Combine first 3 ingredients in a large microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave at HIGH 8 minutes.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper, onion, garlic, and zucchini; sauté 8 minutes or until onion is tender. Add eggplant mixture, basil, and next 5 ingredients (basil through tomato sauce) to pan; cook 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve over couscous; sprinkle with cheese.

Christine—I was not planning on bringing anything dressy. It'll be jeans and the granny shoes for me. :) There will be 9 of us for dinner. I was thinking we might have luck with breaking up the group, too, but Tuscany didn't have anything available even for parties of two. Maybe elsewhere we'll do that if need be. I looked into a few alternatives earlier this AM already—LaFontanella, Bruna's, and Bacchanalia, all of which received some good reviews on either tripadvisor or metromix. Heard of any of those? You surely know the city better than me, so I am open to anything. I am excited with occasional pangs of nervousness. *lol* Yes, there was one, in fact, moment when I felt like puking, but it passed.

Wendy—personally, I think I would try a light & easy run to try out the knee...JMHO...yup, still pumped! I am not bringing a laptop, but I can tm you after the finish. Would rather keep it low-key on the boards.

Good morning cheetahs:D Never did get around to posting yesterday. Had too much to catch up on before bedding down for the pre work nap.
I got in a nice easy paced 4 mile run and then did some KB work with KCM's step boxing. Today will just be some upper body work... maybe PP or SS... haven't delved into them for a bit.

Christine- Mental toughness today? Love those workout names!!! The eggplant stew recipe looks delicious! Copying that one:D

Wendy- Race day weather looking good!!:D:D Have you got my cell phone #? I plan on showing up for registration around 8-8:30 or so. Still don't know if I'll have DH in tow with me or not.... we'll see!

Cathy- Those temps look a tad warm but not really too bad.... at least they aren't forecasting the awful heat wave like last year! You have a packed schedule as always! Hope you are getting enough rest!

Wendi- I don't have the time to go back and check to see what your tirade was about.... probably about that demanding job of yours!
Harrisburg is an hour away from me. This weekend tho I'll be a runnin with Wendy and then have to scoot back to work Monday nite:(
Do things settle down for you I hope after this show?

Judy- I made your Alfredo Spinach Lasagna the other nite.... Fantastic!!
DH liked it too.... Thanks!!!!

Sorry I don't have time to backtrack and say hi to everyone else this morning... got to hit the sack. I'll only have time for a quick nap tomorrow morning after getting back to work before the 4 hr drive to NJ
but I'll try to get back and post again.

tata

Cathy - Any of those sound good - pick one and get us there. If the reviews are good, chances are the restaurants are. :p I've only been to Chicago once, so I'm hardly an expert. If either of them can accomodate all 9 of us, go with that one. In downtown, the restaurants are all pretty good anyway - tough to stay in business and pay those rents without being pretty good.

Shelly - Hope your days calm down soon! Sounds like you are enjoying yourself though. You're heading back to NJ? Going to help DH's parents? I'll bet you're tired of traveling.

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...Yes, I did get the nutrition site working again. Very frustrating for an anal person like me!! LOL about the Evil C's and thanks for the explanation. I am sure we might have quite a reputation from this upcoming weekend! Awesome news you are feeling so good after the run last night...:D...Any restaurant you like will work for me Sat night. I think that kind of weather is not bad at all for a marathon.

Wendy...IA with Cathy that you should try some running, especially before this 18 miles.

Wendi..Glad the kitties are happy. So sorry about the nasty work issues yesterday!! sending {{{HUGS}}} (no apologies nessesary!)...Thanks..I enjoy being nuts!...:D..YES, I did finally get into the nutrtion program yesterday!!

Christine...Mom is doing well. She might get out next week and move into Karen's house! I might know more about that today. The Nutrition program is working also for me, but another poste is still having problems and I know that is very frustrating. As far as DH...I know getting away will be a good thing for me..:)..We might even have to engage in some male bashing conversations...WOW..that was one long premix yesterday!!..LMBO about a few clowns short of a circus..2 more days, I can hardly wait!!!

Linda...the nutrition site started working for me again yesterday, But there is another poster that is still having issues! LOL..I still have some of those old Buns of steel workouts...:)..good jon b with the 7 miles and Buns workout yesterday.

Jackie...I am sure my Mom is anxious to be out of the rehab facility. She will not go home, but to my sister's. You are so right about the marathon. I didn't get those P90M workouts. I sub weight work for many push-ups too.

Judy...Yes, I am closest relationship wise and living nearby to this sister. It will be very convenient for visiting Mom..:)...attempting splits!!!...Yeow...:)

Karen...I am sure sorry about your Mom's pain, that has to be awful for you to see. Continuing thoughts and prayers for all of you...

Dallas...I sure hope we can meet up in Chitown...:D

Posh..so glad Smokey has made some improvements. Cute story about him rolling around. I think that IS a good sign for the marathon if you felt you could do more in your workout yesterday! I think the joke about the Evil C's was for Cathy, Carole & Christine...:)..Loved your long version of a request...:)..4:50 is a great time for a marathon, and as I have always said, who cares about slow!! I do think you will benefit form training with more long runs. I will be happy to share my training plan with you, so I will PM it most likely after Chicago, as I might not have time before...:)..BTW...I am sure you should get and EXT!!!

Today is legwork and an easy 4 mile run.

Have a great day...:)

I"M Done I"M Done I"m Done I'm Done I'm Done. Now say that while singing and doing a happy dance. All my traing schedule have been crossed out and all my runs complete. 3 months of hard work done. My last run today was 3 miles, UB, and abs. Now off to shower. I can't wait until tomorrow which is my rest day and expo day. Go Chicago Girls and LBI girls.- BBL :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Good morning Cheetahs!

Cathy - Ooooh! Can't wait to see the bumblebee pics! :D Guess your co-workers had nothing to do after work. Glad you were able to get a good run in. Funny with the alarm. It wanted you up for some reason. Glad to hear the marathon temps won't be near as bad as last year. Have fun and good luck on your first marathon!

Dallas - Hey, Christmas will be here before we know it! Hope you can make it to Chicago this weekend.

Posh - Busy day for you today! At least everything will be taken care of. Have a safe and fun trip to Chicago. Good luck with the marathon! Send a wave to my sis as you fly over.

Wendi - We're hear to listen to anything good or bad. Better out than in as my dad always said. Maybe that's it!! UML is too easy for me! I want to feel worked most of the time.

Wendy - Hate, hate when IE tells me it's closing. How's the knee feeling today?

Christine - Couldn't believe Tony didn't have any pull ups in this series. Maybe that's why P90X is extreme. Enjoy Mental Toughness today. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Shelly - About to get back into your routine? Enjoy your workout today! Hope you get sufficient rest before your drive. NJ is where the race is, right?

Carole - That's great that you mom may be released soon. Glad she'll still be pretty close to you. Enjoy your legwork and run!

Karen - Congratulations on finishing your training! You deserve a treat! You're going to do great!

I did iTread #5 40 minutes and Yoga Zone Yoga for Weight Loss. Got in a 4.1 mile pace run.

Enjoy your day ladies!

Good morning!

It is getting close for all of you Chicago bound Cheetahs! I am so excited for you all! (and envious! ) I hope the weather is perfect for you guys!

Shelly and Wendy – For some reason I was thinking your race was later! Good luck to you guys, too!!

Posh – LOL….yeah, but the funny thing was it was at the last mile that she was telling me to slow down :) But trust me, that was a fluke! I was just having a good day. That is not the norm, trust me!! :) But thank you for your faith in me :) Great job on your 5 mile run yesterday! Awww! I could just picture Smokey rolling around saying, “See, I am fine! Nothing wrong, here!) I hope he is 100% soon!

Wendy – Yes, the Spirit of the Marathon is on DVD. I tried everywhere yesterday and no one had it! So I ordered off of Amazon. That sounds like a great pre-race plan! Good luck!!!

Christine – That is so funny about how Jimmy looked at you during the “football runs”! I liked that workout! I haven’t done it forever! I hate, but “love” curtsey lunges! :) I always get DOMS right in the spot on the outside of my lower glutes. But I “hate” doing them!! Good job on your workout!! Thanks for the recipe! It looks good! And it looks like something “I” could do! ;)

Karen – I am sorry your mom is having such a hard time! She is so young to be going through all of this. It is especially hard when she was normally such an active person! I hope the next procedure gives her relief! You weren’t rambling! ((Hugs)) Great job on getting in your all of your training runs!! Woohoo! I know it has to be tough finding a way to fit it in with all that is going on!

Wendi – Thanks about my run….but I need to stress that fact that I am slow! I was just having a “better than normal” day! I am so sorry you had such a rough day yesterday! I am glad that you got some rest, though!

Jackie – LOL….yes, I sure do remember the legwarmers and headbands! :) I think a pace group would be great! I wish they had them in my race! Where is St. Jude held? I will have to try UML!

Cathy – No, seriously…I am definitely not a “speedster”! :) Just had a good day! I am slow, Definitely….and that is okay with me….as long as I finish! Are you leaving today or tomorrow? I am sure you have probably said and I missed it! So, do you think the disposable would do the trick, or do you think it wouldn’t really keep you warm beforehand? I am so glad you felt great on your run last night! I may have to check out those Grandma Slippers! They looked like they would really be comfy! Yep…I am pretty tall. 5’9”. I always wanted to be 5’3” – 5’5”. Mean ole alarm clock! LOL. Hope you got some good restful sleep, though! I had to order my “Spirit” DVD from Amazon, as nobody had it .

Dallas – I have missed you! I hope you get a chance to go to Chicago!

Shelly – Good plan on the workout! And good job on the run and KB!Good luck to you this weekend, too!

Judy – Hey there! Hope your day is going well!

Carole – I am glad the site started working for you! Enjoy your run and legwork!

I don’t feel very well today, at all. So…I did “nothing”. Zilch.! All of my joints …elbows….wrists….ankles…shoulders…need I go on? ;) Plus I had a horrible headache. I decided I needed a rest day.

Linda

Carole – ITA about the frustration with the Nutrition link not working. It IS frustrating because we count on that to keep us on track. Hope your mom will be able to move into Karen’s house next week! That would be great! I’m always up for some male bashing. :D I did about 90 minutes of the premix. It was a long one! I’m counting the minutes!!

Karen – congrats on finishing your training! Here’s to a great run on Saturday!!!!

Jackie – oh bummer – I have the pull up bar and everything! :p Oh well. Great workout today!!!

Linda – oh that recipe is sooo easy – it’s one of those “under 30 minute ones”. It was delicious, too. Yes, those dreaded curtsy lunges got me in that spot, too. It’s on my rotation for next week, too. :p Get some rest and I hope you feel better!!!!!

Is anyone else giddy today or is it just me. I'm so happy for all the races this weekend. I can't think of anything else. I'm trying to figure out which streets are closed and how early I should get there. This race is so big to me. I keep getting emails about photos, d chips and all sorts of nifty emails from the Baltimore Marathon people. Plus every time I turn around there is another commerical on tv about it this weekend. i live about an hour away from the marthon. It is in downtown in between the Ravens Stadium and the Orioles Stadium. My packet pick up is at Ravens stadium. I mean the heart of downtown with all the traffic and the inner harbor. I'll figure it out.

The weather for Sat now says 75 with humidity. My worst fear. I would rather it be cold and rainy then humid. Oh well it's sun screen and body glide for me.:cool:

Cathy- Oh I'm so excited for you. I wish I could be with you and all the cheetahs if I could. You know I will be there in spirit cheering you on and thinking of you as I run.

Wendy- I'm going out to get the roller. I told dh I have to have it. It will save him a lot of work.:p What time does your race start? I saw your post to someone( can't remember who about family support) Right there with you. The only one who gives a crap about me running is dh and kids. My mom and dad only if I talk about it. Sister probably don't even know I'm running Sat. Your not alone.

Christine- I could use a girls weekend. YOu all should have so much fun. Thanks so much for the Stew recipe. i have to print that out along with Wendi's chili.

Wendi- Don't worry about your tirade yesterday. i didn't even realize you were having one. As many tirades or depressing moment I have had on this forum. You deserve a few.

Shelly- My goodness child get some much needed sleep. You need it for the 18 miler.

Carole- Gald to see your mom might be moving in with your sister. It's good to hear she is on the mend. I saw you mention to Posh you would eamil her your training schedule when you get home. Would you mind sending it my way too. Thanks

Jackie-I am so happy to be done with my training. I feel like I set out and did something all for me. I really stuck to it to the letter and I can't tell you how great that makes me feel. You run was great today.

Linda- What Happened!!! I didn't know you were feeling bad or did it just hit you. You do need a rest day. You can tell when the training is coming to a close. Your body can really feel it can't it???

Now back to school and then off to pick up dd glasses. They are in. She picked spongebob frames. They have bubbles on the side pieces and little spongebobs behind the ears.

Didn't check my wording or spelling so bear with all the grammatical errors.:(

Poppin’ in again…

Had to call it quits with the schoolwork. I’m NOT through all the grading, but I feel like I’ve been in overdrive and need to draw the line. It will have to be OK. I’ve got that rundown, sniffly feeling going on again, so vitamin C is in order and chicken soup tonight. I am determined to stay well!!!

Shelly—as long as the humidity isn’t bad, I should be OK. Hope you & Wendy have an awesome 18 miler!

Christine—LaFontanella’s is said to be not far from the McCormick Center (expo), so I thought that would be a good pick. We have reservations for 6 pm for all 9 of us.

Carole—I think it sounds like a good forecast, too. I saw Bart Yasso (on the RW site) recommended running along Lakeshore Drive. I may try to do that on Friday—what do you think?

Jackie—pics of the bumblebee may never see the light of day! *lol* Thanks for the good wishes…that sounds like the kind of yoga that makes you sweat! Do you find it effective for weight loss?

Linda—I wish you were going, too! Sorry you are not feeling well. I am kinda with you on that…I called Fleet Feet to see if they have the DVD, but no luck. I am sure they will have it at the Expo, though, since it was filmed in Chicago. I might have to buy it and watch Friday or Saturday night! :) You are fast in my book. I leave tomorrow morning and will be in Chicago early…I think the shell will do its job if needed. The shipping was very quick.

Karen—sorry for your mom’s ongoing pain. I hope she gets some relief soon…My GPS always gets lost in Baltimore…*lol*…I am with you, I would rather have rain than humidity. I am also as keyed up as you are! Best of luck to you both with the navigating TO the race and the running. We know you’ll conquer those hills. I'll be thinking of you and Wendy & Shelly, too, and sending strong vibes across the miles. I look forward to reading all the race reports when I get back.

Better start packing. Then chiro, run, and tie up all loose ends.

Hey Chick-a-dees. :)

Well, I so nicely blew off my upper body work out today. I COULD do it right now but I'm not gonna. :p

I do, however, intend to go out for a 3 mile "slog" (Thanks for the term Cathy!;)) when DH gets in from work to see how the knee holds up. It's a little warm out there. I would love to run on the TM instead but I think it's a wiser choice to hit the road at this point.

Providing the above actually HAPPENS then I will probably still take tmrw off and Saturday's work out will remain the same as planned. If I blow off the run today then I will definately get it in tmrw instead.

Cathy: Oh a TM post-mary would be fabulous if you don't mind! I'll probably still be bopping along with Miss Shelly at that point but you know I'll respond as soon as I can! :)

Christine: I have a 3 week Jari/TJ rotation worked out for after I recover from my race. When Ripped and Chiseled comes up I promise I will count how many times she says the words "calories" and "carbohydrates" for you. That way you can make an informed decision as to wether or not you might wish to purchase the work out. ;):D

Shelly: WOW you are gonna be at the race EARLY! Perhaps if I can motivate DH, I will try to leave a bit earlier then previously planned. In any case, I'll contact you when I get there if I don't see your red hat!:D

Carole: Glad you got the nutrtion site working again. I haven't used it in a week. I'm just not into it right now. I'm just trying to eat minimally well. Not too much, not too little, reasonably clean with minimal sweets. UGH. Food is definately my downfall. :( Leg work and a run. My favorite killer combo! Enjoy it!;)

Karen: YAY for completing your training! Good luck in your race and have fun at the Expo! :) My race starts at 10:30 am so I should still be running when Cathy and crew cross the finish line in Chicago.

Jackie: I'm jealous of your run today. Gosh I miss the TM and my Itreads. Can't wait to get back to them. :( Knee feels good as I've been resting it all week. I hope my upcoming "test run" doesn't result in any pain!

Linda: So why aren't you going to Chicago girl???

Well, that's all for now.

BBL!

Cathy: We were posting at the same time! Sorry you are feeling icky! Take care of it quick! Get some rest tonight! I expect you to be feeling FABULOUS when that plane touches down in Chicago tmrw!!!!!:D:D:D

Wendy- I just PM'd you. The registration closes at 0930 and they are busing runners to the start line so you should try to get there earlier.
Jerry and I are staying the night in Tuckerton and it will take us about30- 45 minutes to get to LBI from there, depending on traffic.

Karen- I can feel your excitement! You go cheetahgirl!

Chicago bound cheetahs ROCK!!! Cathy,Christine,Carole (the 3 Cs:eek:)
Hopefully Dallas can pop in! I'll be thinking of you!!!! HAVE FUN!

Hey Cheetahs!!

it's me the poster formerly know as sunny, LOL.

I wanted to say to all and especially to wish MS. CATHY a wonderful and blissful, pain free marathon!! I promise to come back and check so I can read about all your racing details.
Have a great trip!

Hope all is well with everyone...;o)
