Good morning, cheetahs!
Judy :: thanks for the link. The flats I have are comfortable, but when I am ready for a new pair, I'll check out both SW and CH. I looked at some of the CH's while on the Zappo's site--very, very cute!
Linda :: Galloway's cutback weeks were in the 8-10 range, so at Carole's suggestion, I bumped them up a little (11-12) and had it in mind yesterday to push for a few more. But when the migraine happened on Saturday, I knew that wasn't happening. I never feel 100% for a couple of days after. I've noticed Higdon's cutbacks are a little higher, but we will be OK with 10-13. The critical thing, I would think, is sticking with the long runs. Perhaps our experienced marathoners will weigh in. You did great running strong through 11. I bow down to you on that one!!! IA--it might possibly have been the most humid run ever. I was completely drenched. Crossed paths with a few other runners, and they looked to be suffering, too. Cracked up at your GS's comment at the movie.
Christine :: I saw on the Zappo's site that some CH's do not have the Air. That's one helluva tangle with a bear. The poor guy. I was reading a piece in a recent issue of RW, in which a man recounted a bear attack that occurred when he was out running with, I believe, his daughter. The bear basically "scalped" him. I shuddered just to read it. I think I would be petrified to run in an area where I might encounter a bear. The condo sounds awesome!!
This afternoon will be an u/b circuit using the EXT.
Have a great day, everyone!
