Cathlete
Morning, girls! :)

Back to work for me today. :)

Gloria ~ thanks for the link & tip about the cleaning kit. That model caught my eye, too. I'll have to try them on in the store. *lol* You sure you're not getting a kickback from backcountry? ;) :7 I think I've ordered some ski gear from there before.

Posh ~ sounds like things have been intense for ya. That's one wicked bug you had. Hope you and your mom's SO are feeling & doing better. I have had a Camelbak before and didn't have those problems, but regardless of what I buy, I will get the cleaning kit. Good idea!

Jackie ~ what an all-day workout you had there! Whew!...I feel good, but I did crash early. :)

Marcia ~ happy belated anniversary!

Today's a rest day. Will BBL after work to see what's up w/ everyone. Have a great Monday!

"Do you want to feel my spatula?" Run, Fat Boy, Run

hello loverlies!

i have been away from the computer since friday, so i am going to have to go and catch up. this weekend i managed to get in nrolw, sjp step and hi/lo premix, and a mile swim. bf swam with me and i think he really enjoyed it. i wanted to do a mile and a half and just as i finished my mile, it started to rain!x( x( x( oh well, at least i got in a mile!

okay, i will go read this weekend's posts and be back!

Good Morning Ladies.

Sorry to be scarce y'day after losing my personals prior. I am not trying to skate on the personals, I swear!:p Y'day was a busy day though so I really didn't have much time during the day and then by the time we got in last night I was bushed. I think we were in bed at 9:30! LOL

So y'day was my rest day and I ate like a slob at the party we went to x( so I must make up for it today. I am starting stage 2 of Afterburn so I have to check on what my macros are supposed to look like before I start shoving food in my face this morning! :7

As far as a work out goes I am up for 4 cycles of HIIT (most likely on the EXT) plus a 20-30 minute steady state run. The length of my run will depend on how comfortable I feel on the TM.

Well after not keeping up with personals all weekend I am going to start from scratch today. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up and won't lose my post this time!:p

BBIAB to get started!:)

Hi Friends-

We had a non stop weekend and I peeked in but did not get a chance to post. I'm afraid I will not be very detailed with personals from the weekend.

Today is my last day of NROL4W stage 3 with HIIT. I think I will stick it out for stage 4 and 5 which are repeats of 2 and 3 only harder. Then I will reevaluate.

Wendy - I did see your race time; it was fantastic!

Cathy & Kath- way to go on 11 miles

Carole- It must have been a challenge with the smoke in the air to run. Are the fires uner control?

Wow Chrstine, you got in a nice ride in and out door! The new bike must be such a dream.

Shelly- I am sorry the houses you looked at were not all that great.

Gloria- it is nice that summer school is not to taxing :)

I need to go check my email andget started on my day.

TTFN

*kath and wt*-reagarding wonderful books about teaching, i have to shamelessly promote ANYTHING by jonathan kozol as he is a friend and he even flew me up to harvard two summers ago to meet some of the people that work with him. also, "pedagogy of the oppressed" (friere) was wonderful and really changed my views on teaching. another good one is "and still we rise" by miles corwin...SO MOVING!

wt-i am not the least bit surprised that other teachers thought you were in your 20's.you are HAWT!!!

wendi-yah, i scored some really good seats for coldplay! i haven't ever ordered tickets online and i was hoping i would be able to get decent seats!

carole-i do feel like i scored on the tivo. i have had my other tivo in my bedroom since 2005 (the same amount of time they have been charging me for the extra receiver i never had). with tivo i hardly ever watch regulara tv, so if i wante to watch it i have to be in the bedroom. so, now that i have the one in the living room, i am not "stuck" in the bedroom when i want to watch tivo. i LOVE my tivo and it has really changed the way i watch tv. don't you just LOVE that you can rewind real tv (especially when you're watching FOOTBALL?!?!)?
http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_7_1.gif

christine-glad to see you made it home safe and sound. sounds like your trip was lovely-espacially the run along the river! as for your plans next weekend, you have to post some photos of you and hubby dressed up!!!

judy-i am so impressed at your nrolw progress. i hate that i had to start over, but i think i am doing much better this time around.

jackie-the tri reverse sounds good. unfortunately, a bike is the one piece of equipment i don't have. i have never been a big bike rider, but it would probably be nice to have. maybe there's some shopping in my future...

gloria-i *think* i might have averted an all-out cold. since i had been using my neti pot, i hadn't gotten a cold but since i've been out of school, but i haven't been using it that much. i started using it regular again and i think that, along with extra vitamin c, might be helping me from getting an all-out cold *fingers crossed*. as for your email dilemma, a lot of my kids have my email. they have never abused it. why don't you set up a yahoo account that you can give to kids that is seperate from your regular email?

wendy-so tell me (enable me) about the swat workout... your time for the race was awesome. that is odd about your garmin. maybe they did mis-measure? i was with you on the eating this weekend! can you say cotton candy, cherry twizzlers, and peanut butter m&m's? ugh!

shelly-sorry you haven't had any luck with the house hunting. i actually HATED looking for my house! it took me almost a yar to find something and it just felt like such a chore!!! i votee that you shoudl definitely try out the lap pool. i think you would like it and it's a nice change of pace.

kath-i am so sorry about the news regarding your brother and your parents' reaction. i can only imagine how difficult this is for you.

marcia-i have NEVER been good with rotations because i really like to do whatever i feel like doing that day. that said, i have been able to follow nrolw. i think that's because the eorkouts are not that long and i know wxactly what i will be doing as far as weight workouts. i still do what ever cardio i feel like. happy belated anniversary!!! sounds like your anniversary surprise was a good one!!!

posh-good to see you, girl! when you are sick, you really should give yourself a break on the working out. i have found tat wheni am really sick and push myself to do a workout, my workout is usually crap and i don't feel well after. take it easy!

today is nrolw and i will do some kind of cardio. not sure what yet. i am still in "lazy mode."

*Bows head for George Carlin*

Cathy – Let us know which Camelpack you get! I’ve seen some very streamlined ones on some runners. But the ones with some space to hold extras is nice – just make sure your body doesn’t mind the extra weight and cinch it tight so it doesn’t bounce. What work are you doing?

Thomasina - Wow! Hope your mom’s SO is doing okay! And that you’re feeling much better! The fires are horrible, aren’t they? Our skies are filled with smoke – no matter how the wind blows, we have smoke coming into the valley. I was having Cathy avoid the waist packs as she has lower back issues, and the original Camelback rests on the upperback so it’s not as bothersome (unless you’re riding a bike – I might consider the waist pack for my bike rides!). Thanks sweetie! I appreciate the donation in advance!

Jackie – Good job on fitting in a run during a busy day! Hope you had a good time popping your feet up and relaxing! You certainly deserved it!

Lorie – Sounds like a fun weekend, except for the rain! Glad you were able to run! I’ll see what I can manage this weekend. I still have not even found a dress yet! I know WTH?! I’ve been too busy. Craziness.

Jackie – another crazy weekend for you, eh? Enjoy your Stage 3 NROLW and HIIT. I do love my new bike. I was telling DH that it’s like comparing a Jeep Wrangler to his Lexus – both do the same thing, but one is a much more enjoyable ride. :+

Wendy – Enjoy your workout. Sounds like a good one and one that will help with the weekend’s indulgences. I’m with you on the clean eating today! :p

I’m still sore today, and it’s not all in a good way, so I decided on a rest day. I have been pushing it hard, and have not managed to get my eating back on track. That starts TODAY. I figure a day’s worth of good nourishment with a day of rest and I’ll be raring to go in the morning. I’m also thinking I’m going to take a recovery week from weights – realized I’ve been going hard for 5 weeks now. I’ll be doing more kettlebell workouts, and may CS as well. :p Along with my rides. We have fires EVERYWHERE! I believe there are now 4 or 5 in our area (4 counties – one is straddling Napa and Sonoma counties – in the mountains that separate the two – don’t worry wine lovers – no wineries are in danger :+). I do need to get outside and ride, though – my legs and tush could handle the ride easily enough – it’s my shoulders and lower back that hurt because riding real creates different stresses on your body, and I’m sure a filled Camelback did not help. It’s funny as I’ve always ridden with a Camelback, but I’ve been riding indoors so much, that I haven’t in years. I never realized it would affect me so much! Have a great day all!

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...LMBO about your Stuart comment!! (I can see his "jump" as he says that!) I think as far as hydration, you need to find whatever works best for you. Enjoy your est day. How much more work do you have at school?

Lorie...My fav part of Tivo is being able to "pause" during the Football games!! rewinding is also a great feature. I would be totally lost without one. Enjoy nrolw and cardio.

Wendy...Enjoy your HIIT workout today.

Christine...Good workout yesterday. Yes, the smoked socked in all around us last night..yuk! Luckily the smoke does not really bother me running, but my one fast friend has some asthma issues and her chest was a bit sore after the 8 miles. I got in a wonderful nap in the sun. Then tackled some wild blackberry vines in my azalea garden. Very sad about Carlin...:(...it sounds like rest will be good for you today. We are surrounded by fires too. Posh's link has a lot of info.

Posh...Sorry about the crud getting you! I also hope your Mom's So is feeling better, heart issues are scary. The smoke form the fires around us socked in last night...eerie, I tried to capture a pic of the red sun but did not quite get it!! Luckily I don;t run again until wed but the air should be better then. My friend with asthma does have some issues when she runs in the smoke (although, it does NOT slow her down!) We got rain off and on Sat but could sure use it now!! IA MadTV is silly funny!!

Jackie..thanks, I did sleep much better last night! Yes, it was a smoky run, which I can handle, but wouldn't want to do it every day. Sounds like you got a lot accomplished on Sat! Hope you had a nice rest day yesterday..

Judy...the smoke really does not bother me to run in. But I would not want to make a habit of it! Some of the fires have minimum containment, but it'll be another day if fighting them for the firefighters.

I am starting P90X+ today! So it'll be Upper Plus, Abs/core and 40 min on my EXT. Here is a pic from last night trying to capture the red sun (from the smoke), didn't quite get it:

Good morning all - just a quick note and back for personals later if time allows. :)

I got in a 50 minute walk this morning and later I'll do some more Turbo Kick work.

BTW - what's NROLW stand for? (I must've missed that one :) )

Thanks, Marcia.

Morning

I did a 4miler --got caught in the rain x( Headed home to hop on the bike for 40 minutes. SWEATY SWEATY :) I aslo worked my triceps and core.

Lorie: I am not a teacher.

Carole: Neat picture. Fires are close to you as well?

Christine: You put together some tough workouts --that's for sure :) Does the smoke bother you when you are riding ?

Marcia: Great walk this morning.

I'm off to get a few things done today before I do the major shopping for party. DD has asked for a super sweet treat at her grad party (along with the cake) Her girlfriends are stopping in and they LOVVVVVVVEEEEE chocolate. I make a killer chocolate treats. Funny I don't like chocolate HA! :p

I'll be sure to get back for more personals.

HELLO EVERYONE! :)

Cathy: You are welcome for the info. I read Christine's post about your lower back issues. Maybe that one won't be the best. I never had any issues with mine, but my back didn't hurt before I got it either. I never filled it up all the way though. It is wierd, I don't usually get super thirsty on my runs. I must not be running fast enough! LOL! No, unfortunately I am not getting any kick backs from backcountry! :) How was the curriculum work today? Is it an all day afair?

Posh: Sorry you were so sick. I hate being sick, but I guess most people don't like it either! LOL! I had a dog who was scared of the storms. He would pace around, want to sit on my lap and shed all over the place. I love the movie Winn Dixie. You will get back to kicking butt with your workouts.

Macia: Sounds like a wonderful weekend. That was very sweet of your DH! Great getting in the walk!

Jackie: Sounds like you kept quite busy this weekend. On Friday during the school year I usually kick my feet up and watch tv. Nice to do that sometimes when you've been working your tail off. I hope you are having a nice day today! :)

Lorie: That is pretty cool you are friends with Kozol! He is famous in our business, that's for sure. Thank you very much for the book reccommendations. We can keep very busy in the summer with all the good reads out there! I know I always have a list of them during breaks. Thanks for the advice about the email. I wrote her a letter yesterday and put my school email in it. I think that she really liked the fact that I wrote her a letter. She is a good kid who I fear might get on the wrong path. I hope not. You did some great workouts this weekend. I am trying to get better at switching things up a bit.

Judy: Yes, I am taking it easy this summer. Summer school is over on Friday. :) I am on a budget and another job all summer would have helped, but my time is important and would just rather take a break over having more money. :) Enjoy your workout!

Wendy: Busy day yesterday. I bet you were pooped!

Christine: That is sad about George Carlin. Sounds like a good plan to take it easy today. I am sure you will tear it up tomorrow though! :) What PSI should the tires on a mountain bike be? That is the only thing that I need to do in order to ride. I don't really want to take it to the bike shop because they will want to do a tune up and I don't think I need it, since I haven't ridden very much since my last one. Hope the fire dept. can get the fires under control. It seems like you are getting clobbered with all the fires this year.

Carole: Enjoy your P90X+ workout. That red sun is spooky. When we had the fires out in Montana last summer we had to cancel a couple of hike trips due to all the smoke.

Kath: Wow, you usually don't meet a lot of people who do not like chocolate! Now I can say I "know" someone! LOL!
:)

We did our walk this morning. We are doing the 4.2 mile loop I usually run. I am still really sore from HSC! I ran 5 miles yesterday and think I will just rest here and be ready for something tomorrow afternoon. I forgot to grab the kids papers to check. I think they will be disappointed because I have been making sure to get them back the next day. Oh well I guess, just double duty tomorrow. But, that still will only be 34 papers. This is not a bad gig at all! Enjoy your day ladies! :)

Good afternoon Cheetahs!

It's getting harder to post when I work in the office with my manager. Seems like he always has something going on.

Cathy - Enjoy your rest day and your day at work.

Lorie - Great job on the swim! Sorry the rain interrupted. I use my elliptical or run during the bike sections of iTread #29.

Judy - You've done great with NROLW! Are you bored yet?

Wendy - Do understand being busy. Enjoy your HIIT and run.

Christine - Hope the soreness doesn't stick around to long. You have definitely been working hard! I'm sure a recovery week would be just the thing for you. Those fires are relentless!

Carole - Did you get rid of the blackberry vines? You're adding on to UB+ and Abs! I bow to you. Hope you enjoyed it. Nice pic still of the sun.

Marcia - Nice walk. NROLW=New Rules of Lifting Weight.

Kath - You don't like chocolate? That's ok because I love it enough for both of us.

Decided not to do P90X this week. Will sub the Gym Style premixes. This morning I did GS Chest & Triceps Supersets premix, HSC stability ball abs and 5 minutes on the EXT.

Gotta get back to work! Enjoy your Monday!

Jackie

Hello. I'm back for personals and refuse to lose them today!:p

Cathy: Hope work went well for ya today! Enjoy your rest day. :)

Judy: Thanks re my race! WOW I can't believe you are at the end of stage 3 of NROLW already! You are sooo making me want to do that next but I have other shorter rotations I want to do first before committing to such a lengthly rotation.

Lorie: Here's my review of the SWAT work out I really liked:

I just finished the SWAT Extreme weight loss & fat burning work out and I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed it! It's comprised of several different moves like jumping jacks, high knees, football drills, mountain climbers, burpees, push ups, squats, lunges, and various upper body moves. It's divided into 3 rounds and works the body well. He doesn't use weights for the lower body exercises but I opted to. I used a set of 10# DB's for the entire program and feel I got a good w/o. I could increase the weight for the lower body movements if I wanted to but I don't see the need to go any heavier with a circuit work out like this. He separates all of the movements with short spurts of marching to lower the heart rate before moving on to the next exercise. I was fine with that but if you wanted to increase the intensity you could always sub in another higher intensity cardio move. I also did the 6 min ab section and enjoyed it. The warm up, work out, abs and cool down are all separate chapters which is nice as well.

HTH!:)

Christine: Sorry about all of the fires. I hope you and your family remain safe in your own home.

Carole: So how did you like your first try with P90X+?

Marcia: Nice job on the walk this morning.

Kath: OMG, you don't like chocolate!?!? Holy cow, I wish I was you!
;) Enjoy making all those sweet treats while not being tempted to eat one! Lucky girl!:)

Gloria: Glad you had a nice walk this morning. Your summer school gig DOES sound nice. Glad you are enjoying it. Enjoy your rest day! Good job on the 5 mile run y'day as well.

Jackie: So why no X this week? Will you be going back to X+ next week? What's up with your mgr? Tell him to stop keeping you so busy. You need time to chat with us. You DO have priorities and he's gotta know that HE is not on the top of the list!:p :7 ;)

Well, time to get the munchkin off for a nap and then I have some housework to tackle.

Tonight...WE BOWL! I pray for a better night then the last 2 weeks! YIKES!

BBL!

Carole – I just get weirded out at the thought of inhaling all that smoke. I know it’s not a major issue as the lungs to clean themselves up pretty quickly, but still. Hope the fires clear up soon! I’ve been here for 10 years and have never seen a summer like this here, and it’s just starting! Enjoy P90X+ Have you done them yet?

Marcia – nice walk! NROLW – New Rules of Lifting for Women. It’s a great training program. Judy is doing well with it.

Kath – *GASP!!* You don’t *looks around furtively then whispers* like chocolate? Don’t let my family hear that, they’ll all be on your doorstep. :p

Lorie – you’re too funny!

Gloria – I’ll tear it up tomorrow if my back holds out. I don’t know what’s wrong. Your mountain bike tires should be a rock solid 65 PSI. Just pump them until there is no give. Glad you’re enjoying summer school!

Jackie – I’m with you – I think I need a recovery week. Have fun with the GS series! I think it’s fun to mix it up. Maybe because I have the attention span of a gnat.

Wendy – Oh, we’re safe from the fires. The fires are more in the mountains. We live in the valley. It would take a big fire to get us *knocks on wood*. But thanks for the good wishes. Sounds like SWAT EWL is a good one! Have fun bowling!

I’m kind of wondering if the fates are against me doing this ride! First the bike issues, and now my lower back is killing me. I don’t know what I did, but I don’t want to aggravate it. It could have been something like putting the bikes in the car or on the trainer or something. Drives me nuts as I have a strong lower back – just moved the wrong way. (and probably aggravated it by sleeping wrong or something). I’ll work through a lot of injuries, but not a lower back one. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow. If I’m better, it’ll be a lighter cardio workout. No weights.

Okay, after I finished writing that my back hurts, a friend of mine hit me up on the possibility of doing a TRI! It’s a very different kind of tri, so I’m thinking it would be fun. It’s a three day event – the first day would be 5 miles of kayaking, the second day would be a 20 mile bike ride, and the third would be a 10k. There are all sorts of options available, and I can mix and match (like do the 72 mile bike ride on Saturday instead of the 20…). And even better, it’s in Lake Tahoe and my friend who is pushing me to go has family with a big house up there where we could stay for free. :p It’s the weekend before my half, though – so we’ll see. Haven’t registered for the half yet – but DH can do this half instead! *wiggles brows* Here’s link to this tri if anyone (Carole? Thomasina?) would like to join us!

Have a great day all!

Judy...hope you enjoyed your workout.

WT...I remember you telling me about your friendship with Kozol before. Very cool! *ha!* Thanks for the compliment. :7 Glad you avoided a full-blown bug. Reminds me I have not been using my neti pot, either...Glad you found a swim partner in NBF.

Christine...*shares in the moment of silence for George*...The REI near me only had the Camelbak Alterra model (not the non-Camel we both saw online), so I went with that. It is a waist pack, which is what I had before. We'll see if that still works for me. You have seriously been bustin' @ss with those workouts of yours! A rest day sounds in order...And I hope the back pain clears quick! That tri does sound interesting.

Carole...I am just picturing Stuart on the couch, doing those kicks. :7 Today was the first day of curriculum work. We have five more days scattered through the summer, but it's an ongoing process that we have been working on for a few years now and will continue to finetune. Glad the smoke didn't bother you much. I'll bet the sun looked especially eerie in person!

Gloria...I hope to be fine with the Camelbak. Never know. I do have on/off issues with my back, which were exacerbated by a seemingly-minor fender bender last June. But I'm not fond of the belt, so it's worth a shot...I only used to use it during longer summer runs...The curriculum writing today went well, and the day flew by. Tomorrow is not likely to be as interesting or productive as we are using a tedious software program to analyze and spiral the curric. Ah well, it must get done. :) For this week, it is all day but just Mon - Wed. Wow, summer school went quickly, huh?

Jackie...dang that manager expecting you to work! :) Enjoy the GS as a switch-up from the X.

Wendy...have fun bowling.

Have a great night, everyone! :)

"Do you want to feel my spatula?" Run, Fat Boy, Run

Good evening Cheetah babes!!!!

Soooo, my weekend was INSANELY busy and it's going to continue through this weekend so please excuse the random posts that may come your way ladies! I only have time right now to do a quickie check-in so here it is...

Fri - rest
Sat - Imax 3
Sun - BC with DSO }( :D who held his own
Mon - 5.1 miler (44:15) and Imax 3 Step Only premix (no w/u)

Eating has been better overall...no more bingies :). Did enjoy a nice sangria, yummy fish tacos, and a single scoop of ice cream last night for dinner but figured I was allowed since I didn't eat anything after breakfast.

I hope to stop in here tomorrow afternoon/evening to start catching up. Horse show Tues (be to work around 3am...ouch!) and Wed, then heading to my mother's house in MA Wed pm, then back for bowling Thurs pm, then maybe, just maybe, *looks around to see if anyone is listening in* will head down to NJ for Cathe's Fri step class }(. We'll see if there's any fuel left in the tank by then. Anybody want to join me?

Gotta get going on prep for tomorrow. Good night!

wendy-thanks for the swat review. sounds intriguing...

christine-if only you lived closer, we could go dress shopping together!!! i'd help you pick out a stunner!

carole-ITA about the tivo!!! i totally *heart* my tivo!

marcia-nrolw is "new rules of lifting for women." there are workouts based on alwyn cosgrove's book. i am LOVING the workouts!

gloria-i remember the first time jonathan and i ever "hung out" together. it was hard to think of him as jonathan the friend and not jonathan frigging kozol!!! he is truly amazing and an inspiration. i am glad you gave your student a way to get in touch with you and writing a letter was a wonderful idea.

jackie-good idea re: using the elliptical during bike segments. i have the three a month iTrains for 9.99 and i haven't been finding anything i want to download that i don't already have. now, i am thinking i could download #29.

wendi-i wanna join you for cathe's class!!! unfortunately, i am going to have to wait until the august rt. could you come to that one as well? please? pretty please???

so, my tummy started to get pretty wonky after my workout. it was funny yesterday evening and i spent quite a bit of time in the loo (sorry, tmi!!!). i thought i was okay, but was feeling worse after my workout and stayed around the house watching tv most of the day. i hope to be feeling better by tomorrow!

Hello again Cheetah friends!

Christine: Thank you for the bike information. I think I will throw it in the back of the car tomorrow and fill er up. It is nice having your expertise around here! :) This week I think I will be more willing to work out in the afternoon if I can just go for a spin on my bike. It is like running, you really don't have to think about anything. That stinks your back is not feeling too good. x( IA with Cathy on you kicking A@# lately with your workouts. Maybe throw in some yoga too. That always helps me with the aches and pains. That tri sounds VERY cool! I think you would like the variety in training for it. Sounds right up your alley! :)

Cathy: Glad today went well. Your work tomorrow does sound a bit tedious. At least it is only three days this week. You probably don't have to get all dressed up either I am hoping. It is a chore for me to make sure I have clean clothes and iron in the morning. I actually think I will iron tonight so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I have to get in and run a few copies. I hope you like the new camelbak. I really like mine. It never rubbed on anything. Have a great night! :)

Wendy: How was the workout and bowling?

I came home and took a small nap. DH is without his car right now because he is getting the breaks fixed. I had to pick him up from work (he left early) so we went and had a CAB with our friends and came home. He is out floating the river right now. The fly hatch going on is the biggest of the season. They are big flies which = big fish. Can't really pass that up when you are a fisherman. He will most likely be out until 2 in the morning in search of the "biggest catch." Off to write down what we are doing tomorrow. Have a great night ladies! :)

Christine: Ouch on the lower back ache. Maybe you need a massage :) The tri you are talking about sounds like a team sport kinda race. I have a friend who did one of those a few years ago. Sounds like a fun time --esp. the location and place to stay :)

Wendi: Nice workouts there.

I best get to baking.

Lorie...sorry about your tummy issues. Have felt the same re: iTrains, and I sprung for the resolutions package. DOH!

Gloria...For some reason, when you talk about fishing and your DH, I just always picture that movie A River Runs Through It with Brad Pitt and Robert Redford. Forgive my ignorance, but is he floating on a boat? :7...No, we can dress down some, which is a beautiful thing, isn't it? So nice when you don't have to think about the clothes too much! Absolutely--one boring day out of three is nothing to complain about, for sure. We have a new committee member whose phone went off 11 times today, so maybe it won't be that boring, after all :p...Oh, speaking of copies, that reminds me, I have to try to get into my filing cabinet tomorrow to pull the Socratic file.
