:::CHEETAHS::: Monday, 9/18

Hey Sekcy Cheetahs!!
Little cheetah checkin in:+:+ I love you guys!! Your so nice and welocming and when I get home from school you guys always cheer me up:) Thanks for you all bein you!

Ok, todays workout is chest, back, alittle abs, and the Step Extreme class at the gym I go to. I love that class. Its pretty cool. The instuctor uses a move from Cathe's IMAX 2 and calls it knee rock. Can't remember what Cathe calls it.

OMG something really I guess cool but wrong happened today at school. Just thought I'd share it with yea:)

Ok we were outside for about 15 mins today after lunch cuz it was beautiful here and this one girl was really pissin off one of my friends. So to make a long story short, she went over to her, and slapped her SOOO hard that I could hear it from where I was standing (which is pretty fare, but close enough so I could see whats happening) She got in soo much trouble but to tell you the truth I htink the girl deserved it. I woulda smacked her myself, but I'm afraid I'd kill her cuz my biceps, they so damn STRONG}(}(

Anyway, time for a few personals before I get to some stupid homework x(

Wendy- Notin much is really happenin. Outdoor track practice starts tomorrow. O, there is one thing I wanna tell you and all other cheetahs. I think I'm ganna quit gymnastcs. Its just too much. My fav is the gym. I can really focus on muscle building and the ppl there are great. Indoor track I do every year and I love it and it doesn't take up a huge amount of time. Just about 1.5 to 2 hour practice and a meet every saturday morning at 8. Not bad. I just dunno. Plus gymnastics costs 3000 dollars too. Well, just thought I'd let you all know. I still wanna do it, I just don't have to be on the competitive team and pay that much money.

Katrina- Thanks for the link and the info. I was really interested in the Cardio Stack Core Attack when some other ppl were mentioning it and then when you did I just wanted to check it out. Thanks:)

Barb- Thanks for your nice words! I guess I should enjoy my young life. I'm glad I already basically have my future planned though:p I love yea girl:* Thanks!

Christine- Good luck with your interview today. Hope everything went well!! Anyone who doesn't hire my cheetahs is a LOOZA!!!:+ Also, nice workout you did cheetah;-)

Jess- Enjoy your nice (rainy x() rest day! Enjoy Mari Winsor!

Carol- A cheetah like you needs her rest. No wonder your tired girl! You work so hard, you ALL work so damn hard. Hope you workout goes goo though:)

Elaine- Hope you have a great workout cheetah:)

Susan- I liked it when you called me little cheetah! Really cute thanks! I hope you daughter gets well. I hate waking up to throw up
x( Sending you and your daughter (((((HUGS)))))!

Well, have a great day cheetahs! I'm off to Homework Max then Gym Max!}( Love Yea!

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry with your girlfriends.

Adri--even if the girl deserved it, slapping is not OK -- especially for your friend being the age she is. Not good. Hands are for helping not hitting -- as they say in preschools. If words won't resolve it in middle school, walk away, make another choice.....

We'll see what Cathy says about this...

You did the right thing not giving her a pop with your mega-biceps. Take the high road, Cheetah!

Have a great rest of the day! Enjoy the step class. maybe it's the Rock Horse move you're talking about...I love that one!

Adri :: yes, I’m a teacher…That’s why I was getting such a kick out of it when you were saying how terrible we all are. ;-) Thanks for the kind words. You sound like you have a lot on your plate – I can’t imagine being able to juggle it all at your age, so I’d say it’s wise to cut something out. Gotta agree w/ Barb on the slapping issue.

Wendy :: Hey, your times sound pretty fast to me! I forgot Sea Girt was in October. OK, let’s strive for something in November then. I’d like to stick with one race per month for now.

Katrina :: hope you got in some good strength work today. Glad I’m not alone with the DOMS.

Barb :: That is a great story—and deep, so it’s good they’re reading it together as a class. I really like Shiva Rea’s Yoga Shakti DVD…Just received it. The chaptering is excellent, and the scenery is unbelievable!

Christine :: middle school does have its ups and downs—and utterly zany moments, but I really do love what I do. Thanks for the compliment! How’d your interview go this morning?

Elaine :: I like to do spur-of-the-moment also. Carole has me set up with a great rotation, but I’m pushing it back one more week only bc BTS night and a couple of other commitments this week are gonna have me juggling my workouts and rest days. I do have both PH and MM…PH was new—the first time I’d tried it. I think I like MM a little better, but I really did feel the burn in PH.

Carole :: OK, the check didn’t go out in this morning’s mail as I am out of stamps. But soon!

Judy :: I love when you feel strong enough to push it a little farther. Great run! How do you like going it solo? I think you usually run with a partner, right?

Susan :: sorry to hear about your daughter being sick. This is my 6th year of teaching. It’s a second career for me…Prior to that, I worked in politics/government for five years. Isn’t Bryan Kest the one everyone calls Mr. Yummy Pants? Lucky you to be taking a live class!

Hi to Jess, Laurie, Laura, Katie, Colleen, Thomasina, Gayle, Mattea, Pamela, Dina, Wendy Marie, and anyone else I'm accidentally leaving out.

I just ran for 50 minutes - my Garmin wasn't keeping track of pace or distance for some reason, and am going to skip the upper body after all. Have to work on a project for grad class.

Have a great night, everybody!

For all who asked, the interview went really well. They basically told me they will be making me an offer. I guess I just have to decide whether I want to do what they want me to do. I'd be doing Inside AND Outside sales - but local area only, no travel. I'd also be project managing, possibly getting the GSA Contract going, etc. I'm a little leery on outside sales as I haven't done that for so long, but I can give a decent presentation. I really like the women I'd be working with - one is strong and assertive, the other, her sister, is a balance and tends to keep thing sane. And the commute cannot be beat - 5 minutes. I could run there, well if they had showers there.

Cathy - my DD is a freshman in high school, so yeah, I can imagine you'd have your ups and downs. They are all so clicky at that age. But, I am so happy to hear that you love what you do. We need more teachers like you!

Adri - gonna third what Barb said on the slapping issue - nothing like having a whole slew of mom's to set ya right, is there....}(

Enjoy your evenings all!!!

Adri, I was just talking to my 6 year old daughter about hitting. If you hit someone you are acting like a child and you are not a child you are an Awesome mighty little Cheetah!!!!! No hitting! It is not cool. Lecture over.
