Judy...Thank you....:)...My massage therapist really got into the ITB area...she said to me later, that she didn't know how I did not jump off the table when she was massaging that area...:)...Hey, no pain, no gain!!!

Lori: Needles are tougher for the parents, I agree. I hated and still hate seeing Joey take the shots but it's over so fast and he is over it in minutes...if not faster!:)

Christine: I see that you opted out of the leg blast today. Wait on it and do it with me later in the week!}( Misery loves company you know!:p

Carole: Sorry about your sis' dog. I know how hard that is as I had to put our family dog down years ago. I was crying like a baby...

Jackie: Glad you have the patience to keep doing HIS until you learn it. I pretty much learned LIS and haven't even done that one since! It's been a few weeks now! :eek: I love step but my patience for difficult choreography has waned since discovering so much cardio that DOESN'T need to be "learned".

Lorie: Hope you get your DL renewed soon!!!

Kristi: Thanks. :) That's great that you are pretty much done with your holiday shopping. I wish I was. Good job on the 7 miler over the weekend. Have fun watching DWTS and running intervals tonight.

I was supposed to train tonight but ofcourse, everything got changed at the last minute. This keeps happening and it's really beginning to annoy me. x( The up side to it though is that I really haven't had a monday or thursday night to myself in a while now. DH bowls those nights so I've been planning the training on those nights as often as possible. I usually adore DH's bowling night cause once DS is in bed it's ME time. I'll get that tonight...I'm tempted to do some yoga though I probably shouldn't...any thoughts?

Hiya Cheetah Gurls! Long time no see…er, uh, I mean type….

Yeah, I’ve just been a bad little lurker here off and on the past few months. I pop in once in a while to read how everyone is doing but I don’t usually post since I’m so sporadic on checking in and some of the times don’t have time to post all the personals and such.….As usual ya’ll are the very best! The awesomostest inspiring bunch a cheetahs….

H O W E V E R ……..I just had to come out of lurkdom because I couldn’t contain my excitement over MISS WENDY’S running success! DANG, YOU GO GIRL!!! It seems like yesterday I was trying to find you a local 5K…… VERY impressed with your progress!!!!

This cheetahmule has been running this year but it hasn’t been the fastest (well, never been that fast anyway!) because I am grossly overweight, and I did promise my DH I wouldn’t push it so I could finish all the Rock n’ Roll runs this year to get the stinkin’ Rock Star medal. We ran the PF Chang’s Phoenix ½, Nashville Country Music ½, San Diego full marathon, Virginia Beach ½, and the San Jose ½ and yippee we finally get the Rock Star Medal. I’m happy I was able to finish all of the events this year. Now I have to tackle this issue with my weight; I’m now about 40 pounds over what I should be and until I lose it; all of my running events will be extra challenging and sloooooooow. Not to mention how deeply depressing it is to be in this condition. SOOooo, I have set some goals and with baby steps I started an easy Cathe rotation today. I’m also taking before (yuck) photos and measurements so I can track progress. I’ve got to give all my attention to fat loss for a few months so I won’t be training for any “big” runs, just maybe a few 5 or 10Ks here and there.

Whew! I guess this is enough to read for now! Hello and happy Monday to all my fellow cheetahs! You girls really rock and your daily dedication and accomplishments are a huge inspiration to me!!

I just ate some pizza for an early dinner and will chill a little before getting to yoga. My Collage order arrived today http://forums.s2kca.com/images/smilies/whee.gif , so I may be doing some previewing instead of adding on extra cardio tonight. Will see what I have time for since I still have some schoolwork to do for tomorrow as well. I know I won't be doing any ab work as I some serious DOMS from yesterday. Man, that BOSU spanks ya!

Lori :: good for you being able to lose at the holidays…you’re quite the freak of nature! ;) Agree with you on the VS shipping…your rotation looks good.

Shelly :: I don’t deal w/ large crowds too well, so I HAVE to be organized…My new rotation allows for 4 flexible days of cardio and only 2 guaranteed runs, so the EXT will fit in quite well and I’ll have the freedom of some spontaneity. Hope you enjoyed the core work and stretch.

Judy :: I like that – the sisterhood…Do you use your EXT w/out iClimbs, too?…I’m intrigued by Mr. Buff Body. :)

Wendy :: thanks for the info on the Glutamine…good to know in case I ever up my mileage again…how did it taste?…Seems that, yes, we’ll be opening the gifts on X-mas Day…Too bad we couldn’t see the photo. And the earmuffs! :) I say go for the yoga. A good stretch would be good…Also, I think you should charge your clients when they cancel. I know they’re your friends, but they shouldn’t take advantage of you. It is not easy for you to juggle your schedule around with a little one, and they should be able to understand that.

Christine :: I’ll post the rotation separately…I didn’t do any ordering…I have to wait until payday this Friday to finish up my shopping. How long will you be in Chitown?

Carole :: so sorry to hear about DS’s dog…that is awful when you have to do that…glad you went with her for support…So you toughed it through some pain at the spa?…Love buying new running/workout gear! What’dja get? I love the high-tech fabrics and how cool the styles are now. I wear some of my stuff even when I’m not working out. It’s funny, when I think back, I can’t believe some of the hideous, wild-print shorts I used to wear.

Jackie :: I have my eye on some other iClimbs…The membership makes sense…I am also going to try an iTread and see if that makes the TM somewhat more palatable to me...that's great you are picking up so quickly on HIS.

Kristi :: welcome back…glad you enjoyed your T’giving…good job not gaining…25-35 lbs? I’ve seen your pics and can’t imagine you need to lose that, girl!…I am *loving* the EXT. Enjoy DWTS tonight…I was so outraged that they sent Jenny home and kept Marie!! :)…A couple of people dredged up some really old threads…one was a roll call that was 40-some pages long…Several people posted alerts that it was an ancient thread, but they just kept posting and posting to it either without noticing or deliberately to rile others…That one was just annoying…But then someone else unearthed a thread about a sensitive personal issue someone else had – again, it was about a year old. That one esp. needed to be removed.

Thomasina :: well, it sure is a pleasant surprise to hear from you! :) Congrats on your rock star medal and best of luck with your weight loss goals. Hope you drop by more often.

I will have to think about what to do about the training thing. My BF isn't a problem so much as the other gal is. She only comes one time per week as it is and is always changing days or cancelling! x( She's also robbing BF of getting better results because I can't do split routines with BF since the other girl is only there once and we do full body. The best I could do w/BF on the other day is lower body one week and upper the next but that seems like a waste! ACK! Ah well...I'll figure something out!:)

Off to give the little guy a bath...BBL.

Lori – The rotation looks good! I agree that VS shipping is crazy. But, being tall, I have to order so much stuff on line because the stores do not stock longer sizes.

Jackie – I have only done HIS once – it just ticked me off because it was so complicated. Maybe I need to revisit it. Can you do this one low impact?

Lorie – Great job! I did my half with Grace, and she really helped. Cold, rainy days always put me in a funk, so I’m with you.

Wendy – YEAH! IF you’re feeling less creaky (you crack me up girl), we’ll do B&G tomorrow. Are you doing the whole thing or the Leg Press premix? Does the other gal only came with BF? Could you possibly do a split and have the other girl practice at the gym? Hope it works out!

Kristi – Glad to have you back in Cheetahville! I’ve had my Secret Santa present for a while, too – just need to wrap it up and send it out. Enjoy your Dancing Run!

Carole – I’m glad KD went peacefully. She’s up there playing with Tucker now, and waiting at the bridge. It’s so hard, though. Glad you were with your sis. Good purchase on your running outfit! Hope the IT Band issue goes away quickly!

Cathy – enjoy your new workouts! Which ones did you order? Yes, the BOSU can really work you hard! Glad you’re enjoying it so much!

Hey there Cheetahs!!! It was terribly busy today at work! I thought it would be a quite week, but I was sadly mistaken! I feel wrung out!! :-( Oh well. Such is life ;-)

Cathy - Ooohh! I love it when new DVD orders come in! Enjoy previewing and playing around with them! Okay then...Christmas Day it is! :7 I don't think 2 lbs is bad for a holiday gain. It is probably fluid and will disappear in a day or two!

Lorie - So you decided to go ahead and workout? Wow! You did good! I like using Grace outdoors, too! She does push ya! We weren't allowed to use our iPods on my 1/2, so I didn't have anything and I really think I could have done better with it and Grace! Good job!

Sunny - Enjoy 4DS and KB! Are you still really busy with your training? I remember a few months ago, you were swamped!

Wendy - Enjoy your "Me" time! I wish I could have seen your 1/2 picture! It took me to a place to where I had to sign in?? Are you liking training?

Carole - Oh my! I am so sorry about your sister's dog. That is really sad. That was really good of you to go with her. It has been almost a year since we had to put Morgan (my lab) down. It tears your heart out. Glad the message helped some!

Judy - Hope you enjoyed your spin class! You guys are making me want to do a spinning workout!

Jackie - I think the iTreads and iClimbs have really been helping my running too! I love them! Good job on the HIS and 4DS! I am loving those, too! Isn't great to have such fun workouts! I will renew mine, too....but I have until March.

Christine - I ordered something online for a friend at work. I did a lot of online ordering over the weekend!

Shelley - Enjoy the core work and stretch! I am really excited about your and Carole's race!

Wendy & Christine :: I ordered Amy's Hi/lo Dome Challenge...Kelley Coffey-Meyer's Step-boxing, and CIA Double Cardio with Sharon Twombly and Seasun Zieger (one of the w/outs on that is a BOSU).

Wendy :: I agree that's unfair to your BF. I don't think you or she should have to change around for the other girl. I would maybe come up with a policy where you give your clients three strikes (cancellations) and you're out. Or charge them a fee. That might sound harsh, but I think sometimes hitting them in the pocketbook is the only way to be sure they respect that your time is valuable. Hope you figure something out that works better for you!

Christine :: oh yeah, that BOSU has my utmost respect! Love the tail-wagging doggy back in your sig.

OK, now that the schoolwork's done, it's time to go log my foods on WW and then hit the deck for some yoga. No add'l cardio tonight. It's getting too late.

Carole - Glad everything went well with DS dog. Glad you enjoyed the massage. I'm sure the foam roller will help that ITB. Don't need any little pains before your race. Love getting new workout gear.

Wendy - I'm doing a rotation next month with 4DS and Slo Mo. Should give me a pretty good chance of learning the steps only to foreget them when I don't do the workouts for awhile. Hope you enjoyed the "me" time.

Cathy - Enjoy your new workouts! Love working with the Bosu! I'm doing all of 4DS workouts without previewing. Thought I did pretty good with them. I'm doing the Hi/Lo Dome Challenge tomorrow.

Christine - I just take some of the jumps out of HIS especially the ones where you jump over the step. I like a challenge though.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of you new work outs! I'm always up for a good enable!}(

My problem with getting tough on BF and her friend by charging a fee for cancellation or whatever I decided to do is that these girls don't love working out yet. They are still in the "it's just a means to an end" mode and I fear the smallest thing could give them an "excuse" to quit. I'd hate to be that "excuse" which is why I have been trying to be as flexible as possible with them even though it's been wearing on my nerves. x( .... I know, I can't have it both ways. UGH! I guess I'll let it go for now and see what the next few weeks bring. If they try to schedule more then a week in advance I am going to suggest that they don't do it since they tend to change it anyway and go from there...

I've decided not to do yoga tonight afterall...too lazy.:p I am hoping to accomplish B&G LB premix tmrw though so I don't feel bad! }(
