::: CHEETAHS ::: I don't like Mondays, 4.16

Hey cheetahs :)

Just finished Crunch Fat-Burning Yoga instead of YogaX. Now I’m hungry…I’ve been noshing all day…not TOO terrible but still…it’s the appetite that will never die!!!

Jackie :: I know – I do feel for those folks running out there in this mess. Hope the foam roller helps loosen up the legs some more.

Carole :: great to hear that John’s team did so well! His involvement reminds me of one of my former students who played sled hockey at a local ice rink – I caught a game or two and was just blown away by the kids and their sheer physical and mental toughness. She has CF but never once complained or asked for help or had anything but a smile on her face. What an inspiration she was!…I am liking BBC a lot…So far, I’ve only done the non-TM cardio of Arms & Abs and then Legs & Butts, which was OK. I swear, they use slow clocks, though! *lol*…What a lineup you’ve got today!

Christine :: Did DD get into NYC OK? Hope it dries out for her trip. Nothing worse than slogging through the city when it’s coming down like this. So, Jimmy’s a howler? Too funny.

Jess :: nah, no one loses cheetah status for cutting back on the running :)…you’re still good!…how’d Kiersten do at the GI appointment?

Susan :: how is your friend?

Shelly :: nope, nothin’ crazy & sweaty here…just stuck to the plan for today.

Wendy :: Hmm, what I did today...I actually read two young adult books (I bought about 15 new books for the classroom this past weekend), puttered around, worked on future lesson plans but didn't get too far, and knocked out a yoga workout. OK on the 29th…sounds good!

So I did not attend my running class tonight. I had a headache and it was stilly rainy and quite cold outside. I just wasn't in the mood to run outside wether I paid for it or not so after dinner I picked myself up and went to the gym. I did Itread set 2/20 mins. It was enough considering my head was still hurting a bit and by the time I got there is was already 8pm and I was tired...

Tomorrow is the BBC Butt and Legs burner. No cardio is planned but I may decide at the last minute to sneak in a short one to flush the out the burn... }(

Christine: I went and checked out Jimmy's, Tucker's and Kimo's pages on the dog website. How cute!:)

Have a great night everyone!:)

Cheetahs Check-in

This was another Monday of persevering through my circumstances. I started fighting a sore throat last week. I had a tickle in my throat last night and a coughing fit at bedtime that kept me awake until well after midnight. I was tired this morning, but I pressed on and did the Butts and Guts leg blast premix with all those walking lunges and firewalkers. Oh my! I love this workout. I am planning to alternate this one with Gym Style Legs.

My eating was clean today, and I drank plenty of spring water. I was wiped out after work, so I took a long nap. I hope I can sleep tonight. I still have a tickle in my throat. Hopefully, a Benadryl will knock me out and take care of this itchy throat. My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow, so it is time for a warm bubble bath and a restful night of sleep.

It is late, so I need to sign off and catch up with personals tomorrow.

Blessings,
Heather B.
