Good morning, cheetah friends & happy administrative professionals day to anyone who may be one! :)

Not too many posts from last night to catch up with…

:: Marcia :: hope kickin’ back on the couch with DS helped you relax some & you were able to bank some zzz’s. I agree that this is a phenomenal group of women…the ongoing camaraderie & support is priceless! I would never have expected to find that in an online forum, but I am truly grateful for it. :) Anyway, no need to apologize - we're here for ya, so feel free to lean. :)

:: Jackie :: I missed Dancing with the Stars last night but saw who was booted. I’m surprised Cliff has hung in there as long as he has…Yeah, that energized feeling that sets tone for the day is what I miss most. I *have*, on a few limited occasions, worked out at this hour, but I find that I am pretty sluggish and need time to “wake up.” My ideal w/out time would be somewhere between 6-9 am.

:: Heather :: good workout yesterday…enjoy KM today.

I opted for a rest day yesterday and am staying home from work today. Something is not right w/ my eyes...I suspect pink eye. They are swollen, still red, and itchy. I am going to call my eye doc first thing and hope he can squeeze me in. In between trying to claw out my eyes, today's workout is to be S&A and ARX.

Good morning ladies,

I am happy to report i have some nice DOMS from yesterday's kickboxing workout:7 so i will need to switch around my workouts. today will be B & G overall legs premix.

cathy- i sure hope your eyes feel better. i had bad allergies a few weeks ago so much so they made me miss my race because my eyes were so swollen:( . please tell me again where you purchased your weighted handgloves. thanks.

That was Tracey's High Intensity KB, right? I may need to comfort myself with some shopping today :)

Oh yeah, I remember that you had to cancel your race...hmm, I wonder if it could be allergies...I saw my eye doc recently and he suggested that I may have them. And he is actually the 2nd doc to say that. When I had a physical done for my job a couple of years ago, the school district's doc suggested the same...I guess I sort of dismissed it...but I suppose it's possible. Either way, I'm sure he will give me something to get some relief!

I had a pretty good nights rest, but I'm worried about DS. I'm hoping this morning he can walk on his foot otherwise we'll be off to the doctor today with him. x(

I have circuit class tonight, can't wait - a good workout is just want I need.

Cathy - I hope you eye feels better, soon, good thing you are calling your doctor. Sounds like pink eye to me, too.

Hey guys. I dozed off toward the end of Dancing with the Stars, so I'm clueless on who got booted. Will have to check that out after the bus.

Marcia-hope DS is okay. It's just plain sad when the kids are hurt or sick.

In the spirit of tapering, lol, this morning was Yee's Power Yoga Total Body. LOVE IT so much! I'll be cutting the grass today with the push mower, so that will count as extra calories burned! LOL

BBL after the bus and a few rounds of mowing.

Yesterday was an easy 3 miler. Today is a rest day. I'm sure my coworkers have it all planned out to take me out to lunch today for Admin. Professional's Day. Nothing much to report here. Same stuff, different day. I'll try to check back later.

changed my mind i am going to do amy b's lower body workout from all pump extreme.

cathy- it's the new cardiofest dvd. it has two workouts on it. plus premixes. thanks for the link.

kristi- no it's not hard at all. i guess i am just used to the daily grind. have fun with your admin lunch!

Cathy...I know it is never fun to hear about the clean eating being the key to results. I will say I find that is true more as I age. I bet if it was a style you would see a raised red bump. But now reading your post it does sound more like pink eye or possibly allergies. The Doc should know...have fun with S&A and ARX.

Wendy...good job with iTread and BBC fullbody!

Shelly..now that is a great surprise finding out you PR'ed!! Contemplating is the right word! It is actually a run/bike/run. With the miles being 3/7.5/3. Hope you had fun with my favorite BBC workout. Good run too!

Gayle...so your DS is a Cowboy fan?...How cool...:)

Marcia...good luck with the upcoming tests. Those emotional times can be tough. Sorry...sending {{{{HUGS}}}}...hope your DS's foot is better today.

Susan...I thought you'd like the view in BBC S&B!...but honestly the different shoulder exercises are really fun to me. Sounds like you are back to running! Just take it easy...

Heather...funny you mention clutter. I seem to be swamped in it!

I am doing I am doing Karen Voights GWW floor leg section, abs, GS C&T and a 40 min iClimb.

Sunny - I tried that KB workout for the first time this morning. I hope I get DOMS from it! (people would think we're nuts for wanting DOMS!) I liked it....but it is going to take me a couple of times to get some of those upper body combos! I really did like that there were a lot of kicks!

Marcia - I hope DS's foot is okay! Have fun with your circuit class!

Gayle - I almost bought that yoga DVD the other night because you are always talking about how good it is! But...I put it back. One of these days, I am going to get it! :)

Kristi - Good job on the 3 miler and enjoy your rest day!!

Shelly - I did get to try out 2 of Tracey's workouts this morning! I did the KB Sweatfest one and Sculpt Sweatfest. I loved Sculpt...because it was really different and kind of functional fitness with some different types of exercises. She used the bosu for one legged squats and squats. I liked that. KB was good, too. But I will need to do it a couple more times to really find out how I feel about it. Like I told Sunny...I loved that there were quite a few kicks!

This morning's workout was Cardio Sweatfest (Kickboxing section) and Sculpt Sweatfest. I did the KB in place of Kenpo for my recovery week. I think Sculpt goes well in the recover week, too!

Linda...last time I did GWW my quads were sore for days, and that was using a 2lb ankle weight! Sounds like a good workout for your recovery week.
 
Good morning Cheetahs!! I'm feeling good today!

Heather - Great mix yesterday! Hope you're feeling more rested today. Pickles have too much sodium for me. I may have a couple of slices every now and then but mostly try to avoid them. Good luck with the decluttering of both body and home.

Cathe - I'm surprised Cliff and Billy Ray have both hung in there. Guess that fan base has kept them in it. I see these two being in the bottom two next week. Even Ian may slip there too. 6-9 am is an ideal time for workouts. I feel the difference in my runs on Saturday when I start at a later time. Sorry for the eye problem and hope it clears up soon.

Sunny - Are you planning on using weighted gloves with Tracey's kickboxing? I purchased mine on Amazon.com too. I have the 1 lb.

Marcia - Hope ds foot is ok.

Gayle - Glad you enjoyed your yoga workout. Enjoy your grass cutting workout.

Carole - ITA about the clean eating as we age. It has made a tremendous difference in my body. I like Ian but think Apollo will win. How do you like Karen Voight workouts?

Linda - I like Sculpt Sweatfest because of the different moves too and of course, using the bosu. I'm anxious to do the kick boxing now. Glad you enjoyed them both.

My schedule called for 6 miles speedwork. I used iTread #13 30 minutes - all sprints. I always do it twice to get in the 6 miles. I like the stretch at the end too but added some extra to make it 15 minutes.

Sunny..GWW is Great Weighted Workout and older VHS from Karen Voight. You can probably check it out at Collage Video.

Jackie...I actually thought Ian did better than "they" said last night! Karen Voights are the older workouts I have some of. They use lighter weights but at hig rep. I like the ones I have but I do forget about them form time to time!
 
Sunny - GWW is Karen Voight's Great Weighted Workout. It is a low weight - hi rep workout. It is very long...but I love it!! I should do it more often. It is pretty old!

Jackie - I don't have that iTread. I will have to try it! Sounds like a good run!!!
 
S&A and ARX are done and I am enjoying a smoothie as I wait for my doc’s office to call me back.

Jackie :: oh yeah, Billy Ray – I forgot about him, too. Agreed. I didn’t see all of the dances this week. I like Apollo but enjoy looking at Maks. :)

OUCH! My lats are fried from yesterdays BBC shoulders and back. I ended up doing 3 miles on the elliptical in the evening to get a little extra cardio in. Today I am going to run 3 miles and do BBC chest and abs.

That is so funny you guys mentioned GWW by Karen Voight. I so remember doing that workout along with all my firm workouts and Gin Miller workouts. That must have been almost 15 years ago, wow. That is a good workout.

I have a an adjustment today. I am doing 3x per week right now and then I will go to omce a week soon and then if all goes well once a month.

Indian food was wonderful as usual. I could have eaten more, but was really trying not to go nuts. I am so all or nothing. I either have to eat everything all day or just a tiny bit all day. I am a freak}(

I am off to take kiddies to school and will do my BBC workout. Have a good day and will definitley try to get back to chat more with you ladies.
