:::CHEETAHS:::GIT ER DONE TUESDAY!!!

Speaking of weak stomachs,[b/] Gloria [/b], my dog just puked right next to me in the bathroom while I was using the toilet and it STINKS! x(

Gloria ~ thanks for posting that...sounds tasty!! :7 Oh, I've heard good things about that one, but I have not read it. In terms of kids' books, right now I am reading The Wednesday Wars. It's set in the Vietnam era and is about a 7th grader who thinks his teacher hates his guts. :)

Jackie ~ so, you're doing a variation of those WW incentives. Great idea to tailor it to mileage...I'm wondering if maybe it is a Vista issue? I don't know, but I did take Carole's advice and updated the anti-virus, spyware, etc. Hope that does the trick. A nice & balanced workout today for you as always.

For today's workout, I opted for a GS Legs mishmosh, 'bout 40 minutes worth.

Have a great night, everyone! Hope Shelly's off celebrating good news!

Christine..our skies are clearer today too. I was sad hearing about the Big Sur one too...beautiful area. Hope they get it under control soon. Sorry about the sore throat and fever! Glad the back is better though. Sounds like a busy day, maybe get some Airborne...:)..Or, if you know anyone that sells Young Living essential Oil's, I use their Thieves oil for my immune system, one drop in my coffee every morning and it has helped tremendously.

Gloria...working through that calf pain can really help! Refrigerator cleaning can be not fun at all...good luck.

Cathy...Glad to hear "Word" isn't freezing so maybe your ISP? Not sure where the Bomber is today but I am sure it is out there. The skies seem clearer. Thank you so much for the continued prayers for John and his family. Way to go working those legs hard!!

Jackie...The Bomber is just huge and I am sure it is helping so much here. I am not using the perfect push ups for X+ but I am using regular push-up bars. IMO I would stay away from Norton or McAfee as in Anti-Virus as they are resource hogs and can bog down your PC. Avg is a very good free alternative: http://free.avg.com/ I was happy about the dentist!! You are so right about yard work, it is never ending. great cardio workout and then yoga today!

Wendy...sounds like a good TM workout today. I just did squats and calf raises, but upped the weight on squats!! I forgot too I still have to do Abs/core later! Way gross about your dog...x(

I did get some leaf raking done. And tidied up the PC room, seemed to have a bunch of DH's clothes laying around. They are stuffed in the closet now....:D

Hey, Carole ~ Hmmm, I guess it could be the ISP. I'm hoping now that everything's up-to-date, it will eliminate the problem. Hate losing long posts! Take all that time for personals and then *POOF*! :) ...Do you sell the Young Living essential oils? I remember you posting a link before...Nice to get some raking and cleaning done...The calf raises in GSL burned like heck today! I should do them more often. I just take for granted that running hills regularly will do it. But hooboy, they were screamin' -- and without any weight!

"Do you want to feel my spatula?" Run, Fat Boy, Run

Hey Cathy,

My calves tend to be on the weak side but doing P90X Legs and Back for a couple of months always helps! That set of calf raises he does are KILLER! Too bad those dvd's are not chaptered better or I would add my favorite parts of those work outs into all of my rotations! }(

Cathy...another 2 question's. How much RAM do you have and what version of Vista are you running?...I do my personals in Notepad and so far I have been safe. I am a Distributor for Young Living but I don't sell much, I just like getting the oils I use for the lowest price. They are kinda pricey but they last a long time...:)...I agree, anytime I ever do the calf raises in GS my calves are sore, same with the calf raises in 4DS..YEOW!!!!

Well you can ff through the work out to get to any of the exercises but that's about it. If the exercise(s) you want are towards the end of the work out it will take a while to get to them. :-( Tony does 15 slow and 10 fast with toes out, ski stance and toes in for a total of 75 painful reps!}(

Jackie: I too am impressed with you working out at 4:30. I get up early, but have to have my coffee and news in the morning. My calf is feeling good, thanks. Nice combo for a workout today. Do you have itread 15/60 min.? I purchased it a long time ago, but my ipod was full. Now that I am getting a new one I am looking forward to downloading it. When they took away my credits I wonder if they took my downloads too?? I will have to check.

Wendy: UUUUUGHGHG NASTY!!! x( Sorry about that. I would get in that fridge and get it cleaned out. LOL about them walking away on their own!! :) Very nice workout today.

Cathy: You will like the hummus I bet. You're welcome. That book sounds good. Our book is about a family who lives on Alcatraz island because the dad is an electrician and guard in the prison. It is funny. I have heard that GS legs is a calf burner!
}(

Carole: I think my workout yesterday really did help with the calf. Sometimes if I am having pain I can't decide whether to just workout or rest. It is nice when the kinks get worked out all by themselves. Funny about DH's clothes. You know that I am not a stranger to that! :) Great that you upped the weight on your squats!

Today I tutored and ran errands all day. The fridge did get cleaned out and luckily there wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I didn't even gag once! LOL! Unfortunately, I did not work out. This will be my rest day of the week. Ladies, do not let me forget that I already rested this week if I try to pull this again! ;-) Thanks!

Hi to Judy, Shelly and anyone else I missed. :)

>Oh, I do remember those now. Yeah, they are good. I confess,
>though, I have no patience for ff'ing! :p :) But that's easy
>to add on your own.

Yeah it is actually an easy add on with out having to involve the dvd. I expect you will add it in to your new rotation now! }(

Cathy: You are right, too many good books out there. Speaking of which, I have to get reading that book for school. It has been a week since I last picked it up. I have been too much of a busy body! I was taking in the garbage today and thinking of gross things, wierd I know. Anyway, I was thinking of the part in Loser where Zinkoff's friend is talking about making the ear wax candle! EEEWWW, so nasty! The kids were apalled by it as well! LOL! :) Do you like Gary Paulsen? I love him! My favorite books (young adult) are Hatchet and Brian's Winter. I love survival stories. I also like futuristic stuff like Lois Lowrey's The Giver and The Messenger.

Okay Cheetahs. I made up a rotation for two weeks to give me a little structure and I thought I would start out small. I will begin with this week with what I have already done. Here it goes:

WEEK 1
M-Run/yoga
T-Rest
W-Gauntlet
Th-Run/yoga/abs
F-DM
Sa-Run/yoga/abs
Su-Run (7.3)/yoga

WEEK 2
M-LIC/HSC/BC (what I feel like this day)
T-Rest
W-Run/yoga/abs
Th-Run/yoga
F-Yoga (long) Maybe abs
Sa-race (9.3)
Su-Rest and or yoga

This looks good to me, based on how sore I will be with the weights in the circuits, when I get my new ipod and the race coming up soon. Any suggestions are of course welcome. I am just thinking that this will keep me on focus. Have a great evening!
:)
