Morning, cheetahs!

It'd been so long since I had to actually report in for jury duty, that I'd forgotten just how
mind-numbinghttp://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/loosingitsm.gif an experience it is. Though my number was never called (luckily) and I did bring reading material, the sitting and waiting
http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/waiting.gif was the pits. But I'm GLAD I will not have to deal with that for another 3 years.

So onto personals:
Lorie ~ I still can't believe "The Saint" was yellow-carded. That was so bizarre. Saw the cutest clip on YouTube--the boys were drenching the photogs outside the locker room in champagne...Glad you've kicked the crud to the curb. Is the Aruba countdown on yet?
Christine ~ The Fab 40s workout looks good...Sounds like a great time was had at the dinner party. Pic, please! :7 I can see why you needed a bit of downtime after being on the run so much.
Carole ~ Thanks for sharing that video. Those water bombers are so cool. So have you been seeing them load up and refuel?...I will do some comp maintenance today I've probably neglected--thanks for the reminder...I'm totally cool with Germany not winning. Of course, I would have liked to see them do better, but Spain was most definitely the best team of the tournament, and they were so fun to watch. It was an exciting tourney altogether, with late goals and surprising upsets and great performances by Turkey and Russia...I hope John can rediscover his purpose and spirit. I imagine it does take a long time to come to terms when you're dealt a blow like that.
Gloria ~ Running followed by a yoga is such a nice combo. Glad your calf is feeling better. How long is your tutoring session? Your iPod is due to arrive today, right?...Sorry the soup was only so-so. It's good to experiment, though...Jury duty is the worst...The European Championship and World Cup are each every 4 years, and they overlap like the Olympics. I get really fired up for both 'cause it's my only opportunity to see international-level stars playing...I did see an artice on the
Freedom Writers issue. Odd.
Shelly ~ So glad to hear your sis & BIL are safe, and things are quelled for now...sounds like a lovely property you found. Hoping everything falls into place for you.

Judy ~ Glad you enjoyed your weekend with DD22...I have seen Pollan's book in passing but did not pick it up. What is the basic premise behind it?
Jackie ~ Sounds like another full weekend for you...well, I would've liked to see Germany do better, but I have a lot of respect for the Spanish side and believe they absolutely deserved the title. So yes, I'm happy for them that they won...Re the jury duty: oh, it was bad. Very bad. *lol* But thanks for the thought! :7
Wendi ~ Hey, when you think about all the times you've run FARTHER than intended, I'm sure it all equalizes in the end...how do the legs feel today?
Wendy ~ Glad you enjoyed your KB workout. I'm sure you will figure out the rest. You always do...*lol* Re: soccer, that is actually the one and ONLY sport I follow and enjoy thoroughly. Hotties are a major perk, natch!

I'm still doing my non-rotation, at least for one more week. Not sure what I'll be doing today but will report on it later.
Have a great Tuesday!
