Cathy - What is wrong at work? Yes...I feel addicted and too attached to my iPod and "gadgets". Thank goodness they didn't tell use "no Garmin's"!!!

Wendi - In a lot of the races, they don't allow iPods or MP3's because they say they can be a safety hazard. People don't hear people trying to pass them, or maybe a car driving by. You can be disqualified if you use on. There were a lot of people today that used them anyway and they weren't disqualified and nobody said anything to them.

Lorie - Sorry things are still not really right. I know the "detached" type of feeling that you are talking about. Almost like you are just numb. Keep your chin up! Maybe you will start feeling better about it after a little while. Good luck!

What a Game! Holy Cow! I had to get DD14 from her meeting, but I heard that the Pats got a touch down in the last 3 minutes and cheered. (Scared DD14, too!). Could have gone either way, but maybe I’m biased but I thought the Pats played just a little bit better.

Jackie – WAY TO GO!!! That’s a great time for a half when you’re not 100%! I’m impressed (and jealous!). I’m with you on the not wanting to do a full – but I think the training for a full has to be spot on, unless you’re Shelly or Carole who are Super Women…

Linda – WAY TO GO!!! We have quite the team that runs about that pace – we definitely need to run a half together! Nothing wrong with a slow marathon – anyone who can run 26.2 miles has my absolute respect and awe – no matter what the pace! YEAH! Hope DH enjoyed the game and that you got to bask in your accomplishment at least a little!

Lorie – I’m thinking of you! You know, nothing has to be decided today. This is something you need to sleep on many nights, and just watch to see how things unfold. I’m thinking that part of the reason he’s not married at 39 is because of his mom. I could be wrong, but it’s a shame that she used you to ferret out information, and is not apologizing for it. I’m glad you’re feeling better, and I hope you know you can count on the Cheetahs not only to stand in your corner with you, but to kick some MIL or DF tail if required!!! {{{HUGS}}} I LOVE BC. One of Cathe’s rotations (Aug ’05 I believe) had a double BC day – so when I have time, I do it that way – but I change up some of the exercises to be more balanced. It’s a challenge, to say the least!

Cathy – {{{HUGS}}} I’m so sorry to hear that your issue made it to the front page of the news paper!! How disheartening! I hope it blows over soon. I’m thinking of you, too! Thanks for cheering for the Pats! WE WON!!! *Does happy dance around the room* I’m so glad you’re on your way to the Bahamas – go for that massage absolutely! You need it! I’m interested in the card exchange, too, just in case you didn’t know. :+

Wendi – glad your workday was better today! Hope you get rest tonight so you can spend your time with your DS!

Wendy – I’m sorry you’re feeling ill! Hope it passes soon! I wish I could run as fast as that – 2:20 for a full marathon! Maybe a half one day… :p Oh, the birthday was in August – the massage was a certificate we just now cashed in..

Carole – well you got your nail biter!!! Wow! WAY TO GO on the 16.25 mile run! I think you’re ready for your half! :p

Wendi – Glad you’re on the Go Pats team, too! We Won!!! Yeah!!! Hope you enjoy your morning workout! The rice and bean burrito is a CedarLane – so it’s 100% natural – no artificial ingredients. Very good. I was good except for the Hard Cider I had while watching the game. So, we’re probably about even there. :p You should arrange for that with you SO – surprise him. Massages are getting very popular – we found a place that’s $1.00 a minute – much better priced than we paid last night! So we’re going to try there next. We really enjoyed ourselves. I slept like a rock!

I wanted to say that I did S&H Chest and Back today and OUCH! I went as heavy as I could. I also stepped on the scale before and after - and afterwards I gained 3 pounds! A trainer I know says it's the body putting the efforts into rebuilding the muscle. I don't know about that - I just thought it funny. I don't get phased by things like that. I'm sore already, though! Tomorrow is B&G - done as is - haven't done that for a while. I'll do S&H legs later in the week.
