Good morning, cheetahs!
Well, it got me. http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/animals/th_beastie-1.gif Just when I thought I was safe. Last night and this morning, I woke up with a sore throat, this time hardcore. I just feel lousy in general. And is it any coincidence that I spent yesterday grading and handling the kids' notebooks? I am starting to think I need to grade papers wearing rubber gloves. The cycle of germs is just endless. Anyway, today the kids are off, but we have teacher in-service and I am debating whether or not to go or call in sick. I've never done that before when a substitute is not required, so I'm not sure what the protocol is...
Jackie :: http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee296/runninteach/happycelebrations/th_wtg.gif on your 10-miler. You did GREAT on what sounds like a tough, tough course! This series does sound like it'll leave you well-prepared for the half. Loved reading your race report.
Christine :: thanks for the initial feedback on Forrest. I get impatient when poses are held for too long, too, or repeated too often.
Carole :: thanks for joining in the dance...and now for the bad news: I stepped on the scale this morning and received error messages three times...and then: I am up 4 lbs. in 24 hours. Wha??? What a BUMMER. Actually, I am thinking of some other choice words right now, but since this is a family-oriented thread, I will keep those to myself. Anyway, I guess my big (false) loss was just a water fluctuation, and I got excited for nothing.
Boo. I did lose 1.4, though.
I'm just one big ball of sunshine this morning...can ya tell? *lol*
Hope everyone has a GREAT day!
