Good evening ladies!
I'm sorry I've been MIA as far as posting goes but I've only had time to lurk during this crazy weekend. I was happy that I was able to get in a 4 miler, a 6 miler and a 8 miler Sat, Sun and Monday so that made me feel like I was back on track a bit. I was thrilled with the 8 miles today because I did the last mile in 7:50...WOOHOO! I tried to do Low Max Sat am and that just isn't going to happen yet. I am going to *try* to do PP or LIC Body Sculpt premix tomorrow am...I'll have to see how that goes. If not it'll probably be a rest day because I don't think I should run that many days in a row...or is it okay, Cheetah experts?
Cathy - Oh, you poor thing! I hope you nip that little bugger before you get too sick! Please don't beat yourself up about the weight fluctuations...I'm in the same boat right now for some reason :-(.
Lorie - I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better. That sounded like a tough workout considering you're still not 100%. BTW, I was singing the Chia pet theme all day because of that!
Shelly - All I can say is WOW!!!!! Just WOW!!!!! You know that was just plain evil of you to leave us all hanging like that }( LOL!
Judy - Did you end up calling animal control about that skunk?
Wendy - It sounds like you had a great time in A/C. I'd be more interested in the food and drink, rather than the gambling, too :9. You'll get back in the swing of things soon enough...although coming back to reality does suck x(.
Carole - How's your head from the acorn assault? I'm sorry but I had to LOL at that one!
Susan - I'm so glad your hip felt well enough to run...you must have had a blast! Nicholas gets *extremely* friendly when he's hungry. The rest of the time he could care less whether I exist or not.
Sunny - I'm a new cheetah cub, as well. I just started running about 8 weeks ago and these lovely ladies were kind enough to extend an invite. It's very nice to meet you!
Christine - It's great to hear that Jimmy's back in business! We will miss the daily adventures of "Conehead". WOW, that was quite a hike...it must have been beautiful! Awww, cute story about your friend. Ooh, sorry about the GI issues...I hope you're feeling better. WTG on the 10 miles!!!! You've inspired me to make that leap in the next week or so. My 8 miles felt GREAT today so who knows?
Jess - It sound like you had a fantastic time. The graveyard sounds so cute! 120 push-ups

...you're nuts! That's amazing. I hope the marathon wasn't too tough on your buddies.
Amy - KM has a bit of a dread factor for me, too. I played with the order of things last time and loved it though. Warm-up, combos 1 and 2, intensity drills 1-5, combos 3 and 4, intensity drills 6-10. I don't find the combos get my HR up enough and then the intensity drills get it a little too high so this was my compromise.
Jackie - Congratulations on your race! That sounded like a very tough course...well done, high fives!!! I almost can't wait to try a 10 miler now. Geesh, soon it will be a HM

.
I'll see everyone in the morning. Have a good night!
