Good morning, everyone~
Wendi :: hope you enjoyed your run. Thank you re: the 20. 'Preciate the support!
Wendy :: great job with a tough 13. Hope you enjoyed your day off otherwise.
Christine :: it is, and I can't wait! The father of one of my students has run Chicago, and he jotted down a few tips for us on where to eat, where to view, etc. No, it's not just you--the election is played out for me, too.
Carole :: glad you were able to get a night of solid zzz's...nice to see some fall-like weather rollin' in.
Linda :: That's exactly it on the shorter runs now--"it's over already? I just got started." I am getting excited, too, for both of us. Wish we were running together!
Judy :: Count me in the Magic Eraser Fan Club. My favorite distance has always been in the 3-6 range, so nothing untoward was meant by using the word ridiculous.
As Linda said, it just feels like it's over too soon, and I'm gettin' off easy.
Jackie :: I saw a little puppy runnin' loose during the last long run. There wasn't much traffic in the early morning hours, but I was worried the little guy was going to get hit the way he was darting around. I carry pepper spray, too, and would not hesitate to use it if I were attacked, but I wonder if it really would deter a larger dog?...Glad all your files are now where you need them. That's interesting about the tax. What do you think of that system?
Dallas :: glad everything's been fixed from the garage mishap and that MIL is doing all right. Yes, I do a variation on Galloway's run/walk program. Run a mile/walk a min. starting already at mile 1. The Cytomax is still my drink of choice. The hand-held is working out great. I'm back to the school routine with no problems, but as you know, it's a hectic time for the first few weeks. All day is on the run between lost kids, stuck lockers, a new gradebook system this year, meetings, and paperwork, paperwork, paperwork out the wazoo!
Gloria :: I hear you. Totally "get" your comments. I don't mind sharing--and would love to pick your brain--I will when I have more time. My classes are good; some are on the large side. Overall, I have about 100 students. Great job gettin' in the workouts.
I took another rest day yesterday evening. I don't know why, but I seem to be getting plagued with headaches these days. It was sort of a downplayed migraine, but I just wasn't up for slogging through a circuit. Went to bed early. I hope it is not a precursor that another one's coming. Anyway, I'm up early, so I can get to it this morning. Later this evening will be a run + WP.
Off to go sweat...
