no time for personals right now...just wanted to let all of you itrain fiends know, the new itrains are posted!!}(

BBL>>>

Hi, cheetahs!

Lori :: that was me who posted the pic of Katie Holmes…Agree she looks *small*!! Probably from hangin’ around with Posh, who wears children’s sizes in pants, I’ve read.

Wendy :: Sometimes I have seen a handful of folks in costume at random races. There’s a guy around here who used to always run with puppets on both hands, and he'd cheer on everybody else. That was cool. I actually meant the Disney characters…I think it would probably be a very high-energy, feel-good vibe…I’m glad your back’s better. Hopefully that cold of yours hits the bricks soon…No, the phone calls weren’t a downer at all. Just talking about it and what was said on the radio. Enjoy your w/out if you feel up to it.

Christine :: enjoy your split S&H session today!…Mmmm, Greek salad! Yum. Actually, it all sounds delicious.

Kristi :: I watch DWTS, too. What a great way to stay occupied on the tread. I am hoping Marie gets the boot. Max, I could watch all night long…Glad DH made it safely. Sounds like a harrowing drive!…I have not had Election Day off in years. I am glad! :)

Lorie :: GREAT run today! Rock on! Crackin’ up about DF being clueless about it. Hope you have a good day at work today. Any word on your student?

Judy :: looking forward to hearing what you think of your pilates class…Sorry the team didn’t win the division. I’m glad DS did well, though. I agree playing with integrity is more important than winning every game...Speaking of hockey, I have a student who recently had his achilles sliced (ack!) by another kid’s skate. He had surgery and has been hobbling around on crutches. I feel so sorry for him. He looks like he is in a lot of pain. He’s this teeny tiny adorable ball of sunshine, always smiling.

Carole :: I hear you. I wuss out on the roller sometimes, too. *lol*…Mmm. Vegetable taco soup sounds tasty. Looking forward to hearing your review of Slo-Mo legs. I definitely want this DVD now!!

Susan!!! :: so happy to see you! Thank you for the update. ((((HUGS))) comin’ to you. Your strength and positive outlook are just amazing. How is Mary doing? I have been wondering…Hope you enjoy working in DD’s class today.

I wound up doing a mishmosh to save some time. I did 4DS C&B rounds 1, 3, 5 and bi’s & tri’s rounds 2 & 4 followed by BC. Popped in for a tanning session and then went for my pedi. Ahhh! Now it’s some kickback time before I start tackling my to-do list.

[font face="comic sans ms"]When I look at the smiles on all the children's faces, I just know they're about to jab me with something. http://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/cartoon/homersimpson.gif

Here are my gift exchange ideas in no particular order:

*Weighted gloves for kickboxing. I think they are available in 2 different weights so I'd want the lighter pair.

*Cathe "embrace the challenge" baseball T-shirt, size small. You pick the color.

*2008 Cathe Calender

*Exercise Ball Air Pump by Sports Stuff (http://www.amazon.com/Exercise-Ball-Pump-Sports-Stuff/dp/B00066D66I) I am tired of using a squishy stability ball b/c the pump I have is garbage! LOL

*Philosophy's Gingerbreadman hot salt scrub.

Kristi...the soup is smelling good right now!

Susan...nice to hear from you. Not corny at all living each day to the fullest. I know your Mom's death was tough on you and dealing with your friends cancer can be trying. I will keep you and your friend in my prayers...Glad you are liking the new series and I am sure you have been working out hard!!

Sunny..thanks for the iTrain alert!

Cathy...I will let you know how the soup comes out. I will post a bit about Slo-Mo legs below. Looks lke a fun mish-mosh. Enjoy your well deserved kickback time.

Warning about Slo-mo legs....Go very light. I can't believe Amy can go so heavy without tweaking her lower back. I was smiling after the 1st few exercises as she does a lot of lower back stretches!! I just did the 1st three and will do the rest later. I did tweak my low back a little. But the 4 mile run went well...

of course no personals yet as i have been dealing with one student who i have been working with for four years who is "acting crazy" (it's her being manipulative but i'm the only one she doesn't do it with) and also dealing with my other kid's stuff (like trying to get teachers to modify her work load when she gets back without telling them too much...they just thnk she is in the hospital because she has a physical illness) and talking to her parents, providing support, etc. i also had to test a student and am now on my way to a meeting with parents of another student.

BUT...i did manage to find time to buy the new iTread 24 60 minute interval workout. I AM SO PSYCHED TO TRY IT!!!!!

anyway, thinking of my cheetah babes. mwah!

Hey Girls.

I just finished half of Plyo X. I decided against doing the whole thing due to time constraints as well as still not being 100% and I don't want a relapse when I am due to go away to Baltimore this weekend!!!!

Off to shower and get ready to head to MIL's for dinner.

I'll try my best to catch up with personals later!

BFN!:)

Hi ladies! I had a very satisfying 4 mile interval run and a pretty decent nap. In a bit I'll be tackling GSL but I thought I'd chat a bit here first.

Wendy- Hey girl. For the momentous occasion of your first marathon I will commit myself. If it is all humanly possible and you give me enough warning time I will be there for ya! I'll run it with you at whatever pace you want. If you want a really fun one you may want to consider Las Vegas Dec 08. This sounds like it's going to be a blast.... and tons of people in costumes with music and vegas acts all along the way. If we plan it early enough it could be a nice cheetah GTG. Whatever.... just something to think about. I'll certainly be letting you know how it is this year.

Kristi- Your DH's trip sounded scary! Glad he made it okay. Sounds like we had a very similar 4 mile run! Is working out at night "working" for you?

Lorie- woooohooo speedy girl! Awesome time on your run
I hear you about your DF's comment. I get the same type of thing from my DH.... just a patient "that's nice dear" when I babble on about how great a run was.

Judy- I have a nice 3 night stretch off now, but then only go in for a one nighter.... my schedule is pretty erratic! I'm afraid yoga is just too slow moving for my ADD personality!!

Carole- Wow, are we going to finally see a pic of the famous EPIC FLOOR:eek:   ;-) ;-) Actually I'm sure I'll be green with jealousy! This SLO MO workout sounds interesting!
Hey.... I'm coming over with Kristi for some of that crockpot soup:9

Susan!!! How nice to hear from you! How is Mary coming along anyway? I'm so glad to hear that you had a nice family weekend with your DH and your beautiful girls:7 I'm sure it helped recharge you so to speak.

Cathy- Okay, so now you have a tanned and buff bod and beautiful feet to show off in sandals--- you are ready for this cruise babe!

Hope everyone has a great remainder of the day

Shelly - Hey Girl! Good job on the 4 mile interval run. What can I say, great minds think alike. :) I'm honored to be thinking like you. :) So far running at night is okay. I would still rather workout during my lunch, but that would interfere with trying to train Chelsea. The great thing about running at night is the fact I can run farther without a time limit. If I ran during lunch I can only run 3.5 or 4 miles because I am so slow. However, I think I will be changing back to lunch time workouts maybe the end of this month. Some nights it is hard to fit in a workout. Aren't you sorry you asked? ;)

Had to pop in to say it's a very small world. Many of you know I trained a dog (Tucker - the one my user name is for - And Tucker Too) for Search and Rescue. Well, we trained a lot with a girl named Kathy and her dog Mojo. Kathy and I were close - and Mojo and Tucker adored each other. We used to doggie sit the other's dog for vacations and such. When I had to quit search, Kathy and I fell out of touch. She had had plans to move etc, so I thought she was long gone. Turns out she quit teaching (biology teacher) and became a full time dog trainer and is now teaching at Jimmy's new doggie day care. I called in to check on him, and she picked up the phone. I'm so happy we reconnected!

Hey everyone!

Christine - That is so cool about Kathy! I am glad you "hooked back up"!

Sunny - Hope you get all of your pain issues out of the way and can do your half!

Cathy - Yay! Enjoy your day! Forget about that *#@crap at school and relax :7 I know...it is much easier said than done. But try to have fun!

Shelly - Hope you enjoyed your workout! Glad you have a nice break now!

Lori - Ahh! That was so sweet of your DH wanting to order the new Cathe's for you! They are awesome! I love them! You really should get them! I like to use the weight portions with my runs. They are short enough that I have still been able to run longer runs. The cardio is fun, too!

Wendy - Your workout plan for the week sounds good! I am planning on another race in the spring, too! Either a half...or if I succeed with my training...a full! I would love to do one! I really loved running the half!

Kristi - That was a good run you did! Sorry DS is sick! LOL...my oldest daughter was the same way you just described your DD! Now my little grandaughter is paying Anna (my daughter) back for doing me like that...she is just like Anna was! }( Glad DH made it! Hmm...if I could do any marathon....it would probably be...hmmm...NYC maybe. Because it wouldn't be too hot and hopefully not too cold. But I would like to do one that was for a good cause, too!

Judy - Good job on the 6 in 60!! Sorry the tournament didn't go as well as you may have wished.

Carole - Thanks for the warning about SLoMo Legs! I am planning that one for in the morning! I did B&S this morning and I agree with what you said about the shoulder workout being tough! Youch!

Susan _ hey there! It's good to see ya! I am sorry you are going through such a hard time right now. Enjoy your workout! Glad you're going to be in the card and gift exchange!

Lorie - Oh my goodness! That was fast to run 1.27 miles! Great job!

The results for my half were finally posted and my time was better than I thought! It was 2:28:32! I was excited! I wish they would post the pictures! I have checked 100 times today!

This morning I ran 4 miles and did Slo-Mo B&S and the core from Slo-Mo. I loved B&S, but I am not quite so sure about the core workout. I will have to try it again and maybe I will like it better. It could have been because I was so rushed before work.

Hi to anyone I may have missed!

I noticed that I was one that didn't post my size in the weight lifting gloves, too! If they are women's...I guess a medium. If they are unisex probably small.

Linda

Good evening ladies!

I'm sorry I was MIA this morning. I was able to squeeze in HIS/LIS Step and Shoulders this morning before my SO came over to spend my 1/2 day off with me. Then it was off to work and I literally just walked in the door a minute ago. ALthough, I have to run right back out because the goat cheese I just picked up on my way home is definitely *funky* x(.

Sunny - I'm so glad you are still going to shoot for that HM! Maybe you just a need a little recharging!

Cathy - I'm so glad you had the day off to take care of YOU! Your workout today looked like fun! You have a wonderful outlook about The Issue. You are one tough cookie!! Oh, BTW, I um, wear children's size jeans :p...no kidding. Of course, I'm only just over 5' tall. The biggest plus to that...they are so much cheaper!!! I *love* H&M's Chiq kids jeans ($20)! The adult version comes in at $60 and is about 4 inches too long! I only wish I had found them sooner.

Lorie - WTG on your run today...you rock! I saw that post last night and my first thought was "I hope Miss Double Barry doesn't see this!" Don't sweat the personals...you've had a nutso time of it lately and we completely understand.

Shelly - Glad to hear that long stretch at work is over and you can get some "rest"...LOL at the thought of you resting! Unfortunately, we have to show again this Sat and I will have to ride one of them again...DRAT!!! It'll be the same mare I showed two weeks ago in a bigger division this time which should actually be easier. Jumping little jumps is much harder than jumping bigger ones. I juggled a bit and did Bi's and Tri's yesterday and LIS Sh's today. I actually upped my weight from last time and no DOMS...weird. it sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed your workouts today.

Lori - You will NOT be disappointed with this series!!! I think it's my favorite to date :7 and it's just got that "fun factor" that makes me want it to never end.

Wendy - Thanks hon...I'm actually very excited about the change. Enjoy dinner at your MIL's! Glad to hear that you're feeling better! I think it's wise that you decided not to push too hard until you're completely well. Is Baltimore business or pleasure?

Christine - That's wonderful that you were able to reconnect with your friend...that is too cool! Ooh, your menu for today looks YUMMY! I did well except for one minor slip-up...I had a small (and I do mean small!) piece of peanut butter and chocolate fudge and it wasn't even that good...way too sweet x(. That'll teach me!
B - spinach, red pepper, mushroom and onion egg white omelette, 1 slice of sprouted flaxseed bread
L - salad with shrimp and a banana
S - crudite with FF Greek yogurtand an apple
S - nat pb on 1 slice SFS bread
D - turkey chili, steamed broccoli, peas

Kristi - Great run last night! I wish you had had an easier day today! I hope DS is feeling better. How scary to hear about you DH drive...I'm so glad he arrived safe and sound!

Judy - I'm sorry the tournament didn't go as well as you had hoped. I think that's wonderful that you instill such good values upon your children. I find it sad how few parents do these days. hope you enjoyed your workout.

Carole - Can I come over for soup, darling??? That sounds delish!!! I hope you didn't tweak your back too badly. Ooh, goodie, we get pics soon...yay!

Susan - It's so good to hear from you!!! I think we were all starting to get a bit worried. If you don't mind me asking how is Mary doing? I found myself thinking about her the other day while I was speaking with one of our clients who is currently undergoing chemo. Try not to sweat the "eating" part. Actually, Christine and I are doing a mini clean eating challenge since we got carried away appeasing the Halloween spirits :p! She got me today! We're here for you whenever you need us! Glad to hear you're enjoying the new series, too!

ETA: Linda - You snuck in there while I was posting. It sounds like you had a good workout today. Congrats on the official time!!!

I forgot to include my size for lifting gloves as well, oops. I'm probably a women's medium or a men's/unisex small...HTH.

I don't know if I'll have time to stop in tomorrow morning. I want to get a 5 miler in before my SO comes over for breakfast before he leaves for Maine for a couple of days. Then I'll be off to work right behind him. See you all tomorrow night!

okay, i've been struggling with this wish list thing because i HATE asking for things. so, here goes my attempt:

anything related to the university of florida or the florida gators

some cushy, comfy running socks

subscription to runner's world

a gift certificate to a bookstore (i'm a book fanatic)

okay, that's seriously all i can think of. i hope this helps!

what are we doing about the card exchange?

ETA: okay, i looked at wendy's post and a cathe embrace the challenge t-shirt would be fun also. i usualy wear a sall but i don't know how they run. love the pink!

Hey ladies,
I did not forget about personals, but am totally wiped out after a long day. I did the elliptical for 40 minutes and then the shoulder work from the new series, love that workout! I am off to put kids to bed and will get to personals in the morning.

Nighty night:)

Susan
