Hey guys!!

Hope you all had great weeks - spring sure is in the air.

I've started this thread as it's a BIG hockey weekend (state playoffs) for my son.

Good week for me - hope you all had good ones too

Sun - Power hour
Mon - Step Interval - CTX (hadn't done this one in a while really enjoyed it)
Tues - All step - gym (cross trainer) lower body circuit
Weds - 10-10-10
Thurs- Power Hour
Fri - Free weights (upper body) at gym and cross trainer for cardio
Sat - Rest... bad I haven't yet this week!
well maybe LL

Also clean eating all week :) and lots of water...
and I officially joined the gym (after my 1 week trial)

now to keep this motivation up...

Have great weeks all

I'll join early since today is my rest day.

Sun. Step Works

Mon. Taught a hi/lo

Tue. MIS upper and abs

Wed. Taught a hi/lo

Thu. Treadmill jog 2 miles, then walked at incline till 30 minutes was up. Was so surprised at my endurance as jogging is so HARD for me. And I could have kept it up, but didn't think I should cause I didn't want to hurt myself. I'm getting ready for my 5K in May. I'm definitely gonna have to work on hills though as there is a nice one this year.

Fri. Power Hour

Sat. rest...hope to plant our grass today :-jumpy

Andrea

P.S. If you get a chance check out my Circuit Max question over at Video Questions and let me know what you think please!

Hi! I'll join you too--early, but I won't be able to check in on Sunday.
Feeling good--you may know that I modify by not using the step in any of my step workouts because of past knee problems. I'm going to try to add it back in SLOWLY, because I really do love using it! This week I used it with Christi, and what a blast I had!

Goals for the week were two upper body with extra shoulder work, one lower body, four cardio, three core, 3 stretch. Here's how I did:

SUNDAY: Power Hour (no abs)
MIS shoulders
S&H external rotations and stretches

MONDAY: 9801 step
Bmax abs
Tamilee floor stretch

TUESDAY: Powercircuit wu
step from 10-10-10
All Step cardio
Tamilee standing stretch

WEDNESDAY: S&H T/B and C/B warmups
MIS upper body
Bmax shoulders
S&H external rotations
own stretches

THURSDAY: rest

FRIDAY: Still Steppin' ***
S&H planks + Powercircuit planks, low back and abs

SATURDAY: today I will do cardio--maybe a hike, but more likely Cathe, also some more ab work

***here's where I used the step! Whooo Hoooo!! Boy, I was dripping, and I know this isn't even a very tough one! I had forgotten how much more of a cardio workout you get wtih that thing!
Hope everyone has a great week!
Wendy

Good week everyone!!!!!! This has been a fairly good week for me. I have had good energy and have felt great!

MONDAY: Step This Way
20 minutes of my own stretching

TUESDAY: Still Jumpin'
20 minutes of my own stretching

WEDNESDAY:pilates for Dummies
20 minutes of my own stretching

THURSDAY: Rhythmic Step
20 minutes of my own stretching

FRIDAY: Went fishing with my husband. Had a great and relaxing time.

SATURDAY: Power Hour
20 minutes of my own stretching

I got a pedometer this week and started wearing it Thursday. I am shooting for 10,000 steps a day. Thursday I hit 13,000 but only because Rhythmic Step took up 7,000 of those steps. Friday wasn't so great because of going fishing. Hard to get too many steps in a boat. I think I only got about 3,500. Anyway, it's kind of fun to see how many steps I take in a day!!!!

Have a great week everyone!!!!

Pedometers...

Hi Kelly,
I got a pedometer for Christmas and I love it. Cathe's step tapes make it really easy to hit the 10,000 mark! I find that wearing the pedometer makes me really inefficient - making lots of trips up and down the stairs instead of just one, etc.
Hope you have lots of fun with yours!

Hi everyone. Are we starting on Sunday now as opposed to the usual Monday? In any event, I will do it as I have been and here goes:

Monday - PS BBA

Tuesday - Fat Burning for Dummies (could barely get my heart rate up and lent this to a beginner friend to try. It is a great tape for someone to learn on and I like Gay but I may as well have called this a rest day)

Wednesday - Rhythmic Step

Thursday - PS Legs and Abs

Friday - rest (tried hi lo from 2K05, didn't too well at it and so will call this a rest day)

Saturday - Cardio Kicks and the abs from 2K05

Sunday - Will probably do Step this Way

Have a great week everyone.

Kim

Hi, Wendy, I got a series called Total Yoga ,The Flow Series, for Christmas. I ordered the tape I did Thursday, which is also flow yoga, because I am so in love with these tapes. They are by Ganga White and Tracey Rich. The tape is a vigorous, flowing workout and they get right to the yoga, no chit chat which is something I never liked about the otherwise excellent Living Arts tapes. I got my first Total Yoga at Target for $6.99! Here's a link to the website:

Hi Kim,
I didn't think I was going to be able to post today, so I had started my check-in with last Sunday's workout, and ended with Saturday. Normally I would have started with Monday's workout, too. :)
Wendy

good luck to your son. I have 2 hockey players (boys), a swimmer (girl), and a track runner (gorl). It is great when we keep our workouts up, eat clean, and still make to our kids games!
