CCPP Saturday RESULTS!

Janis - I am [/SIZE said:
[/FONT]feeling jealous of your 6.15 miles! That is amazing! I really push myself with CC’s. You probably have been running for years, right? I just started beginning of this year again, I had to stop end of March. I just started running again, the last few weeks. I am also running with a chronic sinus infection. I still take the calorie burn, lol!

Running with an on-going infection! WOWZIE!!!!

No, I am pretty much a newbie to running too. Started in late January, did my very first all run (no walking) towards the end of March. Somewhere along the way, due to all the lovelies on this forum, I downloaded Cardio Coach, and Coach Sean has taken care of the rest!:D

Congratulations everyone on your CCPP results. Today was a major accomplishment for me too. First of all this was the first time I
have been able to add on a bonus challenge. Usually I am dying near the end, but not today. I chose something from V.4 because Sean talks about it not making it into the CCPP so I put it in. Well when I finished it I was still a mile and 1/2 from home so I just kept replaying the cool down music from several volumes and slow jogged the rest of the way home. I logged over 7 miles and stayed jogging for over90 minutes. My longest jog ever.

Way to go everyone.

Jean

WTG everyone!! I love reading about all your workouts each month! :)

I did mine this morning and got to the 4th challenge when my bike chain fell off, so my DH had to come get his hands dirty and put it back on! So nice of him ;) I added the first challenge as my bonus (so V7C2 I'm pretty sure ) But I felt a little quilty about getting a bit of a break while DH came to my rescue so finished with the last challenge from CCPP (V7C3 right!?) -- I love that one!!! My legs and lungs were fried :p:eek:

Have a great evening!

** Coach Sean wasn't calling me barracuda this time, but he did remind me "that it's time to burn off some ice cream!" **

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got home from a bridal shower. I drove 6 hours round trip for a 2.5 hour party and I'm a bit frazzled. It was pouring rain for much of the way and the strain of trying to see through the mist and rain gave me a fierce headache :(. Needless to say, I'm going to delay my workout until Monday, and I will draw upon your Press Play energy for the power I need to cross the finish line . Right now I have just enough time for a quick nap before dinner and that's exactly what I intend to do. I'll check in after my workout. :D

Hey everybody!! Checking in a little late today, I haven't read everyone else's posts yet, but I will go back and read. I just finished up. I got back from St Louis about 2 hours ago, my legs and feet are tired from all the walking we did. Was going to push this back until tomorrow until I got on the scale and about fainted. I did CCPP up thru the cool down, skipped the cool down and did the 7 blasts from LM w/ the med ball as an extra challenge. Now my legs are REALLY tired. Mileage converted from my ellipitcal rotations is 4.7. The hills weren't bad but the sprints were rough on already tired legs. Well, I am off to hit the showers, and then to veg on the couch and talk to my dogger.

Nan

ETA: I feel so much more like me now. A good sweat always makes me feel better. We walked a TON in St Louis but no workouts. Much, much better. I'm glad I didn't put it off

I got my CCPP earlier this afternoon and it went great. As usual, I logged on here first to check out the results thread for some additional inspiration. Great job everyone! Good luck on Monday, Michele!

Michele, that drive sounded awful. :( I hope you're doing better by now.

It's Monday and I've been thinking about you and sending you extra energy for your workout. :)

BTW Gayle, you crack me up! :D :D

Sorry to be so late checking in. I did my CCPP workout last night and it was AWESOME!!! I dedicated it to my brother and his family. There will be a concert in memory of my niece this weekend and we're hoping for a big turn out. Proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. For those of you who don't know, my niece had juvenile diabetes and passed away suddenly in December (on PP Day :() from an insulin reaction. She was only 23.

I carried each of you with me and drew strength from your energy.

Becky and Nancy, thank you for the extra dose of positive energy! I needed it! :D

Until next month!! :D

Michele - I will be thinking of you and your family this weekend.

I did my workout last Thursday but waited to post until Saturday, then forgot! I did CCPP on the TM (running), arc trainer, bike and stepmill. For the added challenge, I did challenge 2 from CC#8 but only did the first 8 minutes b/c I had a 50 mile bike ride coming up Saturday and didn't want to overdo it so I used that for an easy spin on the bike to cool the legs down.

Checking in late:eek: I did CCPP on Friday but left for our cabin shortly after and didn't get time to post results. My knee has been gimpy so I did it on my elliptical and felt good. Skipped the challenge due to time constraints which I appreciated because I was wiped out!

Awesome job by everyone! I am proud to be part of this amazing group of women!

Michele- Hugs to you! I remember when you lost your niece. It was very sad and she was so young. I pray your brother and family are working through their grief and finding comfort in loving memories of their DD. Same for you...I'm sure your niece was very special.
