CC Press Players: Update on Jim MacLaren!!!!

Miss Lee

Cathlete
I received word today that Jim has been transferred to a nursing home and is feeling pretty sad and depressed. His sister is requesting for anyone who cares about him to please send a card to let him know you're thinking about him.

I'm not comfortable posting the address, so if you'd like to send a card, PM me and I will give it to you. I have a lot going on this weekend so I may not get back to you until Sunday or Monday, but I WILL get back to you. ;)

Hey Michele - thanks for this. Do please PM or email me the address. I posted on that link but it never showed up. I will get Halle to draw him a very special pic too. Hope YOU are doing ok.

Oh good! Maybe it just didn't show on my screen right away, or maybe messages have to be approved or something to keep the advertisers, etc off.

Thanks Michelle. I got your email, and will be sending a card today. He is so inspirational and has helped me so much, that I feel the absolute least I can do is send a card to show him support.

This is so sad. Michele, I pm'd you.

I will be sending extra prayers to Jim. He is such an amazing inspiration!

I think I have sent the address to everyone who has requested it so far. :)

I'll be out the rest of the day but I'll be checking PM's late tonight, so keep them coming -- or even just post in this thread if you want me to send you the address. ;)

Hi Stacey and Susan. Check your PM's. :)

If anyone else wants Jim's address you can either post in this thread or send me a PM, but I will not be be able to answer anymore PM's until Sunday or Monday.

I'll let you know if and when I receive any updates on Jim's condition. ;)

Thanks for posting this Michele. I got your message on Facebook with the address so I'm all set. But I just wanted to say that I'm going to buy a bunch of cards and just send one a week until we hear differently on his condition. I know that everyone is busy, but he has done so much for so many people and if we could all just try to remember him more than just once I'm sure that would really help lift his spirits. I'll just take the cards to work and have the envelopes addressed and ready to go and then write something up - whatever I'm feeling that day and drop it in the mail.

Just a thought...
