Cathe's Knee Replacement

Such a great attitude too! Helps in the healing! I heard you mention a rotator cuff repair. I had 2 repairs. the 1st one was fine, but then it tore BEHIND the repair during PT. Then a couple of weeks after that repair, the entire thing failed during PT again. That left me with no other choice but a reverse shoulder replacement. I rehabbed it at home that time. Three years of that nonsense, & now I'm almost 2 years into doing your workouts! I have some limitations but nothing too annoying. I hope your knee continues to heal quickly with no problems! I'm amazed at how you still continue to take care of your Cathletes even when you go through surgery! HUGS!

My father had one does a little over a year ago and he was in his 70's. He did great. I went up there to help with day to day stuff since my mother rarely drives due to vision issues. His recovery was pretty fast since he stayed with what he was suppose to do and I made him relax when he was suppose to (that was the hardest part). I stopped going up there to help after about 10 days and it took about 3-4 weeks when he was able to back on his walks in the morning, just short walks at first. Now he's doing great and is having no issues at all. Best of luck Cathe and take your time, we'll be here when you get back.

Thanks for sharing your father's story. It's reassuring for those of us possibly facing this down the road.

I also appreciate Cathe's willingness to share more details of her experience.
