Cathe's Killer Class

Every Monday class, Cathe switches things up so it doesn't get boring. Well today was the most intense Monday I've done so far (or my mind won't let me remember the other torture classes).

Cathe walked in the door and started. And 1 hour later she stopped!!! In some classes you kinda get a little break while getting your mat or weights etc. But NO, not today. She inserted jump rope between each and every move. She threw in those godawful___________ (insert correct name here) down or your hands, throw your feet out the back, pull them back in and jump up in the air thingys!!!! Um, hello I can't do those thingys after an hour of drills and jumping jacks and kickboxing. Well actually, I can't do those thingys anyway!!!

After the class, Jai said. "Wow, that was a really hard one". If Jai says that, it must be hard. It was also hard because JERRY and GAYLE had me laughing thru it. Hard to laugh when you can't breathe!!!

I'll let Jerry fill you in on the after class get together. Because I LOVE Cathe and all the others. But I went home and went to bed!!! NOT KIDDING!!!!

Hi Ellie! My ears were ringing so I popped on the forums to see who was talking about me...LOL!!!!

Yes, we sure did "work work" today. I knew you all had a get together yesterday and figured you would want to burn off the damage. So of course I couldn't I disappoint you. We sure rocked it and it felt good to sweat! You all had amazing energy and stamina. Even smiled and laughed through much of it....High fives to you! When are we doing it again????

We all grabbed a bite at Friendly's after class to refuel and exchange fun stories. Sorry you had to scoot home for that part, but gosh, what a busy weekend you all had. Totally understandable!!!

Gayle, as always it is such a pleasure to see you, and this time meet your two boys too. Please thank them from me for being such great sports about the whole thing. They are so well behaved and polite and I can tell that they love their mom so much. How sweet!

Jerry, your humor always gets me going. Thanks for making us all smile so much. I'm sorry that I missed the opportunity to meet your wife. Next time. You did great in class. Thanks for putting up with all my "crazy" moves, ha!

Jai and I had a great time seeing all of you today.

I laughed reading your post with a huge smile on my face. Us ladies in the Hudson Valley, NY area will have to take that commute one of these days to get our whipping from Cathe.....

Hey everybody!!!! Can I whisper that I didn't think today's class was hard? Or at least not the HARDEST!? Don't let Cathe hear that. I do admit, though, that the 4th lap had me huffing and puffing thru those circuit sprints. And those abs with legs elevated and moving side to side with the weight! YEAH! Very hard to do those while laughing at my fellow Catheites!

Cathe and Jai were WONDERFUL during lunch and I laughed at myself when I got in the car at how NERVOUS I was having brunch with them! LOL They got up to leave earlier than Jerry and I, and once they were gone, I thought of all these things I wanted to say to them! Star-struck...that was me.

Cathe, you're right, if I may admit, that my boys were such good sports during this weekend. I was very proud of how well they behaved both at Ellie's house and at Friendly's! Thanks to both you and Jai for spending some time with us today. I know how busy you both are!!!

Phyllis, NEXT TIME you're taking off of work to go to class with us! LOL

OK.....time to unpack and do some laundry and get back out of vacation mode and into reality once again!!!!!

What a class...what a weekend!!! I want to thank you all for making Diane feel so welcome, she enjoyed herself bigtime.

Phyllis...enough with the texting, huh.. Seriously, it was a pleasure to hang with you again, and a pleasure to meet your daughters, that was so cool of them to take the kids to the arcade!! Hope to catch you next time!!

Gayle...what can I say, I am honored to call you my friend, meeting you makes the price of club membership well worth it..oh, wait..there is no fee for club membership...anyhoo, you get the idea...your kids rock, BTW!

Ellie...One of the few people who actually get my sense of humor!! Seriously, as with Gayle, so lucky to find a friend like you!!

Cathe...You never fail to amaze with your classes, I was freezing cold when we were warming up, I was drenched a short time later, I enjoyed all the jump rope...one of the few higher impact moves I can do fairly well...and I enjoy the running as well..and you know I love me some kickbox! You will meet my wife in '09, I promise! How cool was it that we were able to snag you away for a little while for lunch, you can never have too much laughter!!

I don't have a ton of great ideas, but I do have to say that starting or little Tri Stater group has worked out better than I could have hoped for!!
