Saturday morning I did a combination that included the hi/lo circuits from SJP. WOW!! I forgot how hard the static lunge sequence in that workout was. So I was wondering, which of Cathe's static lunge sequences does everyone think is hardest? I'm torn between the ones in SJP and the slow motion lunges in GS Legs. LL is a toughie, too . . . hmmmm . . . . What to y'all think?

Muscle Max's lunge sequence is tough because it comes after doing squats.

Muscle Endurance's lunges are hard because they follow 2 sets of leg presses.

I'd say that Power Hour's lunge segment is a real doozy.

Push/Pull's is challenging, too - particularly when you get to the slower count reps.

Have you tried the "Leg Blast" pre-mix on Butts & Guts? Oh my, I didn't think one could do so MANY lunges in one workout. Ouchie (in a good way...you know we all love to torture ourselves)!!

I also think Power Hour's lunge sequence is the toughest. That's why I avoid that workout like the plague!

Definitely agree that Leg Blast workout is very hard - it is one big static lunge! Walking lunges, lunge sequences, one-legged squats then lets do them again in a different order and again in case you missed it :D . I am crying by the end of that one.

Definitely Power Hour !! Those are the worst - and I LOVE that workout!

But as for the ones up there - SJP does it to me - probably because you were stepping, then cardio hi/lo - so my legs are tired in a different way, where with GS Legs, it doesn't hit in that same way...

I haven't done the GymStyles yet (call me scared by this poll), but the ones in SJP really get me. The low ends in this one never seem to end. I have no idea why, but these top my list for tough lunges!
