Cathe's floorwork for lower body

I love Cathe's lower body floorwork and need more! I have PS Legs and Pyramid LB already. I was thinking of buying either Legs and Glutes or Gym Style Legs for the floorwork mainly. I see on the website that the floorwork in L & G is 11 minutes. How long is the floorwork in Gymstyle Legs? Which one do you prefer? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Lisa
I prefer the floorwork on GS Legs. It runs around 24 minutes on the floor work. It does require the 6 ft band. You also use the stability ball on this one. I think it is a very effectice workout.

I agree with Diana. I prefer the GS floorwork and I love the band!! Although the KPC/L&G DVD does give you alot of different premixes...Like you Lisa...I also enjoy Cathe's floorwork ALOT...:)...Carole

I have to add my vote for the floorwork in GSL - I use some of it in my Pilates on the ball class - my personal favorite is the roll-out!!! They are all makin' faces when we do it! But we love 'em 'cause they WORK!!!!
Just Do It! :)

I prefer GSL floorwork also, but L&G is my favorite lower body workout done in its entirety. I have gotten GREAT results with it.

Hi Lisa,
I really like the floorwork on GSL. Sometimes I'll just do that as an add on. I just ordered L&G with my preorder so I'm not sure about that yet :)!
Cath :)

A vote here for Legs & Glutes! L&G has some standing "isolation" work, such as knee extensions and a few sets of outer thigh lifts, in addition to the lying floorwork.

when you ladies are saying that you are getting good results from doing this floorwork...are you also getting results in your hips and glutes???? that's what I need to work on. My legs don't look too bad...just want to shed some fat off the hips and glutes. I am currently running also.

thanks:)
gloria

take care:)

I think Cathe's best lower body is Leaner Legs. Especially the floor work. PLB is good, too. But I have always gravitated to the Leaner Legs. Hope this helps!!

Another vote for GS Legs which I did this morning. It's the only one of Cathe's workouts that include shin work. The band & ball work is tough.

The poster above suggested Leaner Legs, but it doesn't have any floorwork. It's a great workout, but I think women need to isolate the abductors & adductors.

One of her other workouts has tibialis anterior (shin) exercises with the ball as well. P/P maybe?

I added on the Lower Body add-on from Basic Step, to High Step Circuit (Intermediate). I really felt the floorwork in Lower Body - especially the last two parts for the glutes & hamstrings.
