In regards to another post on here about Cathe's comments in one of her videos, It gave me a thought. I think if this would be accomplished, it would be great, and histerical too,(And I wish I could do it). If we could take all her funny comments, words of encouragement and grunts from all her videos and put it together into one, it would be a good seller among her fans. Maybe even put some music in the background or something. Just a thought....
 
That is a really cute idea! I certainly don't have the technology or the knowledge to put something like this together, but I'm sure some people on this site might know! We could also start a vote of some of the sections we would like to include... Here are my nominations:

Funny comments -
PUB: When Cathe and crew are doing bicep curls with 15 lb dumbells she says, laughing, "I think I'm having an out of body experience." That always cracks me up because I think I am too!
Circuit Max: "Leave out the monkey sound effects"
S&H - "Shakin like a chihuahua (sp?)"

Motivational comments-
IMAX2 - "Hang on to your hats, folks!" "Double knot your laces!" "I need your energy, commitment, strength, etc, and I need it now!"
Bootcamp - during abs she says something like "Pull! Twist! Crunch! (grunt) Get in there!"
Muscle Endurance - during barbell curls "Come on, show me your strength here!"

Signature Cathe-
"What you do to one side, you do to the other!"
"Take in the air! Suck it up! It's free!"
"You're gonna make it!"
"Don't be afraid to go heavy!"

I might have gotten some of the videos wrong, but you get the basic idea!
 
A couple of my favorites are when she says "I know you're tired but JUMP HIGHER!" and when she says, "and now we have to do the whole thing on the other side...Oh yes you can!". She always makes me smile and actually laugh when I really feel like collapsing. But....I keep going! :7 I think these are both in Imax 2. (Could be wrong, but just thinking off the top of my head, here! )

Those are all great! I have heard most myself. I laughed reading them, its almost funnier when your not doing the workouts.

A good idea ballet girl! Or even, put up a post for everyone to post all their favorite Cathe comments for everyone to read.

I think Ill do that.
 
In S&H she looks back at her crew and says "they must be happy because they're still showing some teeth, unless they're growling!"

"You're not stopping the VCR to go make some popcorn, are you?"

"We're taking a break, not a vacation"
 
In PS Legs, while doing sit and stand squats, Cathe says: "My legs are going a mile a minute!" And I'm holding that squat, about to give up, yet thinking that if she's feeling the same way I am but not giving up to the fatigue, I can do the same.

I love it when Cathe blurts out a long phrase to describe something as she teaches and says, "Say that ten times!"

In PLB: "I can feel your vibes coming at me..." I have to make it a good vibe if they're coming at her, now shouldn't I?

In PUB, while doing triceps: "This is your last one, make it your best. Oh, they're all the best."

In S&H (I forget which body part): "Fight the weight. You'll win." Damn straight.

In KPC: "Show me some teeth!" That's my cue to work hard. But every time I do KPC, I have someone's face floating right in front of me, and I DO punch hard.

PS again: "Don't let the weight jerk you around." That was my first important lesson in weight training. I'll never forget it as long as I live. I don't let anything or anyone jerk me around either.

I gotta stop now. This is addictive.:)

Editing to add: "It's getting toasty in there." Toasty? I'm dying!

Oh yes, I love it when Cathe notices it's getting toasty! Right about that time I'm toasted. I need to do S&H again to hear "Fight the weight."

Thanks for bringing these to mind!
 
I just did L&G today, and these comments brought a smile to my face...

"Mind over matter, here!"

"Are you ready for the other side? Sure you are!"

"We're just gonna love the stretch at the end of this, aren't we?":)
