Hi, Cathe,
After doing Hardcore Extreme this morning and enjoying looking at your various clip-on ponytails while my own hair was getting drenched w/ sweat, I decided to go get one. I love it! I actually got two- a curly one and a sleek, straight one. What a fun accessory! My little one, Rachel, and I went and she got one, too. She told Tim, "Daddy guess what? We went shopping today and we bought HAIR!" :D

I'm also still enjoying my road trip memories. Thanks again for all you do! You are the best and I'm so glad to work out w/ you!

Hi Amy! Don't you just love the cute things our kids say.

Those pony clips are addictive. I have curly, straight, wavy, etc. I just recently had to get darker ones since toning down my highlights. Enjoy your new "hair" and give Rachel a hug for me. Take Care!
 
At the Hair Store, where else? ;)
No, we have a store here that stocks every color and style with every kind of highlight, too. It is an Asian import store called Sam Moon that also specializes in trendy accessories of all kinds, purses, belts, jewelry, high end knock-offs of various kinds. They have one worker there who is really good at helping you choose the right match.
I think they take credit cards there if the boy's picture on the card is super cute! ;D You know I'm kidding, Kathy!!

I'd love to see some pix of your new "do"! Sounds like such fun. I was amazed how well Cathe's looked so real. I had to laugh at your "cute boy's pic" joke! Ha!

Phony Ponies are the best! I used mine quite a bit when I was growing out my hair beyond an awkward stage...another way to make it really cute waiting for it to get cute.

Amy, she AND you are so beautiful!!! You're looking so fit and gorgeous, and I love Rachel in that long hair -- isn't that a little girl's dream ponytail??? :) I think shel definitely has your mouth and chin -- maybe your eyes too, what do you think?

Now I am fixated on that hair, darn it, and so far I can't find anyplace in ATL that sells hair pieces like that! Maybe I can do a web search for specific brands, so can I ask you, does your "new hair" have a brand name in it? And is it clip-on? (Inquiring minds wanna know. ;-))

Thanks! :) Yes, Rachel picked out her own ponytail, perfect for dress ups. :) My sister said that she's seen them at kiosks in the mall for a rather high price, however, the place I go is wholesale place and they are quite reasonable-$19, good quality. Our brand is "Sun Hair Collection" however, I did a search online and didn't find anything. You can search on google for "clip on ponytail", "synthetic ponytail", or "ponytail wig" and several things come up.
Mine has a long claw clip with the ponytail covering up all of the plastic. PM me if you can't find it. I'm going back this week to exchange a purse.

Oh, and Rachel looks TIM! Maybe a teeny bit like me, but his kid pictures and her kid pictures look the same!

Wow Amy! Those are such fun pictures of you and Rachel. The side shot just captures the fun mommy and Rachel had being being alike. So adorable. They did a great job matching your pony to your true hair color too. Hugs to both of you special girls. Btw, you are obviously keeping up with your workouts...your arms look great.

Amy, I have to laugh. I just did Hardcore Extreme for the first time yesterday and thought, "Wow, Cathe looks adorable!" I loved her pony tail and didn't make the connection that it was a clip on. It looks so real! Those pics of you and your daughter are to die for!! What a lucky little girl you have. You seem like a wonderful mommy!! She is beautiful and so are you! Thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks, everyone. :) Rachel is a lot of fun. Some kids are just easy, and some are hmmm..."more complicated" and they all bless you in different ways. Rachel is easy. :)
