Hi Cathe,

I thought about posting this in the 'new moms' forum, but anyway
I was hoping you could give me some meal ideas...healthy ofcourse. I'm a stay at home mom w/ a one yr old daughter & I'm very health consious. I feel like especially when it comes to making dinner for my husband and I, it's the hardest thing to figure out anymore. I do know tons about nutrition & clean eating, I would just love to know what you prepare. Usually dinner is difficult because of me since I'm the health nut. As you know, being a mom is a very busy job & I was hoping you could give me some of your recipes, Please!! Are there things you find easy to prepare in advance so you have "go to" food for breakfast, lunch, & dinner? If so, will you share? I really need some ideas. Any help you could give me would be SO helpful & greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Amanda:9

sorry not Cathe here but,I would also like to see some of Cathe's recipes !

Cheesy story:
I read a post somewhere about a lunch that cathe had(turkey burger, green beans, brown rice and steamed broccoli)well,I think I had that same lunch like three times that week:7

Cathe,Please share some of your recipes!

Hi Amanda! I really don't have any "juicy" recipes since I have a sensitive stomach and get very bloated from many saucy, spicey, greasy, gravied foods. My system does well on bland and that's why it's very easy for me to eat clean. I usually cook separate stuff for the family though since bland isn't exciting for most ;-)

My week consists mostly of the basics:

One or two days a week its steamed seafood (salmon, shrimp, scallops, flounder, orange roughy, tuna)

One day chicken

One day turkey

One day lean red meat

Sometimes a lean white pork

I also like eggs (three whites to one egg yoke), protein shakes, low fat yogurt, tofu, peanut butter, etc.

I like romaine lettuce, mixed baby greens, brocolli, green beans, chick peas, carrots, peas, and a wide variety of other vegatables.

I also like brown rice and sweet potatoes and occasionally some pasta.

I usually just drink water and non-fat milk. Once a day either green tea or coffee.

Again, nothing exciting, just food basics.

Take Care!

TY Cathe for posting this. I also have a sensitive stomach and a blander diet for me is also suitable! However, to see you you incorporate it healthy, help me a lot!

Hmmmmmmmm....I am starting to think that pounder bag of M&M's I have in the pantry may be one of the things holding me back from looking like you...Hmmmmmmmm :7 (LOL!)
